Thanks! There was a “dead spot” with the throttle on my used X5 when getting the car moving from a standstill. Almost felt like slipping the clutch too much in a manual car. Resetting the adaptation fixed it!
Ok I have a 528i so can you tell me what’s going on when I drive it be jerking a little bit and then when I turn off the car once I get to my destination I’ll turn the car on it will shake while I’m trying to start it but won’t start so I gotta wait a while and then it will start ?
I have a 2010 x5 30i, and doesnt even start the car, it has good battery and it does hear the fuel pump working , but it doesnt start,, anyone could suggest what could i do?
This has worked on my e70 x5 a treat. Feels excellent in every gear now. Thankyou for the advice.

Holding the gas pedal won't reset transmission adaption...
It’s water pump self bleeding when you hold the accelerator on E70 and equivalent for years and shapes and also you need to keep it on a charger port

Check the fuel relay or injectors

Check starter relay. Hopefully its not the starter itself cause its a big job. But still doable.
Does it work if you don’t have a start button?
