Hiya my name is James Whitham and I'm down at Reactive Parts.
We're going to talk about brake master cylinders and in this case, the Brembo brake master cylinders and this is it, it's a beautiful unit.
It's forged aluminium body and again cast aluminium lever. What's good about it? Well we're used to seeing adjustable levers on all standard bikes these days are fitted with such but this is adjustable all ways both where the lever bites and where the fulcrum point is this means if you break with one finger you can have more power or wind it out, two fingers - less power, some people even with the full hand but there's less feeling in the lever that way.
It will fit any bike, you don't have to have the rest of the Brembo system or calipers on for your standard calipers. This is one of the most important and popular upgrades for trackday and road riding.

Simple and too the point
Can i use chocolate biscuits for brake pads????
Apologies in advance if i sound dumb - will this fit the Harley Street 750 ... here at India we are pissed with the brakes of the 750...with hardly any alternatives
I’m afraid it won’t fit on your bars
looks like cast body and forged lever to me!!
Will it fit 1" bars?
You can get them for 1 inch bars, I just got a Brembo RCS15 for my Sportster, Lyndall brakes and Bellismoto sell a 1 inch version of the RCS 15 (Single disc) and RCS19 (Dual disc)
.......
It won't fit ANY bike, that's wrong. It's not compatible with the M50 calipers, just to name one.
Wrong. How the hell can't it fit an m50? The brake lines attach to the master on one end and the caliper on the other. The RCS19 is more than enough for a dual m50 setup lol
@@jonnymac8925 dude, check the vendor's recommendation. If You're a home-tuner type dude, ignore. Lol
@@Zlippi vendors recommendations are RCS15 for single disc radial or single/dual axial calipers. RCS19 for dual disc axial or radial. RCS17 for bikes with dual disc. The RCS17 would be the go to for those calipers, but they will work just fine with the 19. If it was a single m50 setup, then the 19 would be a-okay. To say it's not compatible isn't true. Is it the best master cylinder to use with the m50, no, but it's not the worst or wrong choice either.
@@Csirkefoga yah, I'm well aware of the piston size of the m50. The rcs19 is too powerful for a single m50 setup but it's definitely not too powerful for a dual m50 setup. I don't need Google to answer common sense but thanks. It will work just fine, there are better master cylinders to use but to say they aren't compatible is a flat out lie. "Not recommended and not compatible" are two totally different things. I would also like to add that the only real difference would be that the rcs19 would hzve less feel at the lever but performance wise would stop just as well, so again it may not be the ideal master cylinder for most track riders, it's not going to hurt or hinder performance.
@@jonnymac8925 okay than Jonny Mac. Have some mac and chese, and you'll cool down :)
Can a clutch master cylinder be used as a brake for scooter left brake?
