What are gnocchi 🤓 ? The Italian word "gnocchi" translates as dumplings and is quite well known around the world. Gnocchi are specially shaped dumplings made from potato dough, but there are also some made from durum wheat semolina. I used fresh gnocchi made from potato dough in this recipe, and they are great for frying. You can of course cook the gnocchi in water, feel free to look at the package instructions. You can of course also use another variant, one that tastes best to you and you can find in your supermarket 😜. If you don't have gnocchi on hand, you can also eat this recipe with pasta 😋. A glass of wine will definitely go well with this too 😎. Bon appetite !
Ingredients for 3-4 servings:
a few tablespoons of oil to prevent the gnocchi from burning.
600g gnocchi
2-3 cloves of garlic
200ml cream
300ml milk
200g tomatoes (e.g. date tomatoes)
2-3 tablespoons tomato paste
30g parmesan cheese
salt, pepper
A handful of basil
