I am so glad I saw this (and then went back and watched your 2022 video as well) before I decided on what tool to use. I have wanted to improve my campaign organization for a while now. I like to have a lot detail in my campaigns and after a while it gets too much, even when using tools like OneNote and what I have in there is quite hard to share and they can't access it without asking me. I wanted a way my players could access and read about and lookup the things they had heard in passing. This is going to make things so much more accesible for them and any new players that join. I have put my stuff in Legend Keeper and printed the map on A1 format. Tonights session is going to blow their minds and increase the immersion immensly. Thank you so much.
I picked up legendkeeper years ago because of your videos, and have been following along with your many updates using them to add ways of making my world better. Thank you for yet another resource to add to the collection.
I just finished 15 hours of work trying to recreate your screen from your other LegendKeeper DM screen video XD Now I'm just glad I can use the real thing
@justjoe7678 I'm out at the moment so don't have the link, but if you find my dedicated Legenedkeeper gm screen video here on the channel you can download the LK file and import the screen directly now. I'll update this video with a link to it later on too
Your DM screen in your Bible is incredible. Is there a way to download it to my LegendKeeper? I have serious doubts i could create a similar thing with my skills
This has been immensely useful, thank you! I'm using a bit more barebones way myself and I think I could incorporate some of your ideas like the calendar to my games. If I may ask, how do you use your Adventures versus Sessions? Can an adventure take multiple sessions or are they the same in your system? Also I'd like to hear more about how you use your adventure ideas in your system.
You don't even need to be a patron (though they do get a bunch of awesome stuff). You can browse a public fork of my world with all my templates here: www.legendkeeper.com/app/cldbsdaxzbci70891hblm05ht
Man I really love legend keeper and your videos always make me sway and cave in even more, but sadly a monthly subscription for me is out of the question when I play casually and games happen rarely between me and my friends!
Monthly subs are definitely not for everyone. If you're not running a map-focused game and can manage with a more text-forward approach, check out Notion. it's free and has a really similar structure to LK so a lot of the commands and functions are similar.
Hey, thanks very much for the vidio. I greatly appreciate your tips and systems for worldbuilding shown here and previously. There is one slight problem with the GM Bible, although it might be related to how LK works: We can not see the secret pages (obviously), especially not the secret Parts of the templates. This does present a bit of an issue. Do you see a way to fix that, if you are willing to? Thank you!
At the moment I don't think it can be fixed without me manually going through and changing all the secret sections to be non-secret. I do believe LK is bringing out more granular permissions in the future which might help with that issue, but it is a problem you're right! Going through and un-secreting the templates will be easy enough to do as a stopgap, and I'll go and do that right now.
I knew that I wanted to start in the broader Jewel Cities area, but then I put together a setting guide for my players which included intros to each of the nations, and then let them decide which particular nation to start in, which also somewhat dictated the starting campaign tone. Then I picked a place in the region they chose (the Vale) and we got started.
Affordability is different for different people, and I get that some folks inherently don't like SaaS business models. If you want free options, World Anvil has a free tier, Masterscreen is free, or there's options like Notion or OneNote.
@@IcarusGames I will use Fantasia archive, free and it doesn't sale your data. No internet needed. People. Should start to care about what to buy or not. There is good choice choice in life. Awards those who make the right one
@arekisan5239 People are free to choose what they like, there is not "one right choice." You're allowed to think what you will about LegendKeeper. They deserve to make money for such an incredible tool to us DM's.

I can tell you now I'm on the verge of doing the same thing, thanks for the heads up on how long I should expect it to take me. RIP lmao

I'm always so impressed with your worldbuilding, man. So structured.
Glad you enjoyed!
I'm definitely going to have to watch this video a couple more times.
Looks stunning. Will be checking out LegendKeeper.
Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for another great Legendkeeper Ressource Video.
is there a way to Copy / Import the whole Bible in my Legendkeeper?
Not that I know of yet. I believe that is something that might be coming in the future, but I'm not certain.

Thanks for wondefull video which helped me alot with legendkeeper possibilities 👍
Glad it helped!
Not sure how ive missed this in all my years... lol😅

Most of my adventures are one session, but when they span multiple sessions, I just renumber the article to something like "Adventure 16, 17, & 18".
Do you share your GM bible for patreons to copy? Or make by hand? Love this content, super inspiring.

Your map is fab - what's the scale of each hex?
Each hex is 25 miles I believe, so it's a pretty sizeable area for play. I wanted somewhere I could set my next several campaigns.
Do you have a place where you share your templates?
What did you make your maps in? they look great!
They were made in inkarnate.
What did you use to make your calendar?
The fancy image of the calendar I made using the Affinity suite. I've got a video talking about how I use it to make RPG stuff here on the channel 😊
How do you make some icons transparent?
Right click>hide pin 😊
@@IcarusGames Should've tried that 😅, thanks.

Thank you so much for this! Can you share the link to that weather generator?
Took me some digging to find the source again, but here you go: www.reddit.com/r/rpg/comments/omtfc7/4_season_weather_table_hex_easy_and_logical/

Hey Anto, nice vid! How did you decide in which city to start this new campaign?? And why did you choose this particular place?
I knew that I wanted to start in the broader Jewel Cities area, but then I put together a setting guide for my players which included intros to each of the nations, and then let them decide which particular nation to start in, which also somewhat dictated the starting campaign tone. Moonday
Towerday
Wineday
Thunderday
Fireday
Starday
Sunday
These are the best names for the days ive ever seen. Very nice
Thanks 😊 glad you like them!
Thank you for sharing the video and your DM screen. You saved me hours of work and I appreciate you. Your videos also are super helpful.
This is what I wish my world would look like in LK, great work!
really useful
Sorry, but the cost is absurd. Something like that should be software base and nearly free.
