One would agree it’s impossible to say no to an opportunity like the S&P ETFs. However, mixing in some other assets is how to do it in reality. The market has been great, I’m surfing the AI wave into the next few decades
New to investing, have done lots of research, wondering if you had/have an advisor when starting out. I am struggling to decide what to invest in with a fair capital. I am sticking to buy limits. However, getting tired of checking my phone everyday. I have cash to deploy but not sure whether to dollar-cost-average. Or go bullish on stocks I believe in. Any advice from anyone would be much appreciated.

Investing in AI trading has been a game-changer for me! I was skeptical at first, but once I saw the results, I was amazed. The AI algorithm has consistently outperformed my own trading decisions, and I've seen a significant increase in my profits. But it's not just about the money - it's about the freedom and peace of mind that comes with knowing my investments are being managed by a cutting-edge technology. I used to spend hours analyzing charts and news, trying to make sense of the markets. But now, I can focus on what matters most to me, while the AI takes care of my trading. I've gained more time, reduced my stress levels, and achieved financial stability. I'm so grateful for this technology, and I can't recommend it enough! If you're hesitant, I understand, but trust me, it's worth exploring. AI trading has truly changed my life, and I'm confident it can do the same for you!"
Could you imagine if we had these stock platforms on our cellphone. All growing up I just did or took what my work offered for retirement, but now young kids can get started right away..I thought I had to pay a brokerage a ton of money to do this for me...We just didn't have it this easy...We would be Billionaires if we had this in the 80s..lol
This has been the most comprehensive investing for beginners videos I have ever watched. Thank you for sharing this information and including tools for everyone to utilize for FREE!

In my 20s. I’ve watched a lot of finance videos and I’m [almost] debt free. I paid to take another popular UA-camr’s investing course. & yet I still felt like I needed to know a little more before moving my money somewhere. After 2 videos you made me feel confident that I can get set up today! 🎉
2:14 hello Steve! Thank you for all the valuable information. If I’m investing in my companies 401k with match would you suggest I also open a Roth IRA? I’m over 50, so I’m interested in investing maximum amount but I don’t have 30 yrs. If I only have about 15 yrs does that mean should have 500,000?
Yes, once you've maxed out the 401k, max out your Roth IRA next, keep income limits in mind. Once you've maxed those, find a HYSA you like or lock some funds in high yield CDs.

Steve what are all of the accts you have? Also My kids are 4 and 5 year old and I want to take they're money that's in a regular savings and put it in a acct where they're money will grow
Hi Steve! I bought my first 2 shares. 1 SPY and 1 VOO but after watching your video I didn’t realize I need to stick one S&P500. How do I sell or trade my VOO for a SPY to avoid being redundant. Please advise.
Hi steve I live in Europe, Ihave some shares in voo and vgt but now its impossible for us to invest in these American etfs. Can you suggest a good ETF like voo for European pls?
Hello! Just wanna know is it fine to deposit and invest around $100 a month? I know the invest amounts difference matters but wanna know what the invest amount difference can make any differences? Thanks
Generally they are all very similar. Pick the one native to your brokerage as it will likely have the smallest fees for you. Outside of that, they are all extremely similar.
Hi Steve great video for beginners, im ready to start but i have a question I have 150k in stocks in my old company i used to work for how do i move that over to a roth ira or should i leave it in because i get divideds from it every 3 months Thank you
If I have access to contribute to an employer Roth 403b should I still open my own Roth IRA? Already contributing 20% to my employer sponsored 401k as well.
I think U couldn’t open Roth IRA as I don’t have earned income but only disability benefits. Should I just open a regular account but be taxed at the end? Thanks
I’m Currently debt free and would like to make money. Just started Voo in a Roth IRA and plan to do maximum a year into it. Debating on doing a taxable brokerage as well with it
Hi Steve! I'm in my 40's, would the recommendation be the same to buy 1 share of S&P 500 per month? Also, do you ever sell these shares or just let them compound interest over the next 30 years?
