Meanwhile me: Take a shot, kill a guy, feel so happy (got a kill after one mag spray), then feel so bad because the red friendly fire notification appear. Or maybe the match russian vs canada, yep, I'm still can't distinguish which friendly which foe..
I somehow always end up right behind the enemy without them noticing for a few seconds but i get scared if it's a friendly then they finally notice me and i get domed
Great explanation of the basics for a new player. I think a SL guide would be a great next video. Something more for a intermediate player that expands upon some of the mechanics of the game and the role of SL!
Hey, I just watched most of your videos and I really appreciated them! Great content, and I like that you transitioned your audio from being quieter in the earlier ones because it was kind of hard to hear you.
I’m a beginner aswell, make sure your map key is close and easily accessible (i switched mine to tab) and I’m constantly opening and closing it to see who’s around. If you don’t see a symbol, then it’s an enemy
Look at their uniforms! Nato usually have a vest that is a different color then their camo while russians have the same color. Nato have tan boots and shrubbery on their helmet while russians usually have black boots and sometimes a black skimask. Also look at your map alot, you prob don't look at the map much, try to look more at it, you can also try to understand the strategic aspect of the game and one day transition into a squadleader! I'd say don't squadlead until you get about 100 hours, might seem like alot but some people are at 1000 hours or more! Bu they are usually crazy good at the game, don't worry you'll get there some day
Thanks a ton for this. Just got into Squad and there's so much to learn. Do you think you could do a future vid on the different units and why some are considered so much better than others?
Thank you so much, I have a lot of video ideas in the works. I think the next will be an indepth dive to the different factions and a tier list for them, and from there working on a divisional breakdown. Possibly including that into the video as well.
Bought this game on steam sales… played… sucked so bad had to shame quit… 😂😂😂 & now apparently I’m studying again.. 😅 Gonna have to start taking notes & shit 😂😂😂
yeah all of the sl's on the map can see each others marks and if your squad leader gives FTL(fire team leader) they can also mark on the map and they coordinate in the command chat of where things are going or where vehicles are etc
@@makananaconda That's the secret; they don't. Neither side's commander knows the exact position of the enemy. Good communication between players with command positions and active map markers being placed and removed gives you contextual information. Commander makes decisions based on the information available and their experience/knowledge of the map and their enemy.
Great tutorial, subbed
95% of the squad community needs too watch this
Good breakdown, Urso! See you in SOF!
Looking forward to it!
3rd gameplay and i havent seen any enemies, i always got shot in different directions

I could not agree more. I have things in the works!

Great tutorial! I need a how to not Tk video 🤦♂️
bro ur stupid if u tk, check your map and see if your looking at your teammate 😭😭🙏
That's actually pretty easy. If you've got someone lined up, check ur map for blue blips. If there's none, it's a friendly.

Solid video, how’d you get the cinematics? I’m assuming you play on a server that allows replays
I use the Squad SDK my friend.

Yeah Squad has a steep learning curve, and I hope this video helped you meet that curve.
How a commander marks enemy positions on the map? He searches on the map to find each or other leaders tell him where to mark?

@@Mas0nnn357 so what's the commander role?
@@makananaconda commander coordinates other SLs and also calls in recon UAVs, airstrikes and artillery barrages
@@quadroff How commander decides to arrange the troops when he doesn't see all enemies on map?
