I think people forget just how short these fights are in this series. The breaks are messing with peoples sense of time and progression. *Most* 1 on 1 fights in this series are 2-4 chapters, until either a different phase happens or some event changes it. In recent memory. The last deku and shigaraki fight was two chapters. And many thought it was too short. The todoroki and dabi fight was also 2 chapters and many thought the same thing before dabi woke up. Now this final fight has been 4 chapters long. And people have already begun to say it’s dragging on. The biggest reason is because irl it’s been over 2 months, instead of just under 1. The fight isn’t dragging, it’s just taking time for the chapters to come out compared to other series. Before toga’s death, I read though the arc again instead of week to week, and it was much better in comparison for me. Story arcs are like puzzles, each chapter is a piece that lets you see a greater part of the whole, but some pieces are shaped different, some pieces don’t immediately connect to the one just placed down and instead connect to another. But the end result, the whole is usually still a very good picture and you can appreciate the process in retrospect. If you generally hate the series. I wouldn’t use sunk cost fallacy. Investing time into a week by week series and stopping isn’t the same as walking out of a theater you paid for or stepping away from a project that would actually matter. If this arc so far, rather if this *final act* so far, as a whole hasn’t been enjoyable to you in the slightest, it’s ok to drop. If you do still enjoy or find interest in it, I think it would help a lot to think about the parts you don’t like and compare them to why other people do like them and vice versa. It’s made me both appreciate things about it more as well as opened my eyes to problems I have with it. My own interpretation of every story ain’t perfect and seeing people actually talk about it is worthwhile. Remember these are just entertainment stories and no two people will always 100% find the exact same things entertaining or otherwise

It’s honestly getting really fucking annoying that all the manga/anime UA-camrs got called out for spoilers and clickbait in the title and thumbnails, so now they just do the same shit but with fake spoilers
I predict that this will be where we see AFO give tenko decay, if that isn’t just supposed to remain implicit. Since these memories are from different angles, we may get a close up of the face of the man who brought tenko home. At the very least this would give an even greater understanding to deku. The main problem that shigaraki pointed out here and before is that deku doesn’t understand him, heroes don’t understand, and that is the reason. But through one for all being passed between them. Because vestiges can see memories, it allows deku and shigaraki to actually understand each other. I think this is our first biggest step to how tenko will be saved

In 5th edition, sure. In other editions you can do common sense things like disperse fog/mist/smoke with gusts of wind, or using an action to wave it away

Did shiggy forget he can mix quirks, like whem he mixed air cannon with the decay quirk to spread instant killing dust particles across the city, oh wait that would body deku instantly Search quirk ability was to know your opponent weakness snd where they are 24/7, combined with danger sense = end of the anime. The mangaka kinda forgot shigiraki can....combine quirk and doesnt have a fixation on one for all, so he could win this.

The battle has been happening for at most an hour in-universe. Deku has been fighing for maybe 8 minutes since he had to get from that island to UA, gearshift allows like 5 minutes before he can't breathe, and he probably can't hold his breath for more than a minute or 2 while fighting. Shgaraki was modified to have a perfect body which includes basically unlimited stamina.
Basically what the comments are telling me is that they want hori to rush the pacing of this final battle. Resulting in a worse reader experiment. Some of yall plain stupid. Same people complaining that hori was rushing to the ending are now complaining that the final battle is the longest battle yet. ITS THE FUCKING FINAL FIGHT LMAO.
The discussion around MHA is almost always petty and hate filled these days. Either it's moving too fast,or moving too slow. People can't make up their minds because they just wanna look for any reason to drag it through the mud these days.
So the final fight is pretty much confirmed to be in their soul corridors from the way this chapter was showing things well that's cool let's see if it's true and if it would mean the death of Shigaraki and the rescue of Shimura
I was surprised the plan actually worked. I almost thought Shiggy was going to use Search and already know about the recoil side-effect of Gearshift since Search senses weaknesses.
Why are people’s complaints so contradictory to each other? This whole final arc I’ve seen some that makes sense. But generally most of it has been stuff that either ignores what the series is trying to do/has done. Or arguing opposite things to each other. I get people not liking the series by preference for something different though

That being said can you give some specifics with you reply to me? I was saying that some criticisms make sense but many I see are very contradictory to others or ignore things prior. There’s a consensus that the series is bad but those reasons go against either each other go beyond just preference
The whole gotta give shigaraki all the quirks thing is such a contrived ass pull of a narrative. Deku should have just over come him in battle and won there is no part of this world they are in where shigraki could be redeemed after all he has done and he would be universally feared and hated even if his dark side got erased. Killing him in battle after all this is the most merciful thing that could be done by Deku. I consider it lazy writing and a complete ass pull.

The battle has been happening for at most an hour in-universe. Deku has been fighing for maybe 8 minutes since he had to get from that island to UA, gearshift allows like 5 minutes before he can't breathe, and he probably can't hold his breath for more than a minute or 2 while fighting. Shgaraki was modified to have a perfect body which includes basically unlimited stamina.

That being said can you give some specifics with you reply to me? I was saying that some criticisms make sense but many I see are very contradictory to others or ignore things prior. There’s a consensus that the series is bad but those reasons go against either each other go beyond just preference
