I had to sing this song for my church’s Christmas program. I played Mary and this was my solo. It was the first time that I sang a full song up front, alone!

To me, this song, isn't just for Christmas time, listening in June it is a helping hand in my time of trials and asking why I was sent to do this task at hand. To me Its a song for strength and that's exactly what it gives me. Rejuvination and strength that if Mary can endure all she went through with God's help, so can I, with His help, handel my trials and do what He asks me to do. Go where he asks me to go.

This holds such a special place in my heart. God gave me the opportunity to be Mary at my school s Christmas program and it changed my life. I am 14 and Mary was 14 when she gave birth to the SON OF GOD! She was so strong, and God gave her the strength to say Yes. I always get so emotional when I sing this and hear it. Thank You Lord for everything:)

Can you imagine the humble woman child..the hand maid of the Lord..trying to understand WHY God chose her of all women! Then the fear of could she do it. But knowing if she asked God to help her..asking the Holy Spirit ( Breath of Heaven) to be with her and guide her! The wonder, faith, love and trust that such a young woman had in the face of such an enormous and world changing event that was on her shoulders..in her womb! If only I could have such faith! Jesus! I trust in you!

I like the song but the singer is another thing. Amy Grant used to be one of my favorite singers until she & Vince Gill broke up their families. They both denied & denied that they had committed adultery, claiming instead that they only started sleeping together when both were separated. Poor Janice Gill, on the other hand, when asked the truth said that one day, tidying house, Vince's briefcase had fallen over & a bunch of letters were on the floor & hanging half in & half out of the briefcase. As she went to put them back, she realised that they were all letters in a female's hand. They turned out to be from Amy to Vince & they left nothing to the imagination. Amy left her children, Vince also left his until the divorces were finalized. Amy is still lying about when & how & it gave Janice no "kicks" to admit the mess that her marriage had become, before she even knew it was in trouble!

Vince and Janice Gill had trouble in their marriage also they just didn't air their dirty laundry to everyone. People get married and divorced. My ex cheated on me with a married couple. (He liked the man better) Do I take him back knowing he f***ed a man??? Hello I do not know where his thing has been and my trust for him is gone period. I guess I'm in the wrong for divorcing him and remarrying too right? My current husband's ex wife cheated on him. He to has lost all trust in her. Quit judging others.
