Some folks were having issues adding Sonos to their system. It could be related to type of smartphone, Wi-Fi speed/strength, mixing of very old Sonos like Play 1/3/5 with newer pieces like the Beam2/Arc Ultra, not updating iphone app/soundbar software first before installing, or adding a new soundbar without unpairing sub/speakers if paired to and older soundbars.
Owned Beam2 roughly 2 weeks and up until 2 days ago it worked ok. Now it keep disconnecting "product not found". Also app has been super buggy since day 1. Now i tried changing the channel my wifi was set on, from a busy to a less occupied (live in an apartment). So far it seem better but time will tell 😅
How would you rate Bose 700 for $266 (refurbished by bose) vs Beam 2 for $313? Want to get it on this blackfriday before the deal goes away. Which one should I buy?
@@DadTecc yes I will be expanding in the future. I know bose 700 is old model but would your verdict be same if i have to chose between bose 900 and beam 2? Rather let me ask this, bose vs sonos. What do you say?
I started with a Beam 1 with Symfonisk speakers. Added a Gen 3 sub when it came out a year later. Upgraded to the Beam Gen 2 when available and upgraded to the One SLs a few years ago for Black Friday deals. The Beam improved in sound quality with every piece I added and with each upgrade. The original Beam 1+Symfonisk is still being used in my office. A ton of flexibility with mixing, matching, upgrading, and moving Sonos pieces I didn't have with my old Nakamichi 7.2.4 system I purchased along side with the original Beam 1.
I heard there are issues with Sonos app currently. Did you have any trouble setting up the beam ?
The new updates largely fixed those issues

I JUST got a beam a few hours ago and had 0 problems with the app. Everything hooked up perfect

I like Bose for certain products but for home theater i prefer Sonos
@@DadTecc thank you help me make decision
I have both, using Sonos arc ultra now and I have to admit. Sonos has way more power but Bose is so much clearer sound hands down.
I bought it for 369e Sonos Beam 2 and its beast.
Now i want to buy Sonos Sub Mini for 358e black friday, do you recommend it?
Thank you
Great pairing!
