I want to thank you for saving my life. I found your youtube channel by accident and I binged for one whole night. I recently lost my husband of 43 yrs (3 months ago) and I have been lost, scared, overwhelmed and a sadness that crippling...Well, thanks to you, I am refinishing furniture from thrift stores, and redoing some little parts of every room in my house. Things I did many years ago but life got in the way! Now Im busy and my mind is busy thinking of things to make or redo. I am making a spare room into a craft room too. I have projects lined up and it makes me smile, something I forgot how to do. I know my husband is smiling down on me. From the botom of my heart - Thank You & God Bless!!!

Watching your videos encouraged me to paint my faux fireplace from a cherry color to a white linen chalk paint, and I also redid the top of my coffee table to a java color stain, and the body in white linen. So so happy with the results! Thanks...

This is the first time I watched your videos and I thought she does absolutely amazing work! Then as I was watching I noticed your head covering and then I noticed ur dresses. I got so excited then I thought well maybe she just likes skirts lol. So I went to the community just to see if you mentioned anything about ur faith. I got to you answering questions video and their it was. I knew you had to be something associated with my church which is Wesleyan Methodist. 5 generations went their then I went to Wesleyan Methodist private school that had maybe 15 kids in my class. Sadly I went the worlds way and it sucked! Lol. Pardon me but that's the word that comes to mind. It can be very tough without christ. But it's taken lots of work to get back to where I was. I dont think people realize what God can do in their lives. I compare to 2 lives I had and there is no comparison. I'm still working on getting the life I had back. I want it more than anything. But I just wanted to thank u for being such a inspiration with ur work but more importantly your faith. I never came across ur videos on UA-cam but I'll be watching every single day for a new video. Thank u thank u! You are absolutely amazing!😉♥️

Is the “spectral” (sp.?) paint a latex interior wall paint or something else? Also, what sheen is the paint, i.e.flat, eggshell, semi-gloss, etc.? Thank you for posting answers to these questions in the notes section of this video. (The small lettering on the picture of the Best Look paint can that you inserted in the video was too small and blurry for me to read on my iPad). Thanks for a great video.

bryson west let plastic set out in the sun for awhile and see what happens. Not all plastics last hundreds of years. Like plastic bags from the grocery store. Let them out in the elements and they just fall apart.

Try a stain blocking primer on old and/or stained wood pieces. Your top coat will look as you intended in the end because the primer will block the pigments from mixing thereby modifying the final outcome. There are primers made to block “heavy” staining. That’s what you’ll need.
That said, that desk came out great! The hardware works really well with it too.
