Same with me, but I can’t do tricks pushing goofy. It’s just because my right foot is far more balanced than my left foot when I’m pushing. I’m gonna work on pushing regular today though.
Then in both cases you're using your left foot to push right? I do the same. I can't push with my right foot at all, my left doesn't feel stable enough on the board.
Essvd 沈黙 oh yeah it seems really off at first, but that’s just because your muscles aren’t used to it. Dedicate the time to practice and your muscles will get used to it and then feel entirely normal!!
Progress Skateboarding that’s awesome!!Isn’t it so much better to be Abel to push regularly now? Yeah it really does end up helping when skating switch haha. Thank you! Feel free to share with anyone you feel can benefit! 🙏
Its Lightfury just keep practicing it, it will definitely feel better and normal once you do it for a while. Trust me, I pushed mongo for years and now never even feel compelled to push that way anymore
i’ve watched a bunch of videos of about why mongo is wrong and why i should change and this guy put it in the nicest way possible without criticizing people for riding mongo
I skated mongo for a couple of months while first skating and found out it was wrong, I saw this video and it’s been about a week or so and it feel so natural and much better then mongo. Thank you! *been a couple weeks and I’m now 100% out of mongo, regular feels so good!
@@LeOlEo-gt5dt it’s going fantastic. Riding regular is just the normal now and I never realize I’m doing it anymore. Finally landed Bs 180 today and got them consistent
I skated from age 10 to 16 but rode mongo that whole time. Now I’m 34 and have decided to get back into it. Just ordered a new setup and my first order of business is learning to ride regular. Thank you for this video! It gave me the motivation I needed and I like that you’re super encouraging and actually show how someone like me can correct it instead of just saying “it looks weird” like a lot of other videos on this topic. I appreciate it man! Peace.
Shade of Sound niiiice happy to hear that! That’s sweet you decided to get back into it! Skating always stays in the heart. Glad the video was helpful! You definitely got this!!
Thanks man I just started as a beginner and I would always push mongo. It was really difficult to push normally and i would always fall when i tried to push. Thankyou man this was really helpful and changed how I skate completely
I use to skate when I was in my early teens and I pushed mongo, just bought a board Because I'm bored with this quarantine bs, gonna get back into it, figured id start off right with step one of breaking the habit. Thank you for the video!
Bo bo awesome man glad to hear you’re getting back into it! I took time away from it too and got back into it now! Glad the vid was helpful, you’ll switch it up no prob!
I'm 33 and haven't skated in years, but thinking about grabbing a board and getting back into it. Also would love to try changing my goofy mongo stance. Did you end up having any luck?
Thank you, been riding mongo as it feels so natural but I've learnt that its frowned upon so been watching loads of videos to help me, earned a sub🤟🏼🤟🏼
korbien happy it helps! It was really natural for me too but I’m really glad I took the time to adjust it. Feels very comfortable with the other foot now. Just like normal and helps with skating as you keep doing more tricks! Thanks for the sub!
This is helpful, I only have a penny board rn but I have an actual board coming on Tuesday, I had no clue I was pushing wrong, I’ve been skating for 2 weeks so honestly I’m glad I can kill the habit quickly, thanks man!
Anifyz very common! Your left leg just isn’t used to it yet and isn’t as strong yet! It’ll be good to help strengthen your leg up similarly to your right leg as you get more comfortable and coordinated! Keep practicing and you will get it!
There is no reason to switch. It feels wrong to people who are regular just like writing with your left feels wrong for right handed people. The "disadvantage" doesn't exist.
Om gosh thank you so much.I always used to push that way and i looked at all these pros thinking why and what am i doing wrong that makes me look like a cripple shrimp on my board when i try and skate properly. I actually tried this and took the courage to go to my local skate park and start pushing properly and i was there for 8 HOURS but it worked and i will be forever thankful
Yesss so happy to hear that this was helpful to you! Good job going to the park and putting in the time for it and congrats for switching it up!! Keep killin it!
i barely started skating and i pushed mongo and i just practiced regular by going in a straight line back and forth and now pushing regular is just so easy now. thanks
Assetto Corsa Drifting awesome so happy to hear that! It’ll feel weird at first but it’ll switch the habit 100% and feel so much better. Thanks for the sub! 🤙
Thanks bro. I started skating back in the early 90s and had to teach myself. 30 years on and going right back to the start. I damn well will get there. Cheers brah.
