I just had a thought, why not create your own building style and turn it into a pack for Mine Colonies? I'm sure everyone here would love to add your buildings to their world.
I love and get excited when Sjin says lets build something or I have changed some stuff but when he say lets fight something its just full of frustration
It might be easiest to wait until those cave huts are all level 5 to add to it and spruce (HAH) it up properly, because otherwise you're risking your builders undoing everything within the boundaries of those huts with each upgrade. Just a thought! If they don't, you ought to be all gucci 👀
This got me thinking of maybe you can do a two tier colony. Like a sub level and upper level. Like the sub level is all filthy and for mostly production while the top level is clean and aesthetic. You gotta grab some vanilla villagers to really make the place bustling
If you find yourself in need of more soldiers, I put two barracks in my cave section and then did all the barracks towers in it and the resources were so easy that I doubled my army size in just a few hours of game play. (I dug out most of the stone because veinminer makes it so fast). It was so easy it felt like cheating.
I know that this series came out over a year ago, but I've only just discovered it recently. I'm watching it when not at home and playing Valhelsia 6 when at home. I placed a cavern residence on the surface and plan on stacking more of them on top of each other to do some sort of apartment complex. This video just started for me but hearing you say "skyscraper" makes me think that you are doing just that.
can't believe how big that place has gotten, definitely would be really assuring up those defenses now that you got that achievement though. also nice when you get to build and add your own touch to the town, really love what you can build
Bear in mind with the warehouses that they don't "talk" to each other. Couriers assigned to one warehouse will only pull from that warehouse, and I don't know if the request system for colonists allows for you to pull x amount from one warehouse and y amount from the other to equal what they need. Can't wait to see how you tackle the tower of courier huts to make it fit in better!
not sure about this particular version of minecolonies, but i play ATM7 and i have two warehouses and couriers have no issues running for supplies into the warehouse where they are not assigned to
@@capulcinka That might be part of an update I don't have! If so, I'm glad those limitations were removed. When I last checked the wiki (admittedly it was a while ago, at least three or four months) it seemed to imply that couriers would only work their assigned warehouse and wouldn't see supplies in the other warehouse. I totally might have misunderstood, though! Thanks for the heads up -- I may need to update my game owo

Hmmmm, today I will do some tests, I will pause all couriers from one warehouse, move some supplies exclusively there and see if the other couriers will run there. Will get back to you 😊
The 9 Dirt pieces is a marking for the curriers hut, in past versions the warehouse required the currier hut’s block, and it placed it there in the middle So if you stick to the same building style for both warehouse and curriers hut, they should fit (should 😂)
Yo dude if you put a mask on and right click the sun chief, he will give you his power in exchange for 9 gold blocks. The power lasts for a real time hour, if it's gone, go back to the sun chief and refresh it for free.
Hello Sjin, I see you are building the tower of New Kingdom to solve the issue supplies & logistics. How about putting a clock in the tower at the top with the create mod ? Still think you should build some of the walls with battlements (I.e Archer slots & dispenser cannons with fire charges in them). I have added to my supply ship Dispenser cannons with fire charges and have defended My colony (Knight's Cove) from raids KC 4 vs raids 0.
Man, I had to restart this one twice x.x you posted while I was taking my sister to the health food store, then I had to do all of the dishes, when I finally finished that my pot roast was finally done. By the time I got to watch this video I kept zoning out cause it was also my drawing time x.x lol but I finally finished it! Great job again! You need to put fences around your raised areas so you colonists won't fall of the edge.
I really like the skycraper idea... I'm now tempted to just build a whole colony with that concept.
I really hope he gussies up the outside of the skyscraper because right now it looks hideous lol

The dirt sqaure at the warehouse is a 'marker' for a builders hut.
Once you research 'Citizens can climb vines' you can just plant vines around your towers and let them climb to work...

do not teach the blacksmith the recipe for storage blocks into ingots, else you will cause a recipe loop makes it so the item is repeatedly crafted.
