So TRUE. I am a airline captain and I have first hand experience with this. When I used to be a co-pilot I flew with many nasty captains who where very rude and unfriendly. I promised to myself that when I one day become a captain I will be super nice to everyone. Well I can tell you from first hand experience that this doesn't work well because everyone sees kindness as a weakness and tries to run you over. You need to find the balance between being nice and not so nice.

It is about making sure you are kind and good to the right people, and learning two things.. the difference between true people and fake people (they show you in time, so through experience) and placing boundaries to those who don't deserve your good kind side. This used to happen to me at my job,but,I started checking tha brothers trying to play games or disrespecting me.I work at my local VA hospitol ( full of vets,I'm a vet too ) but,a lot of tha brothers are jealous of me because I did 4 deployments to Iraq ( I'm a combat vet )the nurses,doctors and patients give me much more respect and compliments than they do the brothers who've worked there longer than me. This is exactly why I don't have friends. It's hard to find someone that actually shows mutual respect anymore. Sometimes it takes a while for true colors to show. The moment I get a whiff of disrespect, I'm out. I will literally stop whatever I am doing at that time and leave just to distance myself from that person or people as soon as possible. F-ing AI fluffy Hallmark cards popping up all over the place. I like the wisdom shared at times taken with a grain of salt, but not the deception in creating them! I’m weary of these, as some are targeted at mostly boosting your ego and temporarily making you feel special and good about yourself, creating a separation and slight friction between you and others, strengthening and compelling the ego. Watch out for the AI seduction slowly and subtly/ inconspicuously filtering in. It’s not the AI - it’s the manipulative ones behind the tech using it to steer and control people’s minds, and where their focus is on, primarily getting people stuck on screens, lacking autonomy, discipline, and self-control, codependent on what’s being filtered through your screens. Additionally, be weary because it’s a good way to very subtly and in elaborate and complex manner, further create and perpetuate more divide between everyone. Look at how deeply divided we are politically and otherwise today. It’s been working, and they’re interweaving the mentality of divide on far more subtle, yet incessant ways from every angle. We will fall further and further collectively until we take the blinders off and see the common threads that unite us inherently as humans. Yes, we have our differences, but they do not outweigh the things that tie us together. The weaponization of psychology is what has created these perceived vast divisions.

100% true! I have been too nice for too long to people that take full advantage of me. It’s true, they don’t respect you. I’ve been struggling with this my whole life!!!!!! The older I’m getting the less I’m willing to put up with people who have taken full advantage of my big heart ❤. I’ve been a door mat all of my life. I just keep giving and giving and giving. Every time lately that I see something that I know someone would love I would’ve bought it before. Now, I think twice. It’s not that I give to receive. Its un appreciation.