I just started skating like three weeks ago and up until now I was riding mongo. It legit took me a day to get comfortable riding regular and I can finally do a ollie moving.
Thanks my dude, I skated mongo for 10 years growing up and just getting back into skating now and decided to stop being stubborn and learn to push reg. I was hoping there was a secret trick haha this is what I was already doing, thanks for the vid and the confidence brother! Keep it up!
Im a longboard dancer and a down hill speed boarder and I push mongo for past 3 years, and never once haves I had any issues from dropping the board as I'm running to doing steps, but one thing I feel I need to push regular for is to drift on my board going down hills or around corners, so I'm going to try to learn pushing regular and maybe this will help a lot ✌🏾
So I started skating like 4 weeks ago but like people tell me not to call myself a skater cuz I push mongo, but if I practice for 6 months then I’ll be available to do tricks
miaa. rosed you can be considered a skater and still push mongo haha. But it’s not a good habit to keep. If you really stick with skating and find it to be something you’re into long term, then you’re a skater!
Bro thanks heaps , I just started skating again since a 10 year gap and have always pushed mongo. My friends told me I was riding mongo and to go goofy instead. And I tried all day and was over balancing and ripping splits and shit ahah. Literally just by watching the placing of your feet helped correct mine. And I feel smoother already
Oh wow thats awesome to hear! First off, hell yeah for getting back into skating! Secondly, really glad this is helpful to you! Thirdly, thats cool to hear you saw the foot placement and it helped! Keep it up man! Welcome back to the skate world!
I started longboarding a week ago found out I was pushing mongo. I decided to take action right away.now I push regularly. Thank you this video helped a lot 😁
I’ve been pushing mongo for quite a while now and I’m trying to change my ways. However, when I push regular, which still feels a little awkward, my board goes to the right when I push. It won’t say straight!
Matthew Borders the bushings on your trucks might be worn on the one side and causing your board to want to go to the right every time. Try flipping the board around and push that way. If it fixes, then great! If it now goes to the left, get new bushings. If it still goes to the right, then it might just be how you’re balanced and you just have to keep practicing staying centered while you push! Hope this helps! You’ll get it!!
just tried it! i rode mongo for about a year and decided that now that winter's over, i should try riding the right way. i spent like an hour doing it and now its comfortable! thanks!
I started skating around 13 and it lasted until around 16 I wasn’t that good so i just stopped but I’ve always skated mongo im 23 now and I wanna take skating a bit more seriously so I can learn the basics, its gonna be so hard to start all over especially trying not to skate mongo . Hopefully this time around I can learn to pump regular 💪🏼 appreciate the video man. Good to know someone learned to stop skating mongo!
Welcome back to skating! I did something similar where I quit for years and then got back into it more seriously. It was easier this time around for me to learn things being older. It’ll probably be the same for you too. Just push normal always and it’ll quickly become your natural push 🔥🤙
thank u so much i started pushing regular last week and i can push regular now! i still need to practise to feel more comfortable at it but thanks dude

I've pushed mongo for 14years. Even tho i push with my front-foot, i have my back-foot on the center of the board(unlike most ppl who push mongo whom have their board infront of them when pushing). Every time i try to learn regular push i simply grow impatience since i can push waay faster and more controlled the mongo way q,q.. lol
Dr. Nefarious be patient with yourself if you’re trying to switch up your pushing style! It’ll take practice but the more you do it, the more comfortable it will be!
I Push "Mongo" Currently: My Left is on the back of the board, pushing with my right foot. Do I keep my right foot on the front, and recondition myself to push with my left foot? Is that correct?
@@HolyCity2012 Thanks! Glad you like the video! Sure Im happy to help ya out with it. You are correct. Keep your front foot (in your case, your right foot) on the board and push with your back foot!
I skated mongo for all my 10 years and never once had a problem setting up after pushing. You just get used to it from day one that you learn to adjust your feet super quick anyway. There is no right or wrong way, everyone is different and can push how they feel is right for them. People need to stop criticising others and let them just enjoy skating Also to add with skating mongo you have more control over the board to stop quickly if you have to. And also adjust your direction.