I have been using betterment for my Roth IRA - my understanding is that they automatically buy assests and my only responsibility is my monthly contribution. Is that correct? Sorry, I'm a bit confused about whether or not I am using this account correctly. Hope you can clarify. Thanks!
Steve you are appreciated. QUESTIONS: I have a lump sittings in a rollover that has not been invested. Is it best practice to by invest the lump all at once or beak it up the investing over a period of time? Thanks 🤝
Thanks Monica! It depends on your risk tolerance. Some people will invest the lump sum all at once because they don't mind the volatility of the markets in the long term. Some people may like to invest little by little (dollar cost average) because they want to average in the price as the markets fluctuate.
I personally like schd, but it depends on your goals. S&p is generally going to grow more and faster. But if you are retiring soon, then converting to dividends will help you earn more cash flow without needing to sell off underlying assets. Personally, all of my retirement accounts are in s&p, or cap style funds because they have low costs and grow fast, and I'm not anywhere near retirement yet. My brokerage acct though is all dividend based, because I might use it for cash flow if times get tough, so it is a sort of 3rd household income for us... Not a large one, but better than nothing. But because it is a normal brokerage, I do need to pay taxes on that income whether I reinvest it or use it, so come tax season I need to be mindful of that. Lota to consider though, and depends on your goals and plans.
Can i buy ETF for max of $200T at the start and 5T every month for the next 5 years and start withdrawing dividends from it. How much would that be? Thank you Steve. I am so proud of you. Your mom and I have the same age.
Hello Steve, first of all, I really like your videos and they are very easy to understand. I do have a question though, why is it not a good idea to split up the money into a couple more ETFs? Is it a better idea when you are not putting all the eggs in one basket? Though like you said, they are essentially the same, but some returns are slightly higher than the others. I split my roth ira monthly buy in SCHD, VOO and QQQ, can you please help me to understand better? Thank you very much in advance!
What if i started opening a brokerage account and I have only $50 in there initially and i set a recurring $50 every 2 weeks. Can I buy 1 share of SPY with that amount? I see that SPY is 505.3 per share. Can you guide me here please.
Steve, can you make a video about custodian Roth IRA? I want to open one for my young daughter but don't know what is required since she is too young to make income.
Hi Steve, I contribute to a 403 B at my work. Will it be better to invest in an individual brokerage account since I don’t qualify to a Roth IRA? Thank you.
On the Roth IRA - is that ok for students that don't have an income but are receiving a stipend from a college savings account? Won't they have to pay taxes ok their contributions? (Even still with paying taxes, isn't it the best option?)
I agree do a video for those of us that are older. I have a SEP IRA, individual stocks, mutual funds, real estate apt buildings, a home and a bunch of assets. Even so, I find your videos interesting. Can I find your book on Amazon?
Hi love your content. I have a question regarding ETF. Is it better to pick 1-2 ETF to invest? I currently have 4 and I feel like it will take a longer time to grow all 4.
Hi Jeremy! You can keep it simple and start with 1-2 ETFs and slowly build your position from there. A lot of these ETFs have overlapping components (ex. MSFT, AAPL, AMZN, GOOGL) and you can see what companies or sectors you would like to have a larger allocation in based on your comfort level.
A lot of these funds have overlapping components (ex. MSFT, AAPL, COST, AMZN, GOOGL). You just want to see how much of an emphasis you want within different companies or sectors in the market.
Steve, absolutely love your channel. it's only a matter of time before i become a client! question, i opened my high yield savings with sofi. i noticed i can open a roth IRA with them too but they're not one of your recommendations for Roth IRA. i am a creature of habit and prefer to have one account but do you recommend i open my Roth with one of your favorites rather than sofi? Second question: when i fund my roth IRA with $7000, is that the money i am using to purchase my EFTs or is that an additional deposit to invest? TIA!
