Visiting The Worlds BIGGEST Wind Turbine!

Max Bögl have built the worlds tallest wind turbines in Gaildorf, Germany, and we went to see them up close and personal!
The four GE 3.4-137 3.4MW turbines make a part of the Naturstromspeicher

They take my breath away! I don't understand where it comes from but I absolutely love windmills. Terrified at same time though

Ugly, noisy. Produces nothing. Only at random hours. Expensive as fuck and a short lifetime. They are visible from miles. They take almost a decade to project .

Renewables produced almost 60% of Germany's electricity last year, which incidentally, is more that Britain's entire annual consumption. So not really 'nothing'.