I may be able to make a video on that in the future! In the meantime, use these tips: Have someone help you loosen your trucks a little. Then when you are riding, lean to your toes to turn one way and lean toward your heels to turn the other way. This is really all you need to know! It gets better and easier with practice. If you want to keep your trucks tighter, you will have to push down a little with your back foot to make the board lift up a tiny bit and you can turn it that way too. This is also called doing a "tic tac" and is a great trick to learn as one of your first!! Have an adult read this and help you out if you would like! Keep practicing and have fun!
Omg thank you!! I would always mongo and a lot of people would say it’s “wrong” so I would get embarrassed after I was doing it since I was 9. I learned how to do it in 30 mins THANK YOUUU!!
Lol I started skating I was like damn I’m getting pretty comfortable riding but then I was like wait I think I’m pushing mongo and sure enough glad I’m fixing this bad habit early on! Thanks bro
I appreciate this one. Hate to say I didn’t even realize I pushed mongo until I got way more in to skating recently and I see and feel why it’s worse. Thanks for an inspirational fix your shit video instead of most others I seen that just make fun of it.
If you are "Goofy Foot" and you want to push with your stronger right foot, you have to go Mongo. You can still do quick left foot pushes from this position to set up for tricks. No problem
So, when not standing with both feet on the skateboard, the front foot should be on the board, and the back foot be off. Do you also want me to control the direction of the skateboard (or when picking it up from the ground) with the front foot, by moving it back to the kick-tail? When standing in a skatepark, and deciding which way to go, is it ok to control the direction of the skateboard with the back foot over the kick-tail, or should it always be the front foot doing that job?
Knygathin If your trucks are tight and you’re riding with both feet on the board, just do a “tic tac” to turn it. As you skate more and more, you might decide to start trying to loosen your trucks. This will make turning while moving much easier and can be easily controlled just by leaning to either side with the front foot. If you’re not moving and are just changing the direction of the board, then I would say that is personal preference. I personally use my back foot to move the board that way. Does that help answer your question?
@@XSProgression Yes, well loosening up the trucks some more, may be a good idea. My front left foot is my weak foot (for example I can't really kick a football with it, just like I can't write with my left hand), so it is difficult to steer the board with the front foot alone. Looser trucks might make it easier.
Hey man, ive been skating for a bit and am getting to the point where I can go long ass distances, have no issues balancing while pushing, but when I push regular my left leg eventually just gets exhausted. Do you recommend I learn mongo just to have that flexibility of pushing with both legs, letting one rest, or should I just wait till I can do 180s/ride goofy?
Synergy TRTL yeah I know what you mean getting to that tired point with the one leg. When I do that, I do switch legs and push with my other leg, but I also am at a point in my skating where I use that as an opportunity to ride switch! If you’re just cruising around and going long distances, and aren’t ready to practice switch, then there’s no prob pushing mongo. You don’t have a habit of it. This is just for those that are in the habit of pushing like that as their normal push. So to wrap it up, if you are interested in practicing switch skating then that’s a good opportunity, but if not don’t stress it. It’s not a habit, you’re just tired with the one leg 👍 “edited cause I used the wrong emoji at the end lol”
@@XSProgression Gotchu, just wondering how would I go about learning switch? literally cant even push when riding it, if i do its a very very small one, and i lose my balance wayyy too easily. Left leg I can push for days never lose my balance do whatever I want with my body but i just cant get it down w/ the right
Synergy TRTL if you’re still getting used to skating your regular stance, then just focus on that for now. Switch is really something people pursue after they get down a deep bag of tricks in their normal stance. Focus on building up your comfort on your board and you’ll get there! It’s all just practice, commitment, and having fun!
Appreciate you brother. Thanks for this! For some reason I’ve been skating mongo on my nickel board. I’m normally goofy but for whatever reason it feels weird on that particular board!
