I’ve got the same question as others. Why are you no-tilling on tilled soil. WTF? Also, you don’t have to mow first (or till) as many use a crimper for even better thatch to cover the ground andcprevent moisture loss and weed growth.
Great video brother. Thanks for walking through the settings. I'm about to purchase a 706NT and trying to get familiar with the settings before I take delivery. How is it to service?
Bit of a waste of time for me. Expecting to see the no drill work in a no till environment and then the next moment you get is the ground worked up. I was really wanting to see the drill work like it should do, NOT like this stupid set up.
I'm guessing the reason he demonstrated it on tilled ground is so we could see the drills breaking the ground and the rollers closing it. Every time I hear someone mention a government program, I cringe. We need to get the federal government out of our agriculture.
Nice demo, but that ground has been tilled. The whole point of the no till drill is to plant on land that is not tilled.

Why was the soil worked up if this is a no till drill project? You got government money to get a drill for conservation and still disturb the soil?

This is actually a video of NO no-till planting.
Thanks for the video how much cost that size
As before, why on earth notill into tilled ground?
Is that an mx5000??? Had one years ago and loved it.
Just bought the land pride nt606 pick it up next week
I think it is an M6800?
No till seeder on tilled soil?
Well done.
Nice drill. Just not going to pay $25,000 for one.
