I couldn't find the lyrics to this song /anywhere/, not on UA-cam, not on lyrics sites, or well... Any website! I thought it was a little weird. But... Then again, as a solo artist, I suppose Graham is a little obscure. Anyways, I wanted to talk about the lyrics. Since I could not find any lyrics online, I had to listen to this song carefully, and write what I thought it sounds like. So, this video is probably about as useful as those "Misheard lyrics" videos.
But, I thought that... Maybe some people would still like to know what he's most likely saying. Besides, at least this is an upload with high quality sound. The other uploads I found didn't sound all that nice and they were a bit quiet.
Anyways, back on to the lyrics. The ones with question marks, I'm not even sure if they're the actual lyrics or not, and I'm just guessing. They're most likely NOT right. However, here's some alternatives to what I thought they were (and the ones in the video were the ones I went with, since I thought it sounded most accurate)
-"We've been drunk" I actually thought he said "We beat drums" when I first heard it. But... I didn't think that sounded right? At least because the rest of the song, there's not much reference to singing, other than "you dance on mine". I also thought it could possibly be "We beat drunks". Sounds violent, but it could work.
-"But I pay for the machine, the future, the family crest". I thought it could also be "I wait for the machine," or "I play for the machine", I'm not really sure with this one. It's kinda odd, considering that most of the first verse/chorus was pretty clear to me.
-"Bound to the king" Either king or kicks... Not sure?
-"The killer's dream" this one, I was definitely just guessing. Because I really can't understand what he's saying, British accents, amirite?
-"Just us then and fuck the rest" This one doesn't have a question mark in the vid, but I thought it almost sounded like he was saying "Just us /ten/" but... Probably just the accent.
Anyways, will I make more lyric videos? I've made some in the past. I almost considered making lyric videos for all the Graham Coxon songs, since he's like... My favorite solo singer!! But, then I realized that'll be a lot of songs, since I pretty much love nearly every song on all of his 8 albums with the exception of The Spinning Top tho But... I will be uploading something similar to a lyric video with one of his other songs!!
DISCLAIMER/INFO: I do not own this song and I do not claim to! This song is from the film "Riot Club 2014" original soundtrack. If you really enjoy the song and the artist, please support him by purchasing some of his work!

It helps to have seen the movie "The Riot Club," which featured this song. Even as an American, it pisses me off that Boris Johnson was one of these creeps.
