Right , but suppose your area of expertise required less manual effort and went for automation, your employer is in firing mode and laid you off what are the options? Take some courses online which does not have accreditation ?
IIT Degree Cherry On the top hai, Skills toh tab bhi barhane honge, Udhar jo banda skillful hai aur IIT se hai toh woh le jayega job, Compared to the one who is just with Skills.

isn't it your fault to not score in IIT and not take a placement, why its worthless to do Mtech from IIT?
It definitely is, and this is all about my experience here. I share this because I am sure there so many people who don't think very rationally when such decisions are made. They might get help from my experience. Not all but many might.
Sir i am in Ramaiah Institute of technology Bangalore, in ECE branch 2nd year....
Though students here get descent packages in IT placement. For eg av package of my batch of senior is 8lpa...
But just for the sake of IIT i am thinking for preparation of GATE ECE....
should i opt for it or do focus on coding and placement...please guide
go for GATE it is far bettter than landing in 8lpa

Hi sir, i have one question. As in a video you adviced us to opt 3 extra subjects in first semester. So if i pick 3 major subjects of a branch like data science while currently studying in any other program, will i be able to sit in the major placements of data science?

What I meant was that many people do take up 3 extra subjects in first semester. Which is completely subjective matter and not that I am advising this to everyone. But Having said that, if you are taking these subjects, next step for you is to reach out to placement cell and just ensure that the data science companies allow students from your branch for placements since "few" of you are taking up data science courses
Why didn't you opt for MBA or M.Des?

Actually there was a column about whether the qualifying degree is from professional bodies.i marked it yes ..but in my case it would be No since iam msc maths...will it be a problem and they will correct it? Please tell
Hi Rishav, best option is to contact them for the correction through an email And if it is possible fill another form with a different phone number and email.

Hey Akash! All the very best for your interview. I distinctly remember that I went for IITD interview after half day at office. It was a green formal shirt and a black formal pants. Of course the office shoes black! For all interviews it was a constant formal attire that I donned.😎 Hope it helps!