Hey man, just watched your video. Thanks for the advice! I skate and i snowboard since i am 9 years old. Now i am 29. While riding the Skateboard regular, i push mongo. When i ride my snowboard goofy, i push regular (lol because i kinda have to obviously). In my teenage years i also tried some tricks, but never got really good at it, so i lost motivation. I stopped somewhen at the age of 18 and got back on a skateboard 4 years ago. Since then i was riding only longboards (still pushing mongo). At the moment i really wanna go back into trick-skating with a standard deck. My question is the following: I want to change my pushing habit. But in which direction? Shall i try riding my skateboard goofy (which feels pretty unnatural to handle) and push with my left foot (as i'm used to from standard/mongo) or shall i keep riding it regular and try to change my habit on pushing with my right foot (standard regular)? Peace
Raphael wow I don’t think I’ve ever met someone that skates regular and snowboards goofy! That’s actually really cool and probably will help you down the line with switch tricks. Also cool you got back into it now around 29! I would say to just put the board down, run and jump onto it and whichever way you land is most likely your most comfortable stance. If that ends up to be regular and you don’t want to push mongo anymore, just spend a full day pushing around regularly and that will help you to practice the balance and switch up the habit! All in all, it’s just about having fun while challenging yourself. Keep practicing and enjoying it! You can do anything you set your mind to 💪 does that help?
@@XSProgression Thanks for your answer, appreciate it! Regular is definitely my "more comfortable" stance on the skateboard. I guess i'll try to change the foot i am pushing with. I'll try to take it as a cool challenge! Will let you know in case! And yes, you're helping - your advice and your words are motivating! Greets from Germany, peace

I’m 43. Hopped on a board today for the first time in 20 years. I have pushed Mongo since I started when I was 12. I guess now is a good time to learn to push Regular. 😂
Guys best feeling ever learning true regular after 15 years off and I’m only two weeks in 💥💥 I was mongo my whole youth and hated it. Snowboarding helped too being locked in for 8 hours a day. He’s right guys it really only takes a day to trick your brain
I found this video as a 35 year old who hasn't skated in 15 years. I was a street skater. I always pushed Mongo and didn't even know. I was a decent skater. Did a lot of gaps and basic tricks. Anyway, now that UA-cam exists I tried to relearn. After almost 2 months I've gone back to Mongo. I am just able to do better that way.
Well this is a dream crusher, lol. 33 year old here, haven't skated in about 15 years, and skated mongo goofy when I did. Been watching skate vids lately and would love to try skating regular after all these years. After reading this, something tells me us old folk are gonna have a hell of a time switching. If I get around to giving it a legit try I'll post back and let you know how it goes.
Good luck Evan. I still try to push regular. It really effects me when I am setting up to hit a ledge or ollieing onto a manual pad or over something. It's probably a combination of a confidence and just not being able to get quite as fast pushing regular.
@@evanjohn6934 nah man it’s not a dream crusher. It’s an opportunity. Being older has nothing to do with it. My entire channel is me restarting skating at 27 (about to turn 29 now) and I’ve learned wayyyy more tricks now than when I was younger way easier. It’s all in your mindset. I have a lot of friends learning new tricks that are over 40. Stay positive man. I think it’ll be easier for you honestly. Just have a confident mindset and you really can do it. You got this no prob 🤙🤙
@@gp9616 if you care to switch it up, put in the time to spend a day or two doing nothing else but just pushing with your back foot. You just need to strengthen the muscles in that leg and get into the muscle memory habit and it’ll become much easier
It took me 2 weeks to fully be able to push normal. The back foot hurt a little bit, but the pain went away after a few days. Since then I only push regular or normal or what ever..
I just got back into skating with the pandemic and everything. There's no cheating the practice, but ditching mongo is the way to go! There's way more balance and stability, and less play with the front trucks over bumps and stuff.
I just started a week ago and I can baby Ollie but I push mongo which makes it wonky to do an Ollie my left foot pushes and my right pops but pushing regular is so uncomfortable and hard but this helped so much I was so confused and frustrated bc of how I push but I’ll try to switch over to regular thanks so much this really helped I’m glad I’m not the only person tho
Just started skating again after 15 years . Unfortunately, I taught myself mongo since I didn't know any better back then. Here's to starting all over.
I pushed mongo for 5 months and I learned a couple of tricks but now that I push regular I can’t do the tricks anymore unless I push goofy. I can’t push goofy. Do you think I should re-learn my tricks in the regular stance or try to learn goofy and keep all my tricks?
I pushed Regular for a few months when I started Skateboarding 45 years ago. Then I switched to Mongo for some reason. I ride Goofy. I never did flip tricks so it was never an issue setting up tricks. Once I started riding vert it never even came up. Now I got into Longboarding and I can see where Mongo could be an issue for foot braking if you put your front foot on the ground. Long distance pushing would benefit from being able to push both Regular and Mongo. Going to give Regular a try.
