Fun fact about Yellow: She is 2 years younger than Red in manga. And also Yellow is different than other Kanto Pokedex holders. Unlike Red, Blue, and Green, Yellow have a supernatural powers of the Viridian Forest alongside Lance and Giovanni. Yellow have the ability to use telepathy/psychic powers, heals pokemon, reads the minds of pokemon, and leveling her pokemon into the highest level (presumed to be level 85) at will. After the disappearance of Red in Yellow arc, she disguise herself as a boy by wearing a straw hat to hide her long hair and took a journey on her own to find Red (with Blue and Green's help). And then in the end of Yellow arc, Yellow finally saves Red while Red think Yellow as a boy. At the end of GSC arc, Yellow reveals her true gender to Red which leaves him in shock since Red thought Yellow is a boy. Also, Hidenori Kusaka (The writer of Pokemon Adventures manga) mention that Red and Yellow are in a relationship and according to Serebii, Yellow is Red's current lover (Red's Pikachu and Yellow's Pikachu are an actual couple and they have a baby Pichu named Pibo as Gold's Pichu in GSC arc). She is one of my favourite Female pokemon characters in pokemon franchise. Too bad most people didn't know about Yellow and the Pokemon Manga.

Lance and Giovanni also have the same powers as Yellow since they are also born in the viridian forest
Every 10 years a trainer with special powers is born in the forest
This game is actually a really good representation of the manga (which can be really dark at some points), so for all the people that liked the game consider giving the manga a try. It's definitely worth it
yaa no, the manga is basically the emo version of the games. no reason to make half of the gym leaders evil and be gory for the sake of it
And it's gets really darker and darker

People should really stop mispreading the manga being gory when the only gory things is in the Pokemon Tower with that Arbok and it still came out alive after that.
I hope the creator is doing okay now. I remember him getting badly bullied in pokecommunity some years ago. The fact that he never won hack of the year for this is just insane.

To be fair, the Arbok doesn’t actually die. It’s later revealed to be able to regrow itself.

The Orange Arc is also awesome. You should try playing through the Orange Islands Arc, too.

Things got really dark in there, but it was really fun to go through it.

Fun fact, the epilogue is technically the end of the story. After the epilogue, Adventures Red Chapter (the game) cuts off from following the manga and builds it's own, surprisingly good and much darker story. The characters in Victory Road (White, Brown, Pink etc.) are all original characters to the game that all have important roles in Orange Islands. So far, we don't have a full fangame adaptation for anything after the end of this game.
Want this series to continue with the manga story.

@MCAnimationofficial that's definitely not it. Most anime adaptations are of the manga with just lil changes here and there. They just went a whole different route
It somehow made swordward and shieldbert good
as someone who was in love with the manga this is incredible (the villains actually felt believable and real)
Man I forgot how crazy Pokémon Adventures is. And I've only read a little of it. Like I remember the part with the zombie Psyduck and the Arbok being cut in half very well. Not sure I read much past that at least in the Red arc. The Adventures manga is still ongoing actually, though I don't know if they are still calling it Pokémon Adventures nowadays. I read a couple volumes of the Sun and Moon and the Sword and Shield arcs. The Sword and Shield one is pretty cool - Sword (aka the male player character) is able to repair Pokémon tools, and Shield (the female player character) is a hacker who works with Professor Magnolia.
I always loved the "special abilities" of the protagonists of the Adventure Manga
When Green cut the arbok in half it didnt actually die, in Yellows ark it os revealed that Kogas arbok can actually regenerate from anything as long as its head isnt cut off
I'm pretty sure that being sliced in half also counts as headless. But yes. It is immortal.
My favorite of the manga gen 1 characters is red but green blue and yellow are all absolutely amazing too.
I love how green goes from the mean rival to good friends. Honestly all of them and their friendships is great in the manga.
But the rivals name is green and the girl is blue because in Japan Pokémon red and green released. Most people over in the west call him blue because red and blue released. I read the fan translation before buying the official manga so I always call the male rival green and the girl blue
Oh and my favorite Pokémon was vee being able to change forms. Also giant spoon mewtwo and the 3 legendary birds combined. The Pokémon manga is crazy and amazing they should animate it.

