What's your personal favorite LEGO Star Wars remade set? watch the video to find out mine!
MandRproductions you should make a video top ten or fifteen lego minifigure remakes
2012 Jabbas Palace, and 2017 Desert Skiff Escape
It isn’t a remake but my favorite set is general grevious speeder. Great build and great price
My personal favorite was the corporate alliance tank droid (same reasons as you) but the mini figures were an awesome added bonus.
MandRproductions my favourite set (i own)
Is the 2012 x wing
Great video (:
Can you do a video ranking the most accurate Figures or even the least accurate minifigures!
I think top 10 least accurate LEGO Star Wars minifigs would be awesome! GREAT IDEA!
MandRproductions I would be interested to see that so I know what sets to stay away from!
But make sure to disqualify the early year figures and do the more recent figure because otherwise it would just be the figure from the first three to four years
MandRproductions HAHAHHAHAHAH the snoke one deserves the 1st award...
djinnblade 8
The 1999 snowspeeder actually looks pretty good, and was slightly ahead of its time looks wise. Also, the light grey colour scheme is more movie accurate than white. Lego just makes them white nowadays so it looks less dull for the kiddies.
yes
The white is much more accurate to the actual snowspeeder. The grey is more accurate to the generic airspeeder design.
Jarmo Verriet what are you talking about? Have you even seen The Empire Strikes Back?
Lewis MX I have MANY times. While the Snowspeeder isn't as white as it is on the Lego set it definitely isn't grey either.
Jarmo Verriet You must be colourblind. It is clearly grey in the film, and if you watch behind the scenes footage of the battle of hoth then you'll see it is clearly light grey.
The original jabbas palace is superior, it has a *göńk* droid
It has the power of a g o d
Can’t beat the göńk droid
G O N K
GONK
*G O N K*
I'm a big fan of the updated Jedi Starfighters (beginning in 2008) that allowed a full astromech minifigure to be integrated (as opposed to just the head).
“Some nice sexy curves” -MandRproductions
@Benjamin Hager hahahaha 😂
*On the TIE fighter*
"The new color scheme alone makes it worth (35$)"
idk about that bud
I got the 2004 Millennium Falcon complete with box at a yard sale for five dollars.
Elijah Wilson great deal
omg!!!
I wish
@Ian Fenwick deception
Elijah Wilson r/that
happened
The Rogue One AT-ST is pretty wicked and we still need a new Tie Bomber.
The Bomber would be very cool!
Archer greg Indeed, hope it is not a $59.99 set and if it is then have the features to justify the cost (comand center).
Luis E Morales Falcon and interceptor
Blobi Stroganosky I already have one, as is the case with the Tie Defender, so the need for me for that set is not there as the Tie Bomber that said, even though I have an AT-AT and a Imp Star Destroyer (plus a few AT-ST) I would surely welcome more.
New interceptor too
2000 slave 1 to 2006 slave 1 should have been on the list. Love your vids 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was gonna say that like it should have
AGREED.
Most of these can be summed up as,
"After LEGO began producing new curved slope pieces, it was able to make better fuselages for the spaceships."
The MTT and the battle droid tank are LITERALLY my favorite Star Wars sets
The 2007 mtt was my first actual LEGO set and I loved it so much. It was really fun to build and cool to display.
Bonus Point: The newer Jabba's Palace set actually attaches to the top of the Rancor Pit set, allowing for proper dropping of minifigs into said pit.
Keep doing these. They are really interisting and very Well made. Keep the good work
I will! I appreciate the kind words friend!
*N I C E A N D S E X Y C U R V E S*
The 6207 A-wing was my first ever Lego Star Wars ship.
Changed my life.
Maybe I'm just an old man looking back with nostalgia, but I prefer the old "blocky" lego sets. I remember getting the Sith Infiltrator or the Snow speeder sets as a kid, building them, and immediately swapping parts and customizing. With the new 'sleek' designs, there isn't as much customization
the vader transformation set was my first ever set back then. Before it, my mum was strict on me getting things like that (I was 9 or so). But yeah, I pretty much played with that for about 5 months and made speeders out of the set until my birthday where my aunt got me the first Tie Fighter were light up Vader and the pilot. I have some good memories
Do a top 10 list of minifigs that deserves a proper update
Brad White
1.starkiller
2. thrawn (his emblem doesnt represent grand admiral)
3. kid anakin
4. shaak ti
5. zam wessel
6. b wing pilot
7. grand moff tarkin
8. more phase 2 clone troopers in general
9. magnaguard
10. and the should make an episose 4 set with owens farm
5.
BrandiDarken Phase 2 minifigs are okay just need a bit more improvement like actually have holes like phase one has, most of them you choose do not need to be updated except for Zam Wessel, rest needed a little adjustments or have non-Clone Wars style heads, so yeah
For the color changes you gotta remember this, back in the late 90s and early 2000s LEGO didnt have much of a color scheme to work with. The blues and reds and random colors overall were because they didnt have those quality pieces in the colors they needed so they went with what worked. Now however since there is a lot more to work with its easy to look back and say "What were they thinking?" when in reality you gotta look at it from their side too.
