@@debrajoeledoux4287 I will try to work on this, but at the moment I can't update to Ventura, there are a lot of issue connected also with other apps. I'll therefore give some updates when apple release better updates and I am ready to install Ventura on my machines.

I have now bought a new MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip (MacOS 14.3.1). I have also installed the Nik Collection on my old MacBook Air 2018 (Intel processor) and everything is running fine (operating system is 13.6.4. ). Now I have copied the following folders over to my new Macbook: /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2024/Plug-ins/Google and in the "Applications folder" the complete folder "Nic Collection". When I now open Photoshop on my new MacBook Pro, I have no selection for the Nik Collection filters under Filters. If I right-click on Photoshop 2024 in the Applications folder and check the box "Open with Rosetta", I can finally see the Nik Collection again under Filters in Photoshop. If I now want to start a filter from it, a dialog box appears telling me that I should buy Nik Collection or that I can start a demo version (15 days). What can I do now? Do you have any ideas? For your information: Unfortunately, the function you show in this video does not work for me. I get the message again that it cannot be installed on the computer.
Sounds great. I guess now it's not working anymore, I tried and it changes nothing. Still says: you need 10.7 - but I have Ventura 13. Do you have any news?
I don't seem to get it to work on MacOS Ventura 13.0. Any hints?
I still didn't try to install Ventura... I will make an update if I find a work around, but at the moment I am a little scared to update because I run other software that might not work properly with Ventura

HI, I have Ventura M1 and this is not working for me. It looks like from comments below that you are working on it. Pretty cheesy of DxO in my opinion. Clearly they want to make money off of something that google gifted to consumers. I tried downloading from a different location and ended up with the same result. I will keep checking back. Thank you for making your explanation so easy.
I still couldn't figure it out. I think it will be more and more challenging to bring over the same version to the newest OS systems. I could do that for over 10 years but now it does not work :( ... Even though is sad that I paid for the DxO plugin when was released I think if there are no news, we all must consider buying the new version of the Plugin :(
@@Standbypics The new version of Nik tools is NOT as good as the OG. The bnw I get from Silver Efex Pro 2 just blows everything away. I am ready to pay for it , just to make it work on Sonoma.

Dipende, questa soluzione non funziona se hai gia' installato Ventura OS nel tuo pc. Devo capire come fare per l'installazione in questo caso. Se usi una versione vecchia di MAC OS, mandami un video di quello che succede che ci do' uno sguardo, puoi registrare un video free usando LOOM. la mia email e' fabio@standbypics.com

Hi Fabio, thanks for the info, unfortunately it didn't work on my Mac OS Monterey. I installed it properly. But when I use in Photoshop 2021 by selective tools brush , small screen appears saying "you are in the selective editing mode. Click discard or apply to return to photoshop' normal" So I can't apply brush work. Kindly say the solution of this.
Hi Tapas, Thanks a lot for your message :) I didn't try with Monterey. I use Big Sur and over there everything works well. I will update you once I have some time to upgrade to the new version. Me pasó lo mismo. Instala todo perfecto. Me emocioné, pero después el photoshop no lo reconoce :(. También tengo mac Monterrey.

When I enter the code I get the following message: The file /Volumes/Nik Collection 1/Nik Collection.app/Nik Collection.app does not exist. thanks for the video. I have a problem. the installation was ok, and the nik runs. but when I click ok, photoshop was frozen and I must restart photoshop. any ideas.
Yes! That happened to me too.. Try to run the nik collection from the widget instead of the top menu. In that case, at least to me, the plugin worked well. Let me know if that worked out!

Duplicate the layer you want to edit. Open it in z. Color Effect. At the bottom left there is a Settings button. Go to the button: AFTER CLICKING OK. Now choose the setting: the filter will be applied to the current layer. Then OK.

I am unable to get to the screen that you show at 2:00/6:22 for the dxo website, or to another screen on the dxo website that mentions the 2012 free version. Is there an alternate website?
I found a new link here archive.org/details/nikcollection-full-1.2.11, but I don't know if that is official. It seems they took it out from their website. I recommend scanning the files after downloads if you use this link. I don't know how much is secured.
@@Standbypics Thanks Fabio, but when I use the link to download the NIK collection, it gives me the screen that you show at 2:12/6:22, with no choice of opening using the terminal command. Do you have any suggestions?
@@glennmccreery2780 If you already upgraded to OS Ventura, it is probably not working. I still couldn't get it to work there, this method works with Monterey and Big Sur...

Hi Guido. I had the same error. It might be related to the option selected when you click the right button. You can see it at 6:22 . It should be the option before the last in the list (New terminal at folder). If you open from there the command works. I hope this helps.

Hi! If you have a M processor you would need to run photoshop under rosetta, otherwise the plugin cannot work. if you check my other video I explain how to do that. For the M1 the only possibility is to run photoshop with Rosetta.. this is slowing down performance, but you can still using it. Hope this helps:)