cause it was marketed to little kids in the beginning, don't think them seeing pokémon actually die with blood everywhere would've been ideal, although i actually enjoy this version of pokémon, it makes more sense. thousands of battles and you never even see a pokémon bleed in the main series lol

It's great to see that this game keeps improving. I started playing this when it's still ver 1 when there's still no trainer sprites every time there's a dialogue. The pacing is different and even better too.
Now it's ended. But the 2nd version has released
when i accidentally used teleport from my kadabra and i got teleported to the league skipping a lot of the story
btw the game adds a lot of filler stuff that isnt actually canon to the manga , like the whole ash storyline and the orange islands stuff . that doesnt happen in the manga . just thought i'd let you know

@@RuffledRowlitPlays i'm glad you enjoyed it. since the red chapter is the only one that has a finished game about it , i hope you consider reading the yellow arc and the arcs after that too , since thats when the story ACTUALLY gets good (sinnoh arc and black and white arc were peak imo)
Well it is called pallet town, as in a color pallet. Makes sense most trainers are based off of a color.

tbh, the name of the girl is Blue and the guy is Green originally in Japan, just don’t know why they decided to translate the girl to Green and the boy to Blue in America franchise.
I myself refer calling them by their original name tho, and have been calling them like that since the beginning

A little goofy how they switched the names for Blue and Green, but still a pretty nice representation of the manga.

If you read the manga during the E4 arc it's revealed that Koga's Arbok has the power to regenerate
And only dead Pokemon shown was an Illusion of a Walking Psyduck Corpse

I’m surprised they didn’t have a mini fight in the safari zone when the weepingbell kill a bunch of fearows and try to drain reds blood and one of his mons evolve and save him (I believe it’s bulbasaur but it’s been a few years since I read the manga last)
Some story arcs in this game aren't in the Manga
Characters like Pink, Brown and Grey are Original characters for this game. As well as the Special Chapter fan game
I always wanted to play the Pokemon manga hack roms but they were in early beta by the time so i didn't even play it. Hopefully they are now in almost/full complete state.
This game is really dark it also has a lot of side quest Which can get u cool Pokémon like a fairy water siren milotic
In red blue and green proper Blaine and Fuji worked for reocket, if you read the actual translations of the diaries in the cinnibar mansion you find it its actually a lab, Mewtwo ISNT a clone but a mutated baby mew and Blaine and Fuji have skeletons.

I dont know why they renamed blue and green but i loved Pokemon Adventures! It was great (I think it kinda fell off around black and white and that says something because thats my favorite gen) The manga went way deeper into the world of Pokemon than I feel the anime or games have done (Except maybe Pokemon Origins, that was pretty good)
Personally I think it fell off after BW or arguably XY. I consider B2W2 part of post-XY because of its constant hiatus but really you can feel how rushed the story is after those arcs.
Because that's his original name, they switched them after some time for the English release of the manga since the west got red and blue instead of red and green for the gen 1 games, for me it's weirder to call him blue.

This game is awesome! Make sure you get the c patch version. I was literally addicted to this game. My only issue was the very slow leveling up toward the end.

Everything after the epilogue and a lot of the side quests are original to the game, but the manga is still dark by comparison to other Pokemon media

Hold on. In the Adventure Red manga, isnt it Blue Oak and Green is the girl, or was it also swapped in the Japanese version too? Also, I remember playing this years ago. I loved this manga, and I loved that someone made a romhack.

It is because the first two versions are red (Japanese) and green. Then blue came out. Then red was remade with blue for the US. So there's 2 red versions( Japanese red and us red), green (Japan exclusive) , blue (3rd version in Japan) and yellow (4th version in Japan)
