- What a week!
It was so fun meeting all of you and sharing our love for these magnificent plants!
I’m excited to come back for phase 2 and meet even move of you friendly, generous Central Valley folks!
This is the color palette I've been waiting for... muted, pastel, gorgeous. Really well done, a creative departure from your usual climate and plant/rock choices. I hope all the neighbors get in on the DFS action! Opening up a new market!
Amazing how you can create an amazing landscape in such a hostile climate. Love it!
Can't wait to see phase 2 and 3 . ☀ 🌵 ☀ 🌵 ☀ 🌵 🌵 🌵 🌵 😎 X
Just stunning! Love love love the grand reveal! The homeowners are going to enjoy the garden fir years to come!
Wow!
Yes, you hit the first hot spurt of the year….there will be days, and days, and days of 110 degree temps this summer…in the California zones 9, 9A, and
9B. Plants have to be really tough to survive this.
What can I say but another awesome installation. Awesome succulent tapestry and awesome cacti colony. Love, Love, ❤️
This instalation is so sweet. The walkway is so beautiful. Laura and Team DFS, you've done it again!
stunning! Great to see those cactus blooming!!
Cactus blooms are the best! Lol the bees are gonna go wild in the garden
Nailed it. Great that so much is in bloom for grandv reveal.
A wonderful visit and so much inspiration! Thank you and your wonderful team for my wonderful visit ! Beautiful installation!
Thanks for coming by! We loved meeting you!
Omg it's amazing
Love it 💗
Love the plant choices! I like the more muted, low key vibe.
Another MAGNIFICENT MASTERPIECE in the books🌵🌵
Yay. Early post. The cactus blooms look fabulous and I actually like the plastic edging. It gives definition to the different areas of the garden. The left side of the installation in particular has an English garden look to it because of the pink flowers. All in all lovely!
I like the plastic edging too!
Beautiful Laura! Could you gives info about about the irrigation lines? I couldnt find the micro lines at home depot or on the website. Thanks!
Looks great. Love that you are stopping by Roseville. Would you do an installation in Roseville? I'm Roseville 9b. I did not think it was possible.
Love love your work ❤️ 💕 💖
I’d consider it!

Oh mom you have truly built an empire. I say this to you personally but yes on here, knowing your growth I am so proud of you and congratulations truly. Your work is impeccable congratulations 🎊 👏 I pray and work hard to be as successful and free in my wor as you are. I'm also bragging lol because my parents built a workstation for me at home and within a day I was inspired and got right on back into. I even took a specime of each plant and and converted our old Pol now filled in, into a massive succulent garden with NO rules at all. You grow like this who cares you're going here haha it's packed full and we're going to let it just grow wild and live off God's blessings. It's going g to look amazing 0and so good to see in a matter of weeks how many plants are just taking so quickly. I'm loving it. WI send pics I still owe you shots of my aloe arboresence how I made them into singles and how stunning they look and they last 3 years before any side shoots come so you may appreciate that for future work. They're so damn hardy and I .are some quick bux yesterday. Agave angustifolia, P. Afras and pencil cacti along a wall as a barrier for a new client wow flat crappy grass bcos I know they're tough just spread them through and with experience they're gonna look great with all the different textures etc. Have a fabulous wknd. Lots of love and happy gardening blessings.
How funny that this video popped up in my feed, I live in Manteca. lol ! What a beautiful garden !!
Me too! Grew up in Lathrop and have lived here for 40 years now!

Thanks, Aileen! We enjoyed you and your family, too!
Even on the video the blonde white top dressing and the multi red colored lava stand out. Go Manteca cacti and succulents!

