Now going backward in time to analyze the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden in comparison to the Earth and it's oscillations now. I see a bit of a problem. For example Witch Craft. It says nothing in the Bible about Witch Craft at all and it does not define it. It simply mentions idolatry and gives some examples. I presume it warns about fragmentation ,deference and worship by following multiple Gods causing fragmentation of spirit and thought rather than a sacred unity. You don’t need idols if you just have one God. It saves time too because you don’t have to please all these other entities. That is practical as well since you don’t have ten thousand lambs to sacrifice to a heap of Gods and Goddesses. However God doesn’t just have one quality and is not a Gendered being either. How many people were murdered by the Church during the Inquisition? People like midwife’s and healers and others who practised paganism. What man can decide what is of God and not of God since man is not God? Indeed there are many good points in the Bible particularly the New Testament but this other stuff can’t be taken literally. It is open to interpretation and were it not we wouldn’t have so many different churches within the Christian religion. Catholics, Fundamentalists, Baptists and so on who all argue points of difference. Are they evil idolators or wrong in their worship ? I doubt it. One road doesn’t suit everyone. Jews also have the one God from which Christianity came before Christ. The concept of one God came from the Egyptians. The Jews came out of Egypt with that idea.
