His fist gloves actually pack some sort of ammunition, which he apparently shoots out whenever he hits someone. He had a second move-set in the last 2D game where all his attacks did ungodly damage and ejected shells from his gloves left and right, he could also run out of ammo if you threw jabs recklessly. So basically you can assume when he's hitting someone it's having the added effect of firing a shotgun at point blank range on the opponent. Juggernaut had nothing on this guy.

Not to eject anything, but to generate kinetic energy that would be then transfered into whatever he hits. Obv he has moves where he straight up shoots a guy like with his extended command grab, but he has to open up some kind of hidden gun compartment in his glove to do that.
I like this a lot, actually. He's so fucking huge, that it's hard for the blood to get where it needs to be in time, therefore he artificially pumps up his heart rate with the hand motion.

My friends main character, when he told me that Potemkin couldn’t back dash or walk backwards, I was impressed. The whole time he was just pressing forward on the joystick, making the correct reads. That’s what I like about this game, all characters played different from each other or had different stats adjustments. Hp, def, etc. also, I didn’t know in sf3 ts - the characters have different hp, it’s why akuma/gouki takes double damage. Good times!

He's said to be able to actually splatter someone if he used a regular punch without those gauntlets it's why his instant kill is him removing them before throwing a punch to destroy them. I think the shells might be shock absorbers to power his gauntlet.

Ngl, to me this sounds pretty hopeful. Like, Potemkim, at this time, is a slave. However, it's still Potemkin, our pacifist buddhist who don't enjoy violence, who wants the best for humanity. His theme is both heavy, but also have those "softer" notes of whatever this piano sounding thing is, which kinda feels like the pacifist part of him being shown.

@1hitgamer Regardless, Rachel is still one of the more powerful characters and is a vampire. Meaning my original point of her being comparable to Slayer is STILL valid. Hell, the creators seemed to have intended the 2 to be comparible since one of Rachel's DLC colors is of Slayer's color scheme.

@KaiHyouookami Thank you. That saved me some effort of asking exactly how and why BB made it into the comment section of Potemkin without having "is inferior to Guilty Gear" somewhere in it.
I mean BB is kinda fun itself, but it's really just holding me over until a GG with better netplay code than #Reload comes around, preferably the GG in the works or at least a port of Accent Core. Also a shout out to our boy, Faust: "NANI GA DERU KA NA?" because many have already said POTEMKIN BUSTAH.
