First Lawn Stripes 2024 and Signs Texas Bluegrass Overseed is Growing

Its the end of May 2024 and I have broke out the lawn striper. Noticed multiple seed heads throughout lawn for both bluegrass and fescue. Ultimate goal is to have a lawn that doesn't require frequent watering and I haven't watered yet this season.
Cool temps are forecasted for first half of June, so will add a small dose of nitrogen with an organic fertilizer in next video. Also will need to spot spray some clover that is creeping in.

Is your striper mounted solid or does it float up and down?

It can pivot up and down.

Your lawn and it color looks amazing. Is it 100% Texas bluegrass or a mix with KBG? Also are you in the transition zone?

@@cliffholmes5044 not transition, I live in northern Wisconsin. The grass initially was 3 varieties of KBG and it is the lawn pictured in my logo. I don’t have irrigation and we had a 2 years of high heat and drought so it died off last season. I rebuilt it with Jonathon Green mix that is Texas bluegrass and black beauty fescue blend. Much more drought resistant than before.