It doesn't work that way since this is based on an exponential function. However, you can invest in two assets a month and have double in 30 years. Does that make sense?
If we buy 1 share of SPY per month using a brokerage account, how much capital gain tax do I have to pay if I withdraw the fund after 30 years? Is it wise for people who are over 50 to use this 1-1-1 method? Thank you.
Hi Steve, could there be an error in your ebook and money cheat sheet link"? The link isn't working for me. I have a question as well. I'm 47 and need to get started. I like the idea of a Roth but some years I make more than 161 and others less than 161. Therefore, could it make sense to have both an Individual and Roth for the years I make less than 161? Also, sort of curious how I should go about figuring when to purchase assets. Meaning, could purchasing 12 shares of SPY (for example) once a year after knowing my income for that year create less wealth or is okay to use the monthly auto invest in a Roth and somehow correct it after knowing what I made that year? Thanks in advance, very happy to have come across your teachings!
If the price of SPY goes up 10 percent by year on average, 500 dollars won't be enough to get a share in 30 years. As I know, Roth IRA has limits on yearly contributions so how will that work in the future?
Great point! Roth IRA contribution limits should increase over time. Also, as the price of a share gets higher, it may have a split in the future. The whole idea here is to contribute and invest around $500 a month, and slowly work up from there. If you don't have enough to buy one whole share this month, you can save up to buy a share when you do have enough. My goal is to keep things simple for beginners by giving them a goal of just buying around 1 share every 1 month. Hope this helps!

Love it! Keep it simple, buy things you understand, take some risk but don’t try to shoot the lights out.
Great advice here. I just hit ~$1m in stock profits from finding inefficiently priced small cap companies to buy :)
How do you do it? I put in a fair amount over a year ago but I’m barely breaking even, I am afraid my first attempts were kind of tentative

I’m Currently debt free and would like to make money. Just started Voo in a Roth IRA and plan to do maximum a year into it. Debating on doing a taxable brokerage as well with it
Awesome! I have a lot of friends and family that have a combination of both!
Hi Steve! I'm in my 40's, would the recommendation be the same to buy 1 share of S&P 500 per month? Also, do you ever sell these shares or just let them compound interest over the next 30 years?
I have the same question.
@calltoleap I wanted to follow up here :)
Warren Buffet method: Never sell! Let it compound
Really appreciate your beginner masterclass. Thank you🙏😊
I'm glad you found it helpful!
So, if you only have 15 - 18 years left to retirement and just starting to invest...do you buy two shares a month, to make up for lost time?
Yes, you can buy as many shares as you want to make up for the missed years. I would buy more than 1 share a month if I could afford it.
Can you talk about investing in dividend etf like schd?
Hi steve why do you not suggest a more diverse strategy? i.e bonds/ stocks
Hi Steve, do you recommend buying SPY every month using Robinhood?
Please advise
What if i started opening a brokerage account and I have only $50 in there initially and i set a recurring $50 every 2 weeks. Can I buy 1 share of SPY with that amount? I see that SPY is 505.3 per share. Can you guide me here please.
Hi, what about SPLG as the fund to purchase
Steve, can you make a video about custodian Roth IRA? I want to open one for my young daughter but don't know what is required since she is too young to make income.
Hi Steve, I contribute to a 403 B at my work. Will it be better to invest in an individual brokerage account since I don’t qualify to a Roth IRA? Thank you.
On the Roth IRA - is that ok for students that don't have an income but are receiving a stipend from a college savings account? Won't they have to pay taxes ok their contributions? (Even still with paying taxes, isn't it the best option?)
Thoughts on SPUS ETF? (Shariah-compliant S&P 500). Thanks in advance.
I can do the buying myself, I supposed. Is it better to get an investment broker for advice and do the buying for me?