Eden Landscape and Garden Supply in Lathrop is a great family owned business with lots of the types of rockery needed for a beautiful succulent garden like this one! Great job in Manteca!
NOË IS MY BEST FRIEND!!!! SHES AMAZING!! BEAUTIFUL WORK!!!
She’s awesome!!!
I love it 🥰 beautiful 😍
9b as well. This looks beautiful, and will only be more impressive as it grows!
Mantecca installation is beautiful. Glad you're in this part of California. Hope to see you in Sacramento sometime.
The tapestry is amazing!! Love your work💪
amazing! You and your team never disappoint, Laura!! I hope you can film the stockton garden!
If it were my yard I’d do some green turf/grass in the back to accent the foliage in the garden beds.
Wow! Garden very good job 👍💞💕
Amo su trabajo !!!
😍😻 Awesome 🌵
What a treat to see the cacti blooming!!😍🤩 it all looks so good. I’m going to look for smaller versions of some of these plants for my patio.
Have a wonderful time up north (north, right?) for hopefully a relaxing vacation!
So cool to see you in the Central Valley!!! This is looks great.
I live in zone 9b and this video just gave me so much hope! Laura and DFS, you guys did it again, even in this hostile environment. You guys are amazing ❤
Looks gorg! What a joy for them to watch the tapestry grow each day in their backyard. Poor Jacaranda - the butta mess tree - she's gorgeous, but her mess... Are there any special tips you gave them for keeping up with the fallen blooms? A daily blower session? Not sure if that's even possible to keep up on the mess of a Jacaranda tree! But the colors of the rock certainly play beautifully off the lavender. Knocked it out of the park Team DFS!
Roseville? Omg, very close to me. Safe travels
Beautiful job
Very beautiful. I live in Sacramento so I can relate to the heat. I just started by succulent journey in June 2021. Everything in pots and all but a few are still thriving.
Beautiful job. Nice to see Team DFS so close to my area.
Poot's Cactus Nursery is wonderful I shop there quite often.
Amazing transformation 😍
I am minutes from Roseville. I would love to meet you sometime.
Excellent job so beautiful
I’ve had Jacarandas and even though the leaves are small, they can be quite messy. I suggest mulching behind the installation and using a leaf blower to blow debris against the fence to drop there. Leaf stems can just be tossed onto the mulch area to decompose.
Really beautiful work,as usual, team DFS..!
Bill in Florida…!!!
It all looks beautiful. I like the small stacked stone wall as a backdrop
looks fantastic team Laura.the colours is amasing
I love itt!! can't wait for the next phase!!
Beautiful Laura and team DFS! Next time give us a heads up on IG I'd love to volunteer my labor next time you're nearby, I'm in the east bay and Manteca isn't too far from me 😁❣️
Love it! I’m in the same zone 9b but in Sacramento. So cool local succulent gardeners visited 💚 I’m interested in a club if one was formed. Thank you 🤘🏽
Love it! I will one day convert our backyard to a succulent cacti garden here in Rocklin, CA!
Another masterpiece! Great work! I too live in 9B and everything you did will do amazing in our zone💕
Stunning, beautiful as always you are the best designer in my opinion 🦘🐨❤️❤️🐨🦘

CA Central Valley is my stomping ground too. 💚
Wow, Wow, just beautiful Laura. I just subscribed!!! I live in Arizona. Do you know of anyone in Arizona that would do a succulent landscape???? Thank you. Greetings from Arizona.
Oh baby

So gorgeous👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is gorgeous 😍 well done Laura and team DFS and volunteers involved.
such a beautiful garden you have!
Looking forward to see the Roseville gardern
gorgeous!!! 😍😍😍
😍beautiful 😍❤️🌵
Lovely installation
Knocked it out of the park once again!
Go Zone 9b yay!
👍😀🌺
🙂👍👍
How did you plant the big round cactus (barrel?) without getting stuck with needles? Good job...beautiful!
They plant those things all the time, and some are huge. You should look at some previous videos to see how the do it. I don't like planting small spikey cacti!
We just tip them over, kick off the soil, grab them by the roots and flip them into the hole😊
Will there be a follow up? Moved to Manteca a year ago from the Bay & wanted to see how the plants held up in the climate.
Beautiful Laura! Does anyone know where to get the Talavera balls?
🤩
🥰🌵
Very nice design, as someone who has lived in a similar zone I’m somewhat concerned that this was done too late in the spring. Anything that is not a cactus or agave might have a hard time getting acclimated.
Love all the Cotyledon blooms, I know succulents are not about the blooms, but they are so pretty :D Did you use any Echeveria prolifica? I grow it in pots in my greenhouse, and the little leaves pop plants all over, but they seem to grow best where they're not supposed to :/
Oh and the ruby slippers is beautiful in this garden, another great design I can't wait to see you working on it in the future :D
Hi, Laura!
What’s the name of your top dressing. I like the color that you chose and then the red lava on top. Perfect! Am an avid fan. Thanks.
California gold!
Hey, I live right here in Lathrop! If you guys need any help at all, don't hesitate to let me know!
are there any drought-tolerant 9B plants that can be used as privacy hedges or barriers to block noise and view of the roads and fences?
Where did you buy the black rose?
What are those plants with yellow flowers?
Some perennial that Tom talked me into. We’ll see how it goes.
I live in Manteca! Where is this?
I’m in 9b!!! Sign me up for a support group:)
What’s about water in 9b microclimate . Once a week?? Please reply
Yes. 10 minutes.
Laura, in what climate zone is your home in, "the land of milk and honey?"
Same stuff again and again from a One Trick Pony. Why anyone would pay for an unskilled project which can so easily be replicated is beyond me but hey McDonalds is also popular right ?