I can see that playing out that way! Definitely good to be able to switch feet long distance. Best of luck with it! Just like learning a new trick. Starts weird, then builds up comfortably

i’ve watched a bunch of videos of about why mongo is wrong and why i should change and this guy put it in the nicest way possible without criticizing people for riding mongo
Thanks man! Glad you took the video that way! I used to push mongo too, so I get it!
I skated mongo for a couple of months while first skating and found out it was wrong, I saw this video and it’s been about a week or so and it feel so natural and much better then mongo. Thank you!
*been a couple weeks and I’m now 100% out of mongo, regular feels so good!
Idk Idk awesome I’m happy to hear that!! Keep killin it!
I literally had the exact same thing, pushed mongo for about 2 months and tried pushing regular cause of a bad left ankle and now I push regular 😂
CheetahGaming that’s great lol
How’s it going?
Awesome man so happy to hear that! Keep killin it!
You took my confidence from a 5% to a 90% thanks for making it more easier, you just got a sub
Happy to hear that!! You got it 100%. Thanks for subbing!
@@XSProgression no problem
Thank you, been riding mongo as it feels so natural but I've learnt that its frowned upon so been watching loads of videos to help me, earned a sub🤟🏼🤟🏼
korbien happy it helps! It was really natural for me too but I’m really glad I took the time to adjust it. Feels very comfortable with the other foot now. Just like normal and helps with skating as you keep doing more tricks! Thanks for the sub!
This is helpful, I only have a penny board rn but I have an actual board coming on Tuesday, I had no clue I was pushing wrong, I’ve been skating for 2 weeks so honestly I’m glad I can kill the habit quickly, thanks man!
comxt yeah man you’ll switch it up fast, just keep practicing! Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for this I have been pushing mongo for 5 months and i want to push regular thanks
You’re welcome! Keep at it! You got this!
XS Progression I learned how to push regular thank u so much have a nice day or night and thank u so much ❤️🙏🏼
I tried pushing regular and it's damn near impossible my left foot just feels so much weaker and uncoordinated than my right foot
@@XSProgression Thank you
I think it doesn’t matter because as long as you’re having fun that’s all that matters.
I agree. This is just for those that care to change it, but ultimately skate however you want to
i barely started skating and i pushed mongo and i just practiced regular by going in a straight line back and forth and now pushing regular is just so easy now. thanks
Steve that’s awwesome! Happy to hear that!!

Thanks bro. I started skating back in the early 90s and had to teach myself. 30 years on and going right back to the start. I damn well will get there. Cheers brah.
Thats awesome!! Cheers!
I just started skating like three weeks ago and up until now I was riding mongo. It legit took me a day to get comfortable riding regular and I can finally do a ollie moving.
Yung Troope Thats so great!! Happy to hear that! Congrats on getting your ollies down moving too. Keep killin it 🤙
Thanks my dude, I skated mongo for 10 years growing up and just getting back into skating now and decided to stop being stubborn and learn to push reg. I was hoping there was a secret trick haha this is what I was already doing, thanks for the vid and the confidence brother! Keep it up!
Glad you found it helpful man! Welcome back to skateboarding!! Enjoy!!
Spent 1 hour today trying to unlearn mongo. It's only a matter of time
Joseph Vice that’s awesome man!! Keep at it! This will work 100%!
Hope it helps!
Welcome back to the skate world!
this actually helped me thank you
lucas brown good I’m glad to hear that!!
I started longboarding a week ago found out I was pushing mongo. I decided to take action right away.now I push regularly. Thank you this video helped a lot 😁
Awesome happy to hear that!!
You’ll get it!!
just tried it! i rode mongo for about a year and decided that now that winter's over, i should try riding the right way. i spent like an hour doing it and now its comfortable! thanks!
Awesome! Happy to hear that!! Congrats and glad this video was helpful!
NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HOW HARD IT IS TO STOP USHING MONGO
It is definitely a challenge haha. But it’s possible for everyone!!!
@@XSProgression for suree 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I've pushed mongo for 14years. Even tho i push with my front-foot, i have my back-foot on the center of the board(unlike most ppl who push mongo whom have their board infront of them when pushing). Every time i try to learn regular push i simply grow impatience since i can push waay faster and more controlled the mongo way q,q.. lol

I Push "Mongo"
Currently: My Left is on the back of the board, pushing with my right foot.
