Thank you for sharing your knowledge of bass fishing your faith in God and sharing great video content! 2025 I’m going back to school every time I’m watching these. Tight lines take care and God bless.
Im jn the south and have lived here all my life. I do not catch many fish on red baits lol white and matte colors work much better due to the fish and bait fish are still pale from cold water temps. You forgot a swim jig though. I was catching on a swimjig yesterday. Slow rolling it near the bottom in 5 to 7ft of water. Warm front pushed the bass up to feed some. Other bait ttat was working was a pearl fluke style bait lightlt weighted with a light nail weight in the mid to nose area not nose, rigged weedless (texas rigged). Got some hits on a very small underspin as well. Jerkbait, spinnerbait and bigger paddle tail didn't even get a sniff from a fish 🤷♂️😂. Fishing this time of year and lures to use isnt definite unfortunately its still fishing.
Thanks for breaking down Florida on its own. I live in Orlando (pond fishing) and am seeing beds everywhere. However, there are no bass on these new beds. Any idea why? Also, with all the fog we've been having, how should it affect the bite? I fished the other day in 50' visibility and go zero bites other than on a dropshot.
@pawpawsplants8728 i was thinking tilapia, as Tyler said. However, I read that tilapia spawn after bass in the warmer months (April and May). I have no idea as I just started bass/ freshwater fishing last May. But again, I know they're new beds and don't have bass on them, or any fish for that matter.
@@MrAjolly75 definitely bass. I actually have pics lol. I fish multiple ponds daily and it's the only one I've seen them on beds in. Retention pond right off I10.
I was doing ok in early to mid January down here in Alabama, but since then until last Sunday, it's been dried out. Can't hardly get a nibble. I'll be changing it up for now.
I've only picked up the hobby a year ago, but I have yet to catch anything on a spinner bait or chatter/vibrating bait in Oklahoma. My luck is weird I guess.
Would you happen to have any tips for fishing in the very south on VA? An entire week of rain is coming and each day will be about 65-70 degrees what would you recommend I throw during and after that period of warm rain? It has consistently been in the mid 50s to low 70s for a week or two what would be the best lures to stretch some line?
Tyler!! What the heck man? It's appreciated that you show all your catches, but would have been nice to know the weight on that monster you got with that Alabama!! I can plainly see it's way bigger than my PB, so you got my curiosity!!
True, you have similar weather in that it doesn't get very cold even in winter, but your fish still seem to spawn about the same time as southern ponds. March is prime from what I've heard
@TylersReelFishing u should come up here in canada and try to use a jerkbait in February😂 if u actually want a chance for it too MAYBE even work, use a sinking jerkbait.

Just went fishing today caught my new PB 5.12 ounces or a mega Bass dark sleeper. The bass is my profile pic.
How much do you think it weighs?
I caught 2 bass on a spoon the other day

Can you please hit the canals in south FL and get some peacock bass and Oscars?
looks like he fished for Florida peacock today on his instagram account.
My weather has been warming up to 60 quicker here in Utah. Any tips for pond 60 air temp bass fishing?

What do you think about an underspin? I’ve been doing really well on an underspin.

7lb 15oz!
What spinning rod / reel you using?
How about SoCal? Same as Southern/central Florida?

@ Alright. Good to know! Thanks Tyler!
Do you think red Chatterbaits would be effective in spawn too?(March, April) *central Georgia*
Once the fish really start spawning, I don’t throw a chatter. I start dragging a worm and creature bait around mostly
Do some ice fishing it's never bad to try new things
I have! It just gets no views on my channel, so I can’t make a bad business choice there

I just but the lipless crankbait in the thumbnail