I agree do a video for those of us that are older. I have a SEP IRA, individual stocks, mutual funds, real estate apt buildings, a home and a bunch of assets. Even so, I find your videos interesting. Can I find your book on Amazon?
It's free in my description and on my website! Enjoy!
Great videos. I just found your channel mega like !!!
STEVE, YOU ARE WELL APPRECIATED 😊
Hi Steve, what is the difference between FXAIX and SPY?
Thanks for the video, Steve. Is FXAIX and SPY a same thing?
How do you rec differentiating between different brokerage equivalents (ie. FXIAX as opposed to VOO/VTI)?
A lot of these funds have overlapping components (ex. MSFT, AAPL, COST, AMZN, GOOGL). You just want to see how much of an emphasis you want within different companies or sectors in the market.
If you use Fidelity go with FXAIX. Its expense ratio is crazy low. 0.01 i believe.
Very useful topic. Kids should be taught in high schools before heading to college. Thank you for your dedication, Steve! Keep up your good work!
I have a VOO & VTI do i keep both?
Steve, absolutely love your channel. it's only a matter of time before i become a client! question, i opened my high yield savings with sofi. i noticed i can open a roth IRA with them too but they're not one of your recommendations for Roth IRA. i am a creature of habit and prefer to have one account but do you recommend i open my Roth with one of your favorites rather than sofi? Second question: when i fund my roth IRA with $7000, is that the money i am using to purchase my EFTs or is that an additional deposit to invest? TIA!
I am not sure if you did a video about which dividend stocks are worth investing.
How about SPLG? Is it a good buy?
Whats the difference between SPLG and SP500
Thank you for the great information sir.
Wow I'm really glad people are tapping from this new AI algorithm investment.
@guidenext2204 what are you investing in stocks, crypto or currencies??
Here to learn!
Here to share! 🙂
Can we double this? So buy two assets a month and make the million in 15 years instead of 30? Or does it not work like that? Thank you.
It doesn't work that way since this is based on an exponential function. However, you can invest in two assets a month and have double in 30 years. Does that make sense?
Can you make a video on different etf’s with different dividends? Also, can we sell covered calls on SPY?
How can I get your book, or where can I buy one
If we buy 1 share of SPY per month using a brokerage account, how much capital gain tax do I have to pay if I withdraw the fund after 30 years? Is it wise for people who are over 50 to use this 1-1-1 method? Thank you.
If you invest in a Roth IRA, it will be tax and penalty free at 59.5.
Could you please give an example for Canadians?
I usually like to dollar cost average and buy a couple of shares at the beginning of each month.
Great video… can you do a compare on SPY vs. SPLG
Sure!
Explain to me please why you prefer spy over voo. They seem exactly the same except voo charges less so is better.
Hi Peter! Both are great! SPY has higher liquidity/volume than VOO.
Another Great lesson * from a former school 🏫🎒 teacher 🎉🎉🎉
@@CalltoLeap thank you for taking the time to reply. Great video!
What’s the difference between QQQM and just QQQ.
How do i sign up to open the account for my kids?
You can look into them in different brokerages, like Fidelity and Schwab.
This is a great video.
Glad you think so!
What if I dont make much like 583, how much do I put in, I only have about 400 per paycheck every 2 weeks
Have you tried using AI for your investment trust me is life changing experience
Wow. Thanks for sharing this great information with us
You got it Ivan!
Can I rollover a roth ira into a new fidelity Roth ira, about $8k, and buy s&p etf shares with it?
Thoughts?
Thank you
Yep! You can totally do a full account transfer!
Will this work if i'm in the uk?
Hey Steve, my employers has really bad ETF allocations in 401k, should I avoid investing with my employer's 401k and go for a traditional roth ira?
Hmmm what do you mean by bad? Are they charging you a high management fee that’s above 1%?
@@CalltoLeap Yes
Can I choose Webull as a brokerage? Thanks.
I don't get it. If one pays the max per month for the IRA, why is it necessary to buy a share every month?