Do I keep my right foot on the front, and recondition myself to push with my left foot?
Is that correct?
THIS IS A GREAT VIDEO!!!
I just have a hard-time interpreting instructions.
@@HolyCity2012 Thanks! Glad you like the video! Sure Im happy to help ya out with it. You are correct. Keep your front foot (in your case, your right foot) on the board and push with your back foot!

HolyCity2012 youre welcome and thank you! Keep shreddin!
I skated mongo for all my 10 years and never once had a problem setting up after pushing. You just get used to it from day one that you learn to adjust your feet super quick anyway. There is no right or wrong way, everyone is different and can push how they feel is right for them.
People need to stop criticising others and let them just enjoy skating
Also to add with skating mongo you have more control over the board to stop quickly if you have to. And also adjust your direction.
This video is for people who want to learn how to stop pushing mongo, not for people who don’t mind continuing to push mongo
I am comfortable with pushing mongo but I do have trouble turning, can you do a turning tutorial?
I may be able to make a video on that in the future! In the meantime, use these tips:
Have someone help you loosen your trucks a little.
Thank you sooo much my friends used to make fun of me because I pushed mongo but now they aren’t because I can push regular. Thank you!
So happy to hear it helped you! Congrats!!! Keep killin it! 🤙
If pushing mongo is wrong, I don't want to be right. Never had balance issues, or setting up for tricks.
Rusty Chambers righttt, same here. ppl call me silly for it but it’s comfortable for me. and there no problems
Not really sure why you watched the video, but thanks for checking it out and glad it works for you!
To each their own! I find it worked better for me personally!
Omg thank you!! I would always mongo and a lot of people would say it’s “wrong” so I would get embarrassed after I was doing it since I was 9. I learned how to do it in 30 mins THANK YOUUU!!

I appreciate this one. Hate to say I didn’t even realize I pushed mongo until I got way more in to skating recently and I see and feel why it’s worse. Thanks for an inspirational fix your shit video instead of most others I seen that just make fun of it.
hahah awesome man glad you liked it and found it helpful!
Finally a non judgemental video with actual tips
Glad you found it helpful!

Thanks for putting captions!

@@XSProgression Not many videos put Captions on and that sucks
My question is the following:
I want to change my pushing habit.

XS Progression so good bro!
My pushing foot is killing me and swollen lol it’s never seen this much action before
I found this video as a 35 year old who hasn't skated in 15 years.
I was a street skater. I always pushed Mongo and didn't even know. I was a decent skater. Did a lot of gaps and basic tricks. Anyway, now that UA-cam exists I tried to relearn. After almost 2 months I've gone back to Mongo. I am just able to do better that way.
Cool man glad to hear you got back into skating! To each their own. This vid is just for those that wanna switch it up.
Awesome congrats on switching it up!
The tip blew my mind! just do it
🤯
What do you call that?: Running then dropping the board then riding?
I just got back into skating with the pandemic and everything. There's no cheating the practice, but ditching mongo is the way to go! There's way more balance and stability, and less play with the front trucks over bumps and stuff.
100%! Welcome back
Omg I need to practice
Haha part of the game! Have fun!
Julianna Noa no problem! Yeah it’s pretty common for sure. Not too hard to fix though! Keep practicing and you’ll get it better and better!
Just started skating again after 15 years . Unfortunately, I taught myself mongo since I didn't know any better back then. Here's to starting all over.
icecreaman805 welcome back! You’ll switch it up fast I’m sure
Yep, stopped skating like 13 years ago. Decided to pick it back up. I've gone from regular mongo to goofy regular pushing.
Thats a pretty interesting switch up after those years haha. Really cool though and welcome back to skating!
Wow that was genius
I pushed mongo for 5 months and I learned a couple of tricks but now that I push regular I can’t do the tricks anymore unless I push goofy. I can’t push goofy. Do you think I should re-learn my tricks in the regular stance or try to learn goofy and keep all my tricks?
When you do the tricks, which foot is on the front of the board?
@@XSProgression my left foot
I pushed Regular for a few months when I started Skateboarding 45 years ago. Then I switched to
Mongo for some reason.
