Well darn it. i should of built my Goblin 700 competition right wen i got it. funny how a new born baby can put a pause on things. LOL she is soon to be 7 years old and i finally started the build. today i finished the build on the 700 competition and i am really really happy on how easy and strait forward it is to build a Goblin compared to my first helis back when i started the hobby. this new flybarless helis are the best hands down, and Bert even though this video is almost a decade old it is still very helpful. thank you for the great tips and advice
Thanks Bert. Just a small comment on low RPM. Yes it wobbles around 1600-1700rpm with a tight head, but it flies like a charm below that. try it at 1400 or 1500 rpm. you'll get a nice 12min flight time like that.
thanks Bert for giving these tips I'm looking forward to building my Goblin 570 & hoping to have a good build. How about a video about wire placement especially with today's Flybarless units; because I feel that it's important &I don't know why maybe it's me but I feel that it can add to vibration problems. Again; unless I'm over concerned. Thanks again
Once again Bert you have shown your professionalism in supporting OEMs. Very well done and answers some questions I had for my 630.

Thanks, can't afford a goblin but this is great info for heli in general especially since I'm just starting out
Great video Bert
Good info and very well presented. Thanks.
NIce methode Bert, I still a waiting my Goblin 700E arrival in Indonesia...regards
Great, i've been waiting for this. Now i can pull the trigger and buy the 630. Cant wait for monday, woho :D
thanks bert, when u flying a outrage heli again? do you still work for them?
I have a goblin 500 sport that is used and there is on belt tensioner on my goblin is it missing.
Bert what's your recommendation for me as a fist time buyer SAB goblin product and what controller/transmmiter to buy?
I will be using a Spektrum DX8 on my new Goblin 700. Do you think that is necessary to ground wiring the tail to avoid any problem with electrostatic?
Great tips! Thanks answered several questions also.
Thanks Bert!
Really well done! - Many thanks - it was very useful.
How about one on flight setup for the Goblin :)
Thanks Bert this is extremely informative and helpful :)
Because of the magic sound at very low RPM and the beauty of inertia. But you are right after 1min I usually switch back to Idle 2 at 2300 rpm :D
could you guys, tell newbie like my self which transmitter is best for this type of helicopter
Lot of useful Infos, thanks for this shorty
I will not do 3D a head speed of 1300 will I tail strike happen? I will just use the heli for video and taking pics. Non aggressive flights
Don't you think his blades are a bit too tight as they would not swing out completely at spool up?
Great vid thanks.
will there be a 250 size coming out?????????that's what id like to know
does this apply to the g500 too?
Thx Bert :)
Thanks bert nice video
Do they have a rtf version goblin complete with a transmitter for sale i wouldn't mind paying the extra price.???
No
nice done great info liked the video
Top Job Bert ;)
thank you 😆 very helpful
God dammit, you're doing it right Bert!
Cant wait to build and fly mine ... id be posting the vid in non DFC rotorhead
Gracias.
No DFC!! I want to buy the goblin for Aerial photograph and video and I need low head speed about 1300-1500 rpm. This is a bummer.
Different people, different preferences.
you rock!
I gotta get me one.
haha i was only kidding he's a cool guy :)
LIKED
bert you go on like an old lady
HAhaha You're right ! He does :) He uses “common sense” a lot too!
but at that point you negate the entire performance of the aircraft...why would you want to fly a dog?
I think that I better just stick to airplanes!!
GeorgeBonez I know how you feel
BORING
can you smile?
