Finally someone who actually gets on top of the thing they climbed. The most anticlimactic part of climbing videos on UA-cam is when they get to the top and just drop down lol. Gimme a celebration for your accomplishment!
Haha. Yeah, there is something extra nice about actually getting on top of the thing you're climbing. Topping out is also a skill of it's own. It can be the most challenging bit sometimes!
@@PhillipBoothClimbs Thanks, that's really cool to know! I'm not a climber, haven't been on a wall since I was like twelve, and at 19 I got hit by a car and have been physically disabled ever since, so even though I very much enjoyed my short stint climbing (that wall I mentioned was at a summer camp, and I spent as much time as I could climbing it,) I can't do it myself anymore. Despite that, though, I really like watching climbing videos to live vicariously through them, and it's always interesting to learn something new
@@fisharepeopletoo9653 No problem at all 🙂 Sometimes the nuances in climbing can be hard to spot. When trying to figure out a challenging sequence it can be a subtle shift in body weight, or pushing/pulling just a little bit differently that can make all the difference. Climbers tend to be super nice and friendly people. If you can, you should get outside and hang out with some people while their climbing. The other part of climbing that is nice is being out in nature.
His Jedi friend though..
🤣 The force is a legitimate climbing technique.
