    Glad I found your shows...I've been binge watching Gibbs Adventures....I've always been a numbers trapper and hired a skinner, so I could spend my time catching...it was a lucrative relationship...sadly my good skinner passed and there just isn't the interest in todays youth

    I use staples but always run my hand around every pelt to make sure they’re out. The short electric gun staples are easy to miss. I’ve gone to an air stapler with spacer and 1 1/4 staples. They stand up nice and are very quick and easy. Thanks for the video.

    a friend of mine uses a battery operated leaf blower before skinning to blow dry the beaver,,work from head toward the tail,,makes them dry and look very nice!!!

      @@myronsosnowski3287 guess not...I couldn't even afford to pay your gas milage...lol... I tried a kid that seemed interested, but he soon lost interest when the work began and he couldn't keep up. So instead of double shifts on the line, I had split shifts with one in the fur shed. That really cuts down the amount of catches.