I love how a lot of these have already been remade AGAIN by 2020 and EVEN BETTER (especially the TIE Fighter)
Congrats on 50K Subs!
Thanks dude!
I have a complaint,
Why is Corey and his fidget spinner not here???
What happened to jongo phett
Agreed
Bobi Phett nice name (^;
Who to is Corey?
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoodb7585 MandR,s brother
Technically, Palpatine’s shuttle from 2011 was the upgrade to the darth Vader transformation
These videos make it very clear to me that you did not get a chance to experience those original sets firsthand. While I agree with you that in hindsight, many of them look very janky, you have to remember that before them, there were no Lego Star Wars sets at all. Don't take that for granted. I was so jazzed that I got to build all of those badass ships and vehicles back then, even if they were too blocky for your liking.
David N it’s like how legos used to be haha
Can't wait til L1F3BR1CKS releases the top 15 WORST star wars remakes
He copied my endscreen that I JUST remade a week ago. Wouldn't put it past him.
NoVa he is pretty bad with the was he clickbaits, Talks to People and such
MandRproductions how about a vid on him like on the bricklink youtubers
Wait...
Don't you hate the sith infiltrator?
Where is the real Ryan and what have you done with him?!?
Maanas Kollegal I hate the new ones. I like the 2007 one cause nostalgia.
Makes sense.
I wish Star Wars sets were still like 2011-2014. They give me so much nostalgia and I have lots of regrets of not buying some sets. Also I just miss the art of the boxes and The New! Character signs.
2007 mtt is probably in my top 15 LEGO sets period. Such a great set
I wanted to say great pics. I love your video's. I wanted to thank you for your hard work on putting out great content. I always look forward to your video's. keep the lego vids coming...:)
This was a great list! Really enjoying your content while in quarantine!
Darth vader's tie fighter from 1999 to 2015
VAQUERO9494YT what about the 2009 one
If you get the Death Star it comes with the Darth Vader tie but if are wanting only the tie do not buy it it's expensive
Wouldn’t it be cool if they used chrome pieces for the captain phasma figure, it would add so much value to the figure to me
A lot of the originals have a dear place in my heart and I still to this day love the look of them, despite their inaccuracies I find the blockiness so charming and nostalgic. Really takes me back to my childhood, when nothing made me happier than LEGO.
I want to buy them all and build them all again one day
Love your vids
:)
11:32
Little did he know a year after this video Lego would make a new one and make the 2012 one look trash
5:05 What about the Droid Attack on the Wookies ?
Paul Kaufmann true but
*HAVE YOU HEARD OF THE TRAGIC STORY OF DARTH PLAGUEIS THE WISE?*
Im still waiting for the Tie Bomber, Tie Interceptor, and Cloud City to be rebuilt. I have all 3 of those, and all 3 are so due for upgrades.
Also, I kinda disagree with the second Sith Infiltrator. It wasn't scaled right, the third one was way bigger and better scaled.
Munchell360 I understand the scale issue with the set but I genuinely dislike all the studs that show on the newer models.
Buddy, do I have good news for you lol
Here’s a good remake-the Death Star Final Duel! It went from a scronny cheep $7 Set to an amazing $80 Set!
I'm just here waiting for that 4th MTT to be made. OR even a tie bomber and tie interceptor.
C'mon lego you cant have an A-Wing without the tie interceptor. Or y-wing without the tie bomber
Actually i expected the AT-TE or the Republic Gunship on this list. But i think you wanted to focus on sets which actually show a development of their general design and build . Great list!
I hope we get an updated video! Cool selection!
Congrats on 50K subs!
I really like how they remade the figure for Grievous which makes me wonder why Lego doesn’t upgrade the battle droids like they did here with his legs having those thin ones he got which the battle droids could use a similar one so they have legs that are separated and not stuck together
Shinji Bing totally agree
Those clone trooper jetpacks in the corporate alliance tank look sick
Awesome video! 👍
Oh, man. I remember everything now. All the LEGO nostalgia. I remember cutting the tape to the box and pulling out all the separate bags with the numbers on them, and feeling that squeaky, almost sticky clean feel of the fresh LEGO plastic.
I need to buy some LEGO
The old desert skiff was my first lego set! Love that thing, very nostalgic
Just keep going! You are doing a great job!👍🙌
Love your channel! Subbed!
+Alex U. Gamin' Thank you!!
That old Abbas palace had two small sets that you bought separately and attached onto to get the full palace
I LOVE your videos!!!
Do you want to marry them too?
MandRproductions Ha Ha! Nice.
That's a no?
MandRproductions Can you plz. tell me how to start a Lego star wars chanel? When i whach your videos i want to start my own chanel...
I remember all of these as a kid. and loving them hahaha
That old Falcon causes physical pain when I remember it. The new ones are SO much better.
