Legendary iconic DJ Richard Blade gets a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame!

Growing up as an 80s kid was a fascinating experience, largely because of the incredible music that defined the era. One of the most iconic presenters of this music, both then and now, is Richard Blade. From his days at KROQ to his current role at Sirius XM, Richard has been a constant presence in the music world. I remember watching him host the best music videos on MV3, which later became Video One, and listening to him as a DJ on the legendary KROQ.
Fourteen years ago, I had the unforgettable opportunity to meet my music hero at a small 80s nightclub in Bellflower. This was the beginning of my journey as a tribute band singer for Depeche Mode. I'll never forget the moment Richard announced my name to the crowd. Since then, we've developed a great friendship.
