It shows no upcoming event for semis on youtube and also not on discovery. Wtf is this semis for, if there is not even a broadcast. Uci u are fucking trash, bring back the broadcast to red bull.

The top section is not for the faint hearted. Like it's designed to send people to the ER. Let's make it fast, really fast. Now make sure there isn't anything soft to land on. Oh, we can't put spikes next to the track? Rocks than, everywhere. Also make sure riders can't get back to speed, so they won't even think about breaking.

Nope, this is heavily stretched, looks like 4:3 made 16:9. No idea what they've done to the footage, the official GoPro account used the same video with the same stretching.
Maybe they accidentally filmed in "Narrow" and needed it to somehow fit the widescreen format.

@@panchoyamut At least it's up to 4k now, for a long time the previews have been limited to a blurry 1080 pixel mush. Where you couldn't even tell that there are rocks in the beginning.
Heh. I just downloaded the video and toggled between the various aspect ratios with VLC. And it turned out that 5:4 fits pretty decent, hell, even 1:1 is better than what we're seeing here. 😂
To me it looks like they really forgot to turn on SuperView or at least "Wide" in the GoPro settings and then had to fake it afterwards. Although there are much better solutions than a simple "stretch out everything" which they've used here.
I would need 1000 years to do it half speed 😅
