Yes, the L version with a 3rd row seat that is not usable is a fail. I like the RX350 as a two row crossover. I am unimpressed with how the V-6 performs, and in the end the vehicle weighs too much.
The regular 2020 RX 350 Executive Package is the one to get. Looks much better from the outside and has more features inside i.e. pano-roof, heated rear seats.
Almost bought an L, but it was too tight for a baby seat. Unusable third row. Got the new highlander instead. Basically has all the features and then some.
I like the display having touch and pad. A lot of German cars have that. It nice when you get so frustrated with the touch pad you can just reach over and hit the icon you need. Hey Acura get the hint.
Like the display - hate the trackpad. A simple rotary dial gives you access to everything without having to reach over and/or take your eyes off the road momentarily. I have a Mazda CX-9 which gives you everything at your fingertips. Love the work you and Lori do on this channel!
Love your review. Can you start indicating if the cars have WIRELESS Apple Carplay or Android? That is very important these days. Also, I have had lexus for years and they just seem slow to advance their tech.
That third row is strictly for kids. I was always conflicted when it came to the Lexus RX as the Toyota Highlander always seemed like the more practical choice and with the XLE trim or Limited trim the interior is almost as nice as the Lexus but for a good $10k to $12k less when new.
Who is this for? Why did Lexus make this? I wonder/am hoping they produce a legit midsized three-row crossover, that's not an after-thought like this RX is.

People will come to realise that infortainment was great. Touchscreen with carplay/android auto so what else does one need - 90% of the time everyone just needs a screen to project their phone to - rest of the time its changing the radio station or making a call, which is easy. The trackpad is actually really easy once you get used to it and gives another option over the touchscreen. Physical buttons are so much easier than everything on a touchscreen when on the move - will go full circle back to buttons. Screen is also at eye level instead of the modern thing of having it below eye level on the dash. Only thing missing is wireless Carplay/AA but you can buy adaptors for that.
I think people will benefit from L if they dont need 3rd row but want a bit more extra cargo than regular RX thats about it. I always wanted LExus to step up the game and make something similar and I mean similar exact lenght as Cadillac ESV. As a father of 3 i must say dont buy GX 460 or LX 570 for family its sucks. I should of got myself an escalade a while back now i am kind of stuck with this GX which is nice but its tight and was extremely sucks with stroller and 3 kids.
I might have missed it if you said it, but does it come with Carplay or Android Auto? As always, a fantastic review! I never watched the last five minutes (I got sidetracked by one of my dogs.🤦🏾♂️😩🤣). It does have Carplay! Awesome stuff! Thanks man! Keep the good reviews coming! 😁
Yikes!!!! That brown interior reminds me of a 80's Toyota Corolla with cheap hard plastic everywhere!!! Damn Lexus, you better step up your game if you wanna survive the competition!! Lexus, our brand is.... Zzzzz.... Zzzzzz
lexus is sooo frustrating with their lackluster attempts at getting a decent 3 row SUV on market. This 350L is a joke as the third row seats are practially useless and the GX is not much better and hasnt been refreshed in like 10 years. The new 2022 LX looks nice but thats going to be a 100K+ car.
I bought the 2020 RX 350 and this is my first Lexus purchase ever. This car has some nice features, however they did not provide comfort seating in this SUV. The drivers seat is completely stiff with no real seat lumbar support. It is very uncomfortable to drive and I dislike it for that reason. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and the Lexus doesn't compare to my Jeep. I regretted my purchase pretty quick. I think it's way overpriced. I guess the silver lining is it should last a long time but I doubt I will keep it.
mm mm that green color. whoa its your fav color? we might be kindred spirits. ..needs a sunroof for the rear. gause cluster should be mechanical/physical/3D, otherwise it just looks like a flat empty place so thats where we disagree hehe
Compared to the other luxury suvs that are available, I’m really not impressed with this especially at 60k. This is basically my Toyota slightly improved. I’m aware that they are the parent company but it shows in a bad way. Everything is cheap, old, and outdated. Toyota is always behind, only banking on their reliability.

Screen is also at eye level instead of the modern thing of having it below eye level on the dash. Only thing missing is wireless Carplay/AA but you can buy adaptors for that.
Thank you for sharing your very good thoughts!
I find myself watching just because you make every car seem THAT much more interesting!
*I went back and watched it. I never watched the last five minutes (I got sidetracked by one of my dogs.🤦🏾♂️😩🤣). It does have Carplay! Awesome stuff! Thanks man! Keep the good reviews coming! 😁
Which has a smoother ride like floating on the road the 2020 lexus rx or 2020 lexus Lx?
LX
That last row made me feel super claustrophobic 😬
Yikes!!!! That brown interior reminds me of a 80's Toyota Corolla with cheap hard plastic everywhere!!! Damn Lexus, you better step up your game if you wanna survive the competition!!
Lexus, our brand is.... Zzzzz.... Zzzzzz
Three years ago today! Trying to buy one.
I love it when I see the nonfiction from Joe
Thanks for saying that!
Raiti's Rides Thanks for being such a great person.
lexus is sooo frustrating with their lackluster attempts at getting a decent 3 row SUV on market.
350 or 350L?

mm mm that green color. whoa its your fav color? we might be kindred spirits. ..needs a sunroof for the rear. gause cluster should be mechanical/physical/3D, otherwise it just looks like a flat empty place so thats where we disagree hehe
Joe like your review! Can’t wait for the new 2021! Joe redesign RX your guess? 2022 or 2023? Thanks
Thank you so much Leo for letting me share it with you! I am thinking 2022 will be a redesign.
Thanks 😊 Joe! You make my day! Happy new subscriber!
What would Raitis do? Lexus RX 2020/2021 OR KIA Telluride 2020/2021. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!! I NARROWED IT DOWN TO THOSE TWO OPTIONS. THANKS, LUIS :)
Great review. I don't like iPad style infotainment screen. Otherwise, it is a great vehicle.
Hello Joe. LEXUS VIDEO LETS GO!!!
Close but no cigar!
