uhhh, the arrowhead CMs said they want this, they;ve privated their X account and taken tweets down about it after they got caught out contradicting the CEO and twinbeard.
its misinfo to say arrowhead deserves no blame, the screenshots of the tweets are out there, other youtubers did include them in their videos.;
arrowhead CMs are a problem, theyve been rude and contradictory throughout this incident, CMs are just like this, that industry has some serious toxicity and mental health issues, they all hate their players.
you just know theres a problem when all CMs have twitter accounts with the same mental illness advertisements in their bios in the form of political nonsense nobody cares about and in fact, many of us play games like helldivers precisely because such nonsense is absent from the game unlike so many others, and yet their CMs are clearly chomping at the bit to behave like blizzard or EA...

just curious, but is there something I'm missing? Why is this such a big deal... I'm pretty sure I was required to make a PSN account when I signed up a few months ago and it took like 5 minutes???
Because sony gets big-time hacked like every 2 years, and now if you link your steam account, it will also be in danger.
I mean hell, if you wanna just give hackers your steam account with all the attached payment options, then sure, linking the accounts isn't bad.
read the tos and you would delete that account. its full of dei woke garbage. that aside they sold the game where psn isnt even a thing. like half the countrys it was sold in.
1. They waited until people are well out of the refound period. Meaning someone like me who will refound if 3rd party is required cannot refound anymore.
2. They sold it in countries where they do not offer PSN accounts so those people cannot legaly make an account. This includes a handfull of friends of mine who will be fully locked out without the option.

Well yeah, account is free to setup and its easy to do, Its really whats behind it though. The game has been going now for a while and all of a sudden they are now attaching the requirement of needing it to play the game. Its more the principle of it now. From the corporate greed side of things they are adding it to a game that has blown up in popularity on the pc side which to sony is a way to snag the pc playerbase as new PSN accounts to pretty much inflate their quarterly report so they can say to their share holders...hey look how many people we have who have signed up to the PSN. There is also the very disingenuous nature of it all because they are selling the game in countries where PSN has been literally banned. People in those countries have been happily playing the game since launch and now they wont be able to even play it because of the new PSN requirement. To go a step further PSN or sony has had multiple data breaches over the years and they continue to have data breaches to this day. The less accounts you need to setup to play something the better in my opinion and having that requirement is absurd to begine with. So yeah, its easy to setup but everything thats behind that new requirement is whats not sitting right with people and rightly so. Before saying its no big deal maybe inform yourself on what your doing. It does matter.

Xbox doesn't use it to ban users for saying words they don't like. I can play gta and say whatever I please without the fear of some snowflake getting offended who isnt even in the server with me.

@@terivenverien1849 oh xbox totaly does. who other then cheaters still plays gta online. also these games did it day one not as a option for crossplay then decide nope its mandatory now. dont forget this game was sold world wide and half the players cant even make psn accounts. to make it even worse some of those countrys reqire a ps5 to make a account. its pretty dam clear forced psn was never on the table untill this game got poplure.
