TayNew Offgun maybe official ship but gmmtv saw opportunity in Taygun friendship and used them to get money. All beluca concerts were under Taygun. Currently TayNew is building their fandom again but Offgun even their series nolonger trending because most fans left them when Gun stop being close with Off and went to do skinship with Tay. You’re missing the point, it’s the extreme ‘fan service’ that’s disturbing on so many levels. This only happens in Thailand & Taiwan, western actors are not required to pretend to be romantically interested in their costars in order to promote a movie/TV series. They have regulations in place that protects the actors from being taken advantage of financially as well as their personal lives. They give interviews discussing the message of the movie/TV series, their characters etc. They don’t have to play suggestive games or talk about their personal lives & especially not attend extreme fan service events in order for companies to make money selling merchandising & advertisements. Both the companies & fans are at fault for taking advantage of these actors, fan service should be banned as for the companies it’s about making money & for fans it’s to entertain them, yet there’s no thought given to the effects it has on the actors private lives or their real life partners. It’s just wrong!

It is a vicious cycle. The actors feed the fan with what they crave for: romance and fantasy and the fan gives the actors fame but when the actors get what they wanted from fans they change their attitude. If they were themselves from the beginning and do Proper fan services during events to promote the series that they are promoting then go on with their lives afterwards. Japan and Korea do proper fan service. Do events, some cute videos but they never pretend to be a couple. Taiwan does major fan service But the fans are different. I don't know if it's a cultural thing but I never hear delulu fans going crazy over ships in Taiwan. (Maybe it's just me?) Most of the delulu fans are very young and they don't think. Most teens (Not all of them of course) are in love with love. The level of maturity is -10. And it's normal, it's part of growing but the Production companies and actors use this to their advantage. First I want to say that the private personal lives of actors and entertainers should not be any of our business. Everyone is human here. Everyone has their own feelings and their own connections. We as fans need to respect boundaries and need to keep the fact that entertainers are real people. Respect the boundaries: what is personal is personal, and what is professional is professional. Now for my own musings: As someone that primarily grew up within the American community I have found the BL entertainers skinship interesting as that’s not something I have been exposed to. I have been interested in how friends can be so affectionate, touchy, kissing etc with each other, openly displaying a comfort with each other and how my own cultural viewpoint has me not able to decipher this very affectionate display of simply close friends. I also find it interesting how people connect to each other and how we as fans can get so invested in these working relationships and possible personal friendships and whatever more. As someone that enjoys BL dramas, and yes watched online content, I do not buy into the entire “ finding love on the set crossover to personal real life love.” The only time I believe a working CP are in a real romantic committed relationship is when they themselves talk about it and share their love for each other as romantic partners. The love of friends is one thing and the love of true romantic couple is another. Love is Love in all its forms, whether romantic, friendship, family or co-workers. Fans need to respect boundaries.

You’re missing the point, it’s the extreme ‘fan service’ that’s disturbing on so many levels. This only happens in Thailand & Taiwan, western actors are not required to pretend to be romantically interested in their costars in order to promote a movie/TV series.
They have regulations in place that protects the actors from being taken advantage of financially as well as their personal lives. They give interviews discussing the message of the movie/TV series, their characters etc. They don’t have to play suggestive games or talk about their personal lives & especially not attend extreme fan service events in order for companies to make money selling merchandising & advertisements.
Both the companies & fans are at fault for taking advantage of these actors, fan service should be banned as for the companies it’s about making money & for fans it’s to entertain them, yet there’s no thought given to the effects it has on the actors private lives or their real life partners.

The actors feed the fan with what they crave for: romance and fantasy and the fan gives the actors fame but when the actors get what they wanted from fans they change their attitude. If they were themselves from the beginning and do Proper fan services during events to promote the series that they are promoting then go on with their lives afterwards. Japan and Korea do proper fan service. Do events, some cute videos but they never pretend to be a couple. Taiwan does major fan service But the fans are different. First I want to say that the private personal lives of actors and entertainers should not be any of our business. Everyone is human here. Everyone has their own feelings and their own connections. We as fans need to respect boundaries and need to keep the fact that entertainers are real people. Respect the boundaries: what is personal is personal, and what is professional is professional.
Now for my own musings: As someone that primarily grew up within the American community I have found the BL entertainers skinship interesting as that’s not something I have been exposed to. I have been interested in how friends can be so affectionate, touchy, kissing etc with each other, openly displaying a comfort with each other and how my own cultural viewpoint has me not able to decipher this very affectionate display of simply close friends.
I also find it interesting how people connect to each other and how we as fans can get so invested in these working relationships and possible personal friendships and whatever more.
As someone that enjoys BL dramas, and yes watched online content, I do not buy into the entire “ finding love on the set crossover to personal real life love.” The only time I believe a working CP are in a real romantic committed relationship is when they themselves talk about it and share their love for each other as romantic partners. The love of friends is one thing and the love of true romantic couple is another.
Love is Love in all its forms, whether romantic, friendship, family or co-workers.
