Great guide! I am going to replace my headlight dimmer switch since my headlights go out when using turn signal while its cold. Can i skip a few steps like removing the steering wheel controls and just unscrewing the center nut to remove steering wheel? Is it also impossible if i dont have the pulling tool? I did watch some other vids for other toyota models looks similar, but cant find one for 2014-2021 tundra switch replacement
Hi! In the video, I see that the volume button on the wheel appears to be partially removed already at 4:11, for instance. Can someone please tell me if its possible to simply remove that single button/cover without removing all the internals and airbag?! Thank you so much in advance.

How come it wasn’t straight after your install? Did you just not line it up correctly. Curious as I am about to do this install myself and don’t want to end up with a crooked wheel and have to disassemble and readjust. Thanks!
Michael Shannon Not sure why, it was either too far to the left or too far to the right so I gave up and adjusted the tie rods instead.
Why did you replace your wheel? The new wheel looks identical to the stock unit. Excellent instructional video - thank you!
Georgia Fan Thanks for watching. The old wheel got damaged from the carwash place. The leather wrap on the bottom left got several small cuts. Not sure how they happened.

Hi, The steering wheel is on pretty tight so you will need a puller. You can borrow it for free from Autozone. Good luck.

Man I can’t remove the 2 screw from the side. Someone tighten it too tight. I gave 110 % to remove it with all my strength but it won’t even move a bit🤦♂️🤦♂️ any tips??

How do you know if the new steering wheel lines up correctly?
Does it hurt if the battery finger is disconnected for a long time?
Where did you buy the phone mounts Below the vents? How do you like them? Will it hold iPhone 8 Plus?

Did that fix the problem? It doesn't sound like steering wheel problem though. You should check the whole steering setup.
NK1794 I think because it don’t have a hand rail to get in the truck the steering wheel is slightly loose I need to take it in and check I like your videos

I want to change mine to leather but that air bag is nerve racking lol.
Yeah. I never liked airbags. They messed up the look of the steering wheel, although the airbags are now smaller than before so they are looking better.
If you unplug the battery before beginning, you do not have to fear the airbag.
