I enjoy watching yall doing what yall enjoy doing yall are awesome guys
Pushing CAD for what you do is really best practice. I have access to Solidworks and at 75 using it to design my project it's like, where have you been all my life!
Your work is always second to none! Thanks for taking the time!
As someone who has been a design engineer for 22 years, good job with the CAD demo.
I agree with you on the CAD stuff. It's difficult to pick up from only an explanation though. My advice is to pick something you either already made or already drew, and just dive in to CAD it. Everything starts to come together when you know what you need the CAD to do.
Congrats Elio! Looking forward to see what you get in to!
home run knock way out of the park! KUDOS, thanks for CAD instructions and Kudos to Elios' UA-cam Chanel can't wait cheers
You should be proud of yourself!!! Excellent work.
Very nice work on the Seat Karl and Ellis
Always a good day when it starts with a Karl video!! Enjoyed the CAD instruction as well.
Thank you so much for the CAD lesson! It was awesome and much needed.
Hey Karl
That car are freaking beautiful is all i can say
Finishing something.... That's a phrase you don't hear on UA-cam very often... Love your work... 😁😁
Great work Karl
Thank you for your hard work and diligence. Your videos are true art.😉🥧🌗
That's a wickid bead! Keep it up. Love to watch.
You put things together really nice, wish I had your skills and a place to use them.
Seats can get really pricey! I like the form work it really complements the roadster. Nice work! 👍😁
Great work,nicely done.
Awesome evening brother how are yall doing !!! The Ole gal is looking awesome !!! Hope yall have an awesome weekend brother another awesome adventure as always man
Great video thanks Karl.
Nice. Get it elio. Thanks for the lessons . Helps on my junk pile!
Cool video and definitely would support Elio! Aloha🤙🏼
Looks good 👍
Thanks for another , Brother
Pretty cool guys.
Keep us posted with Elios site. You two are top drawer 👍🏻👋🤚
Very cool!
You should design panels like that to use the holes to bolt it down when you can so it eliminates the welding step and doesn't warp the panel
What is Elio’s channel?
Ooooh, I'm early this time! :D
At the beginning I had been thinking it would be kinda cool if you gave it some slight bucket backs behind the seating positions, even though it's a bench seat, but I'm not sure that would have looked as good.
As cool as it looks, the bead forming technique seems kind of expensive in materials if you end up making a lot of forms you don't end up reusing. I suppose to some extent they could be recycled. Like if you needed a bead with the same arc, but shorter, you could cut that one down and weld a new end on the mid and top pieces. The back could stay the same, since it just goes behind everything anyway. You even already have the placement of the holes in CAD format already that you could cut and paste onto a new drawing.
I dunno. Just thoughts. :D
So, did you make that brass windshield frame? If so, is there a video about that?
Hi karl if you are useing leather or vinyl on your seats dont forget to put in some brethers to let air in& out
Impressive!
Totally awesome
I would like to see more of this.
Mr Make It Kustom, nice job, good video,is Elio,s roadster a tuner 4 banger, cheers Rob.
Thank you for your hard work and talent. Your videos are always a delight.🐡🥕🦖
This Flo forming is so interesting. You’ve done a lot of 1” beads. Do you think it’s possible to go wider or narrower? Just curious if there is a reason behind the bead size.
Always enjoy
Can you use some sort of composite instead of wood like Coosa board? Since it is an open top car, something that does not absorb water is a nice feature. I known the upholstery also absorbs water, but there isn't much you can do about that.
really like watching you work! Simple question, what CAD program do you use?
Awesome!!
Once again nicely done guys cheers from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🐨🦘🪃🐪🍻
You forgot to mention sanding, drilling or punishing aluminium removes anodising. Stainless bolts and washers, steel/alloy separation and protective coatings essential
An Elio channel would be super cool
Do you use any type of lubricants when doing the flow forming ? I’ve noticed some guy I watch use oil mix when using a power hammer or pull max. Would it help with flow forming ?
Seat project please. I would like to build the same seat for my roadster
I find Qcad to be very user friendly for beginners!
I'm just curious why you didn't use the toolbar instead of the command bar? I think it would increase your productivity. I assume you are using AutoCAD. I really like and enjoy your channel. Good job.
24:20 Im watching the video wondering why there was a giager meter going off in the background until i realized it was your headphone on the mic
How are you mounting the seat belts?
You guys under estimate your talent and your capabilities you should be building Racecars and Rockets rock on Brothers Lurve your work
What cad program are you using? I'm trying to learn Fusion 360 currently, but its been an uphill battle. I need a program thats easy and intuitive. The program on your screen doesn't look like the Fusion 360 that I'm using.
Why did you not wire edge top of back
Great look Karl but having your legs extended for hours might just be a touch painful on trips. Its kind of why a rig is more elevated from the factory.... excluding corvettes or other roadster look model vehicles... Its going to look and get looks... just wondering how its going to feel after say eight hours of driving to shows
I’m a dummy! I could wrap my 1947(birth year) around CAD 360.
So where do I find “command window” ? Is that the spyware you use with your latest video scan rectangle thingy??
Color me lost 😂
Oh… draft sight, thanks
Hey Karl since you mentioned it what is Elio's new UA-cam page name
🎅🏻👍🏻🇫🇮🔧🔩
Damn Elio, you need a haircut so badly. Your head looks like a big cue ball. By the way, i really like your work! Tell Carl to quit saying "weld the holes up", it's just weld them, not weld them up! Always watch you guys, you do some really fine work with some fine ideas. Cudos!
I have to lern CAD too. Is there any amateur cheapor free CAD softwares? I fear they are all expensive.
Freecad is freeware - great stuff, been using it for years
Bring on Elio’s channel
What's Elio's UA-cam channel
Hilghting a box.. it's called "rubber banding" - which selects a group of objects within the rubber band.
What 🧐lol
First 😏
Nice Video.

My boyfriend thought it would be romantic to whisk me away for a weekend getaway. It was lovely until he realized I packed more snacks than lingerie. Priorities, right💚
