I have a confession. After I saw the movie, I went to my dorm room and cried because of how good it was. I do not cry a lot at all but for some reason this movie moved me so much. I am 20 years old woman and to see all those beautiful black women portrayed in such a positive light brought me to tears! I am born and raised in Sweden and my parents immigrated from Eritrea a small east african country 30yrs ago and it just meant the world to me to see Africa so advanced. I saw an interview with the cast and Lupita said something that I really couldn't get out of my head when I was watching the movie. She sad Wakanda is what Africa could have been had we not been asulted...
OMG I moved from Eritrea to Germany many years ago as well...I am currently a uni student...and watching it made me feel proud as well...especially because I have heard so many negative comments about Africa.
Oh wake up, if Africa had never been assaulted, then local tribes would still be committing genocides with wooden spears on their neighbouring tribes and keeping enslaving them. Pre-european Africa was harsh, brutal and primitive. Sad but truth.

I am a Marvel fan through and through and I love superhero movies. I go to everyone of these films and TRUST me, I have never seen it like this. People were wearing head scarves and their cultural clothes. WAKANDA FOREVER! But you know what I liked the most? Wakanda is a metaphorical America. Yes for generations they've protected Wakanda and it's resources, but they were wrong. They need to open up to the rest of the world. I am not asking America to open up to the rest of the world, I just want people to recognize that *just because certain things have been done for centuries does not mean its right.* I wish someone on the panel would talk about things like this.
Hmm except there's a major difference in that Wakanda built everything it had on the backs of it's own, not slave labor and did not colonise other countries and did not partake in mass genocide of indigineous people. So maybe let's not insult Wakanda by likening it to America LOL.

I stood in a long queue at the Silver bird theater (Accra, Ghana) to get the ticket, then another long queue to get popcorn and then an even longer one to get into the theatre... But it was all worth it.

A lot of my classmates skipped school to go and watch the premiere of Black Panther. I went three weeks later when school was on break and I really liked it. While I do not believe it is the best Marvel movie of all time, it is definitely one of the best.
Yes the director is talented. He even wrote Creed and that was one of the best movies of 2016. So I'm not surprised that this movie was fantastic because every movie he has been involved in has been gold and he's from my hometown Chicago

A lot of my classmates skipped school to go and watch the premiere of Black Panther. I went three weeks later when school was on break and I really liked it. While I do not believe it is the best Marvel movie of all time, it is definitely one of the best.

Yes the director is talented. He even wrote Creed and that was one of the best movies of 2016. So I'm not surprised that this movie was fantastic because every movie he has been involved in has been gold and he's from my hometown Chicago

Black Panther is not only the best Marvel comics movie ever, but it’s a masterpiece! I saw it on TV on ABC, before 20/20 did a tribute to Chadwick Boseman 😪🙏🙅🏻♀️🙅🏻🙅♂️ My aunt, Zeny Samonte, is like Chadwick: Died of colon cancer a brave, tough, & strong hero & warrior. RIP Chadwick & Tita Zeny 😪🙏

I think it's also beautiful that the motion they do when they say "Wakanda Forever" is the same sign for "love" in American Sign Language. Definitely not accidental

Guys why do we have to be so negative about everything Black Panthers was an awesome movie !! Why are we fighting about race who cares enjoy the movie and let African Americans enjoy there moment they r supporting the actors and r proud because of how well the movie did. We all know how minorities aren't welcomly accepted in Hollywood. We should be happy and celebrating this moment regardless if ur African American or not this is a huge accomplishment. I loved this movie I wish we could all live in peace ! God bless you all.