I love the way the falcon has Han and Leia from cloud city. I love those parts of the movie when they arrived at Bespin at sunset in the falcon
Your amazing UA-camr I watch you every day
This video makes me happy because I agree with all of the new sets
Don't know much about lego and I had gotten the millenium falcon and noticed the box looked different since it was the new one, this is good to know 😄
That desert skiff from 2012 was one of my first set
You can’t beat one aspect of the 2005 Tie Fighter... Nostalgia
The 2007 mtt was the first set I got as a kid that I never wanted to take apart and use the bricks for other things. I still have that set and it is one of the best things I own
I really hope that I can get the new Lego ucs millennium falcon next year but I probably can't hope to get it someday, nice video mandRproductions
You are one of the best Lego UA-camrs in my opinion
Should have done the B-wing I was hoping for it! But other than that sweet video man!!
I am a BIG HUGE snowspeeder fan because it has the tow cable. And a Millennium Falcon , TIE fighter , Death Star , At At, At St and Star Destroyer fan and I love all the star wars mini figures ever made
The later Jabba's palace had an add-on that you forgot to mention. You could get the Rancor pit and it was made to fit under the palace. This add-on scalability with separate sets is one of my favorite features of lego. Just wish they did the same thing with the Death Star. Release it in like 10+ separate sets that you collect and put all together once you have them all. A similar method to how they released Combiner Transformers back in the day. I cant afford a 500 dollar set all at once, but if you spread that out over a few sets, I can eventually get there.
I love your videos!
I got the 2017 desert skiff escape for christmas, Such a fan of Boba Fett, and with the new Han Solo and of course Chewie, I tgink it's worth every penny, great action features too!
Do a ranking of the advent calendars and thoughts on their contents please
I took that 2012 version of the tie fighter and kept the middle, but toook the two wings and remade it into a tie intercepter with no extra pieces, it looked good when i was done
The General Grievous Starfighter from 2010 looks much better than the original 2007 verison in my opinion!
Just thought I'd mention that the TIEs were in blue because they looked blue in the initial release of the film - it was one of the things which they fixed when they remastered then films and made the 'special' editions.
Your the best. Keep going!
The newest Naboo Starfighter, the 2014 Snowspeeder, and the newest Skiff, newest A-Wing are much better than even the new versions you used in the video.
I like how if you take the 2011 and 2017 skiff you get the two that were present with an additional boba fett
Cool video 😀
Oh man, this was a trip down Nostalgia lane.
Nice!
That Naboo Starfighter from 1999 was the firs Lego Star Wars Set I ever got. I must have been four or five years old at the time. I lost the Anakin figure when I took it to Kindergarten, but the original R2 is still around. Man this whole vid gets me nostalgic.
But I agree the 2007 one has more of them nice Curves :)
The darth Vader transformation set, got I remember that set. So much nostalgia
2 examples I can think of are the Pod Racers and the escape pod from A New Hope. I had the original 2 sets (pod racer wise, Anikan as a single set "$10 version") and they were good for 1999 but the pod racer had an awkward frame underneath and the escape pod barely held together due to 4 rounded shell walls and a flattened dome cap. New ones looked pretty good.
There was originally though, a trio of pod racers in the same set; Anikan, Sebulba and Gasgano which were much better detailed compared to Anikan's and Sebulba's as individual sets.
Love the millenium falcon one of my favourite sets to build
Best channel ever
For the snowspeeder I really wish they would allow for two mini figures to sit in like the movie. And for the Maul Sith Ship, it’s funny he put it on this list since I recall that he thought the new one was hideous in one of his worst Star Wars set videos
A wing was smaller than new ones (2013, 2017) but still awesome! ;) I always wanted this model
I have the old TIE-Bomber. It's very similar to the TIE-fighter with those weird blue bricks. Now I wonder how and if they upgraded the model.
Watching all these lego star wars videos recently is really making me regret my decisions as a kid when it came to what I wanted my parents to get me around Christmas time or my bday. In general I really was more of a medieval lego and Bionicle kid and I don't regret those at all. But more so the miscellaneous buying habits like getting a box of army men or action figures for a series I never actually cared about when I could've bought lego star wars. Now as a young adult who easily succumbs to childhood nostalgia for things I only ever saw as a kid I'm tempted to start collecting these sets and building them.
Time to spend countless hours on bricklink again...
+MandRproductions can you do top 10 Star Wars beast/ creature minifigures?
I don't know what it is about the 1999-2003 lego sets that just sticks out to me, but man I just love the old sets so much. Especially the MTT and Slave 1. I have two of the MTTs. I also love the OG millennium falcon, At-Te, and Gunship. With those old classic Clone Troopers, sadly I don't have the latter 3.
When are stores going to have the new sets from 2017 because I haven’t seen them like the jawa battlepack and those sets
Can you do a top 10 modular buildings?
I love the original MTT I of course Modified it a bit added a spoiler and turret. Maybe I'm just old school with it.
Ryan do you know if the new x-wing is from blue squadron from rogue one
I have the 2012 skiff set i got it for christmas one year and it is one of my favorites
Have you done a top 10 LEGO Star Wars Rebels sets?
Can you do a video on the best/worst Lego Star Wars creature molds
Who thinks lego should rerelease or remake the landra class imperial shuttle
So I'm thinking about building a moc of anch-to, where should I be getting the bricks from?
Hope you get to 100k soon
