I kind of miss the smaller cinematic quests that actually gave context to a warframe beyond "The AI took out a loan and needs you to save him from his shit financial choices."
The only 2 things which come close to that is 1: a warframe that's not supposed to be alive but yet he walks the plains of eldion (revenant which his very name means "one who returns after death or long absence" which revenant is half Warframe half eldion) 2: limbo the very being who tried to make the jump to the rift but miscalculated and died as a result but then became more entity than man and has full control over the rift being completely untouchable (with a few expectations which shouldn't happen) when in the rift making limbo more of an entity then a living being So in some twisted way limbo and revenant is nether dead nor alive they're more entity than men Side note: limbo despite being heavy hated and misunderstood he can be very good once you figured out how to use his abilities and limbo is probably the most active Warframe in the game and (arguably) the hardest one to learn in the game because of the learning curve and skill gap but the playstyle is the most satisfying once you can master his abilities and playsyles
