Watched this the night before, and the morning of the test. I passed! Thank you for being able to give me some laughter while reviewing. I’m hoping to pass the 7 next and become an RR. Less than a year ago I was a cashier, who just got their GED the day they turned 18. Now I’m gonna make history! Thanks for giving me a laugh when I really needed it. Much love ❤
I passed my SIE, series 7 & 66 all within the last few months and I greatly thank you for making these awesome videos!! They really helped to reinforce the information.
Passed my SIE today!!! I read through the Kaplan book completely and made sure to take very detailed notes. Then, tried to do a practice exam, and realized that I know barely anything. Once I discovered your channel concepts and rules actually started to make sense for me! I could have not done it with you and the prayers of my friends and family! Unto the 7!
I passed my SIE today, 1st try! Found your videos this week and solidified what I have learned from Kaplan’s review materials! Thank you! On to SIE 6! 🎉🎉
I found these SIE videos just two weeks ago and passed today… on my THIRD attempt. So lucky I found this channel and also unlucky I didn’t find them sooner haha. Thank you Ken!
Like a mother of 8 military kids. Ken, Keep up the special forces work! If you were a Marine, you would be Force Recon, and if you were Air Force, you would be a Paramedic rescue jumper!
WOW so glad I found this guy. Ken - you are SO much easier and more pleasant to learn from than the sloths on some of the Kaplan videos I watched. I subscribed and will share your videos. THANK YOU.
I passed my SIE exam on the first try this past Thursday. I watched this video literally the night before, and I kid you not at least two of these questions came up on the test. I used the pass perfect curriculum, but I found myself processing the different answers to the questions this way while taking the exam. Thank you so much for making these videos, truly grateful for people like you helping us out.
Ken, I’ve been watching your videos for a little over a month now. Plan on testing for SIE in early March. I totally see myself dropping F bombs in my head while testing 😂😂😂 thanks!!
Just took and passed the SIE a few hours ago (first try). I am very grateful for your content - thank you for giving back, you are helping a lot of people, myself included! Thank You, Thank YOU!
Ken brother!! I passed my SIE yesterday on my first try and your videos helped me so damn much it’s insane. I had only 2 weeks and it’s crazy what binge watching your videos can do. I will be hitting u up in a month to do some private tutoring for my 66.

Passed the SIE on the first try today, watched all of your practice tests and this one last night. I really found it helpful how you explained concepts that were difficult to understand from just the book. Thanks Ken!
I did watch it at 0.75 speed. English is my second language. And I wanted to try to answer the quaetions myself before hearing explanation/confirmation. Thank you.

In question 36, What would the explanation be to why do you multiply 101.125 x 10 to determine bone price? I understand that after this you multiply by 10 bc question is asking for 10 bonds price. But the first multiplication by 10 is the one my question is about.
Great video, interesting to note question 54 at 42:36 is on Finra's practice SIE as well but it says that call protection is most valuable to a bondholder when rates are rising. I assume it was just a mistake in their quiz?
Hey Ken! Just discovered this video. Love the content. I am taking my SIE on Thursday while using pass perfect as my study material (sponsored through Fidelity). I have been studying for 5 weeks now and it seems that PassPerfect has super nitpicky questions compared to some other exam material I have seen. Is this common? And is the SIE relatively “easier” in terms of testing on the basic concepts and not going in too much depth? Thanks!

For question 49, why are we dividing by 32? My kaplan book does not go over this, with the book only showing the formula and a few examples that don't do this. Thanks!
I used Kaplan to study and did not see a question presented like #25. I understand how to get CY by dividing total annual income/CMV, but what does a bond trading at “101-25” mean? Can someone explain that part?
Hi. I take my test October 14th. Is this still pretty close to how the SIE test is or did they make any changes? I know the T+1 change. But anything else? Thank you in advance
Question… I’m self studying for the SIE which I’m scheduled to take this coming Saturday (not sponsored yet, but currently interviewing with JPM). I read online that CE requirements changed for 2023 and are now required annually (vs within 120 of 2nd anniversary and every 3 years after that). My book appears to be outdated and doesn’t state the new changes that I read about… Can you confirm whether these changes are accurate or whether the previous CE requirements still apply to todays SIE exams as of May 9th, 2023?
They say it should be on there by now, but the good thing is they won’t ask you both. Meaning, they won’t have both choices on there. It’ll either be the annual new rules or the old rules.
@@Series7Exam ah ok. Well that helps alleviate the anxiety. Your videos have been extremely helpful during my studying this past week. Thanks for making these and your reply!

Yes because the quote is 110.125% of 1000 so multiply by 10 to get the actual bond price. Or just move the decimal 2 spaces to the right

On question 25 about current yield, where is the “32” coming from and what does the “-25” mean?
All treasures are quoted in 32s. They won’t type out 32. So the decimal or dash implies it’s in 32. So -25. Means 25/32

101-25 how is that 101.781? in the video 23:14 I am missing a point. Can someone please explain?
If you see a decimal or a dash it’s a treasury and you must divide the 25/32. 25/32=.781. Then add the 101 to get 101.781
