Am I the only one who's impressed by the fact that Bruce didn't skip a beat while he was crowd surfing?
Yesssss!!!! I could never like he's in tune as well
❤❤❤
God this is pure Magic....It don’t get any better than this kids...This is what MUSIC is all About!!
Ladies and gentlemen, The Boss.
In that very fine flesh
God damn right!!!!
It’s 8:30am and I’m on the train heading home wanting to dance up and down the car cause of this song/video! BRUUUUUCE!!!!!!!!
Him singing “I’m all alone” while crowdsurfing is such a magical moment
Not sure crowd surfing was a thing back then - a man ahead of his time 😀. It was the early 80s when I saw him at the Spectrum. Back when Mic's were still wired.....he went up to the second level and was still singing. I don't remember the song but I think it was something from Greetings.
The greatest performer alive.. hands down.
02:50 According to Wikipedia, the first documented video of crowd surfing! Iggy Pop did it before this, but apparently wasn't caught on tape.
Surely he did this on Spirit in the Night in the '70s? Or was he not actually surfing then?
A good observation! I don't know how strict the definition of crowd surfing is and whether his outings during Spirit in the Night match it. Someone who was around back then may remember what exactly went on. 🙂
Iggy was usually covered in blood so the crowd was trying to get away.
@@daveconlin8342 hahaha, yeah! 😅
link?
Bruce was a huge Elvis fan and you can see the moves here! Saw my first live concert in 1984... I loved Elvis and Bruce just makes my day! Thank you Boss... no one can match you!
Only THE WHO IS up there with THE BOSS. I HAVE SEEN THE WHO 5 TIME'S AND I HAVE SEEN BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN 4 TIMES. THE WHO WAS ONE OF THE FIRST CONCERTS BRUCE EVER SEEN. HIM JUMPING AROUND PLAYING THE GUITAR THAT'S PETE TOWNSHEND HE IS GETTING THAT FROM I SAW AN INTERVIEW HE SAID A LOT OF THAT ABOUT THE WHO. BUT THEY ARE THE GREATEST ROCK BANDS EVER.
Don't forget he has probably the greatest backing band of all time in terms of versatility and overall talent the E Street band must never be overlooked
Clarence!!!! Missing Clarence is a full-time job.❤️❤️🎵🎵
Love that extended intro.
The cheer that follows the Big Man line in every performance of this song always gets to me, especially now.
27/09/2020 ❤️.... Apaixonado desde meus 6 anos por essa fera. I love you Bruce 🇧🇷
Impossível não AMAR Bruce Springsteen 🎸🎤🤴💎💘💯💯conheci apenas 2 anos... é amor a primeira vista💘
That moment when the lights come on is just awesome. It gave me chills and I'm not even that huge of a fan. Makes you realize how great a front man Bruce is.
Why am i sooo obessed with Bruce!??? Ugghhh im so in love like his voice could take me to the bedroom!
because he's one of the only nice seeming famous white boys 😂
3:00 A galera devolve ele para o palco: Que momento!!! É o cara! 👏👏👏👏
Rest in Peace, Clarence Clemons. 🙏🎷
And Danny Federici too😔
@@cathyskywalker77yups!!!!!🩵🩵🩵❤️❤️❤️🎵🎵
No cellphones , thats a blessing. The Boss and the E,.street band at the top of their game. Great version!
AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I always loved how in live versions of Tenth Avenue, just after the sax kicks in, Max does a lengthy drumroll before laying down the rhythm.
The greatest nights of my life, being young, seeing Bruce in concert so many times. Man I was lucky.
If u have never saw Bruce live don't know what your missing
Well at least saw him once yesterday so glad, because now i know what i have missed all this years, but yesterday made up for all of that❤
This has to be the greatest live version of this amazing song...The Boss and the boys at the top of their game!
@Jeremy Karew From the Reunion Tour...yeah that’s a great one too. I was at one of those shows!
I like more the heishinki in 2012 the intro have more horns and piano more precense
ua-cam.com/video/r1twvwbB_cU/v-deo.html
Both of those are good, 2012 and the reunion tour, but this version is just better in my opinion.
Elvis is alive!! 😂
I saw him two weeks after this show (when I was age 19) and was sore for a couple of days from being in the audience but he did another show the very next night.
ua-cam.com/video/m8ar38jz--Q/v-deo.html
My grandfather saw him ten times live. He was his favorite artist
This is what the internet was made for. I'm speechless. Thank you.
I had the chance to attend one of his concerts, he is really phenomenal, he gives us a beautiful proof of all that music brings us, joy, friendship, communion, love of music, life!
He is possessed by demon
@@Anticommunism99 How do you figure? He’s more Christian than you clearly.
3:04 ladies and gentlemen is when you will see genuine fear in someone's eyes. It was at that moment Bruce realized... he may never see the things avenue again
And the Big Man left the band 😔
That is how crowds use to Jam before cell phones!
Exactly.
BS, I’m jamming to this even with a cell phone!
Nobody bonds with the audience like the Boss.
Bruce was not happy about that microphone not working. You can see he had to find one working right and he slammed the one on the stage next to the drums. But he never missed a beat to the song or anything like that. He was born to do this and only this. It's way he's in his 70s and still going strong. THE BOSS
This was actually deliberate. He switches to a wireless mic before going out into the audience. Pretty routine at the time.
@@mikederrico6776 has johnny Carson would say. I DID NOT KNOW THAT. THANK you Mike. Learn something new every few years or so ha ha ha. Really thanks dude 😎
I was at this show !!
I love you Bruce ❤️
Congratulations!!!!
Incredible show!!

