I'm so sorry that Frank couldn't join the conversation, he was greatly missed. Such an incredible actor. So very happy to hear from Sonia and Rick who obviously have a great respect and love for each other. Thank you to everyone involved, the memories are amazing to relive.
I got chills all over my body when Rick started telling about meeting "Roger" (Michel Zazlow). I remember so much of the show. I remember when Rick and Sonia came on Guiding Light and the characters you played. When you mentioned "Justin" Deas, I could see Buzz and Frank and all the characters appearing as if in a wonderful "Memory Parade". I miss GUIDING LIGHT and my other favorites, AS THE WORLD TURNS, ALL MY CHILDREN. Every day, I taped those shows and YOUNG & RESTLESS, then tried to watch all 4 hours after I got home from work. I still have some of those tapes. I remember "Marian Crane". Hard to believe I'm in my 8th decade and can recall so much of GL and the others, as if I were living those lives with you. Sonia, you haven't aged a day and Rick, I love your "precious metal" hair! So wonderful to see you again. Stay safe and healthy. Thanks, Locher Room, for this trip back in time. It's something we all wish for and this made it possible. Love and hugs to you from a Life-long "friend" and devoted fan. Bye, now. Donna Blackman, Missouri, USA.
@@merricat3025 Hi! I stopped watching Y&R when they kept re-casting Billy and repeatedly separated Sharon and Nick and swapping babies all over the place. It seemed that the writers had such great actors and they were just squandering their talents by repeating the same old tired plot-lines. I would sit here and think of all the different ways these actors could be guided and used so much better. I worked in an office where at least a dozen of us, some of the men included, would try to out-guess the next plots and many times we already knew what the writers were going to do. My TV decided to throw a hissy fit and that pretty much sealed the deal so I just left the TV off and started spending 24/7 with my computer. What other soaps did you watch? I had to limit myself to only the four that I mentioned in my original post. Just couldn't get interested in the others. Then the nitwit sponsors tore my favorites apart and threw them away, leaving me with 3 then 2 then 1 and Y&R finally lost a lot of it's good storylines and actors. Such a sad loss, I guess because we sort of become "family members" of our favorite characters. Hope you and yours are all safe and healthy.
