Me n the hubby love the Max8, there so much quieter and smoother than the 800s, we flew out to Gran Canaria on G-TUMK on the 17th h June from EMA and couldn’t believe the difference, it was a bit squeaky bum time when we landed in Las Palmas as it was very windy and there was a bit of rocking and swaying lol, came back on an 800 and it was so noisy and he landed it with a right thud, the F word echoed around the cabin when we landed lol, can’t wait to go back to Fuerteventura next year and do some plane spotting, great video yet again Sam.xx

How was tenerife? With all the locals not wanting tourists. Did you encounter any problems, or was it ok? I feel like the more they dont want tourist...the more that will turn up, lol. Im off to benidorm next friday, me and my fella...no kids. Only our second holiday together without kids in 21 years 😂 also great video as usual
Tenerife was fine, also its not the locals, its the Canary's Government wanting the massive chains to give back into the local economy as the islands infrastructure is at breaking point and can't hold any more for local housing as the island only holds a Max of 1M people. Locals will welcome brits with open arms, otherwise there wouldn't be a Tenerife. I hope you have a great time in Benidorm. Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoyed!
@TTENetwork ahh OK, i read something in the paper about the holding signs up saying tourist go home. Although I have also read about waiters living in shacks as all the prices have gone up etc. Thanks for getting back to me and providing me with proper information. We will have a great time. Can't wait for more videos, they get me ready for going away lol x
Another slightly different flight from Tenerife by Sam. A night flight but by no means lacking in very enjoyable details, notably a beautiful sunrise and a clear-sky approach into MAN with many illuminated landmarks visible. Also an interesting view of the cabin of a 737-MAX8 and the mood lighting which changed colour to reflect the sunrise. Smartlynx operating for TUI was clearly an unusual experience but one that Sam clearly approved of.

Its a beautiful view isnt it, when above the clouds and you have that orange glow lighting up the sky. So peacful!