Dont lie people, How many of you can say you have had a 'BRUCE' GASAM ....
It’s just amazing the building didn’t tumble to the ground.
He enjoyed the fans as much as they enjoyed him
Love him younger and older if we could just go back good
The boss and the band are just pure class plain and simple end of discussion, l🔊🎼🎻🎸📯🎷🎵🎶🎵🎵🥁😊💪💪
Saw him live two consecutive nights in the 1980s at Sheffield United ground, amazing gigs . I wasn't even much of a fan before I went !
oh Bruce, don't like being this age but my God we had the BEST music, just listened to Daavid Gilmore doing Comf Numb When I saw Bruce on River tour in Austin ,they opened with this, screaming like a little girl!!!!
comfortably numb is a shite song

Crowd-surfing long before it became popular - nice!
My boy Bruce.. one of the white folk with most melanin, no doubt!
The master at work
The greatest live song ever. Every different tour version is fantastic!!
Mr Bruce is the best Singer ever he is
Really the Boss 🥰😇❤
R.I.P. Big Man!!!!!!
God bless you, man...
Esos tiempos en que Bruce Springsteen era una verdadera arma letal y más aún acompañado por su E Street Band.
The piano made the beginning of this. Made the hell out of it
This is why i pay for the internet!
When I was 17 years old and I was allowed to dance once only, they often played hard rock that night and I didn't like it probably because I was too fragile a girl and maybe also because a great romantic accepts something like today's music of Bruce where he is full of calmness and tenderness, yet I have learned to accept some of his wildness from his youth and I love it. I love that after all these years he is filled with feeling and a beautiful soul, that he can merge with his song in absolute detail and I can't resist merging.
@Bruce Springsteen Thank you☺
OMFG what a fukin performer! This is fucking music
"Now wait a minute! Bring us back!" 😂😂
Grande Bruce Springsteen 🎸🎤 Love💘🤴💎💯💯💯
Listening today on the 10th anniversary of Clarence’s death.
Gee what memories I have of watching him sing this live so many times. Thank you. Thank you.
That guy playing the Bass would make a great right hand man as a Mafioso underboss.Someone should cast him in a t.v. series.
In next life I want to be born in the 60s so I can go to this concert😜😂😂
The boy's got some moves.....
I lived on 10th Avenue in Manhattan for many years that honestly were some of the best in my life. 10th Avenue had great bars and it helped with free drinks if you dated one of its hot bartenders which I did. This was after Giuliani started cleaning up the city but 10th Avenue still had its grit, edge, junkies, streetwalkers and views of the World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. Believe me, there is a such thing as a 10th Avenue Freeze Out. I’m happy to say I got to be there.
YES! This song is so NYC it really was and still like this
Turn around the corner things got quite real fast
One of my favorite songs
Not just Springsteen's
Just a killer song
And yea love Bruce
This vids great!
So many hits, how do I choose the best one lol 😆 😅 go bruce, keep them coming handsome. Lots of passion for the people and music.💙
I miss you, Big Man.
Encontrei um acústico tipo storietellers na Netflix maravilhoso. Vale conferir #SpringsteenOnBroadway
Man this was a killer rendition !! he just knocked it out of the stadium
A evolução de Spirit in The Night, que já era 8/10!
And on guitar ... Silvio Dante!!
So beautiful to see the trust he has in the crowd and not one cell phone as far as the eye can see!
That's called a cult not nice at all
@@Anticommunism99🤣
Singing while crowd surfing - even at 60! Never misses a beat! Who does that? Ladies and Gentlemen - The Boss!
He wasn't 60 yet lol. In his 30s in this video
@@cathyskywalker77he was 60 in the video,. he's 100 now

Is that the guy from the Sopranos? I swear I’ve seen that drummer on some late night show too.
Max Weinberg was the musical director of Conan O'Brien's band for a decade or more.
Steve Van Zandt is Silvio Dante.

LOLI still have the ticket stub from born USA tour at Alpine Valley, Wisconsin. It was $12 and 50 frequent cents. My how Times have changed thank you bruce he's three bands for all memories
I'm '76... Bruce in this performance ist truly pure Magic. But, isn't it playback? I'd like to believe otherwise...
In 1980 I went to ASU from New York and kept passing the ticket booth to see when the line would form for Bruce tickets. Three days before they went on sale, I see a kid on a lounge chair and I run back home to get my stuff to become the second person on line. Me and this kid from Jersey didn’t see another person on line for another 2 days. Bruce just wasn’t a huge star out West yet. Second ticket bought but only got 7th row and was not close enough for the crowd surfing. I’ve seen Bruce around 100 more times since then but that show was certainly memorable.
Love you Bruce And The E Street Band!! 💗💝🙏🇺🇲😷🥰☮️💖🎵🎶🇺🇲
Rock n Roll, ladies and gentlemen. A million years from now, when humanity is gone, and the aliens are wondering what we had to give to this planet, they will stumble upon this Writing and this Energy, and they will realize why we existed in the first place: Listen to this gorgeous howl into the Dark, and you understand why we laugh at Midnight!
The Boss! E Street! Astounding Performance! RIP Clarence Clemons 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I LOVE BRUCE AND THE E STREET BAND!!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY 🎉🎂🎉🎉

I was 14 in 1980. And rooked out of tickets to see him at Boston Garden. It took me until 1995 to see him live. Some things are worth waiting for.
