Frankly this is the best animation I've ever seen. Arcane is close but the variety here is unparalleled. Yes it had a huge budget and the animators worked their asses off more than they were paid to, but you cannot deny quality.
25:30 The Spider-Men are not counterparts of each other, they are genuinely different people (the only ones that are counterparts are ones with the same name/identity or face) For example: Miguel is from both the future and a different universe, his Peter Parker *was* Spider-Man before he was, so he is not a counterpart of Peter
The bad news about this series is that there currently is no release date for the third movie. It was originally slated to be released in 2024 even though that sounded crazy considering the amount of production work these movies require. Checked a couple of articles and it seems 2026 or 27 might be a possibility.
Yh that 2024 date just seemed like a placeholder . Idk why ppl were shocked lol . Animation movies takes yearssss to make and especially with the crazy levels of art styles. It could come in2028 as long as it’s amazing 😂 I’m there
We actually don't know what caused it in Pav's universe, Miguel's canon theory is just a theory (as he also can't really confirm how the multiverse actually works without putting people at risk, which he is unwilling to do) It even looks different than what happened to Miguel's foster universe; that universe simply glitched away, Pav's appears to be getting actively swallowed by some kind of darkness
Why does anyone think just cause uncle died.. No one else dies or spidey loses people, that's the point.. Great power, great responsibility nd needs sacrifice fr the greater good
Gwen's theme in the first scene is actually a super sped up version of the original Spider-man TV show theme. The traditional, 'Spiderman! Spiderman! Does whatever a spider can!'
I think nothing happened between Gwen and hobie Just from the fact that she knows Gwen and Spiderman never ends well And now that she understands that canons can be changed, she can hopefully finally be with whoever she wants Spiderman or not.
Miles is the Chosen One! He's the Neo and Luke Skywalker or should I say Darth Vader of the Spider Verse. Miles and Hobie his soul brother for life were awesome! P.S. Gwen and Peter got a lot of explaining to do! I still think Miles and Gwen will get together and even have children. In my opinion. 😊
Wait..has the guy (or both of them) never watched the 1st movie or has it just been that long for them?? Bc the start is feeling like that and I'm feeling confused. Edit: Aight it's just been very long ig
This Miguel is acting on PTSD like any traumatized veteran would when a rookie almost sets a nuke off after being repeatedly warned, this Miguel is not evil in any way and wouldn't need to imprison another version of himself because they'd probably just work together to try and find a solution Edit: They also didn't include his backstory, which actually makes his actions make even more sense
@ He said he replaced another Miguel. Or tried to. Is that other Miguel really dead? And while his actions are well intended, he has become borderline obsessive. Maybe he will have a redemption arc in the third movie. (Easy way out.) But what I am hoping is he goes full antagonist. And a second, good Miguel shows up, to stop him. That will give Miguel fans two to cheer for.
@@robbob5302 His "backstory" in the movie is not his actual backstory, it is only an experience he had that he uses as his basis for a theory in order to attempt to avoid that situation again. You do not actually know Miguel's character very well if you've only seen the movie (the movie is Gwen's perspective of the situation, of course the hormonal and rebellious teenager is going to view Miguel being a responsible adult as "villainous" or scary). Also: How *exactly* doesn't his story add up? Because he "replaced" an already dead Miguel or because he got genuinely attached to the child that is literally genetically his "too quick"? Because I think work environments have ruined people's actual sense of how long a year can be (as someone who has babysat before, you can get attached to a child like their yours within *days* let alone the several months Miguel had with her) and Miguel would never kill an innocent person, much less a father(which ties into the whole thing of knowing Miguel's character *outside* of just the movie and therefore having knowledge of the kind of household he was raised in and how it affects his decisions)
@@robbob5302 Also, Miguel being obsessive is a general personality trait he has about basically everything he does, it is not isolated or specific to his daughter in any way he literally just acts like that all the time (it's actually one of the things that usually makes his dynamic with the Peters so hilarious, because they're mostly "go-with-the-flow" types and Miguel is the "plan for every possible outcome before you even step outside" type)
Love miles but he is a selfish spider man first he followed Gwen cuz he was simping ma hard n spider man is a hero who sacrifices a chance to have a good life etc for being spider man while miles doesn’t completely does it im not saying he should sacrifices everything but that’s what spider man is and that’s could another point of seeing him as a anomaly
The watercolor of Gwen's universe is a reference to the way her comics are drawn.
No it’s not, it’s to represent transgendered people and that Gwen is also transgender!!!
Stop trying to erase us please!

I think you guys would love Arcane has some amazing animation like this
Yes !
I'm glad they did a reference of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, Tom Holland & Doctor Strange. We needed that ancient history of them.
By the time the next Spiderverse movie comes out, Miles won’t even be grounded any more!
😂😂😂
"How old is fifteen really?" I did not see a 25yr old Dave Chappelle comment coming 😂😂😂
Haha classic!

No way finally! One of the best movies
Part 2 was supposed to come out summer 24 but it's postponed bc there still writing the script. (Turmoil behind the scenes)
The ending got you guys 😂😂😂😂 so they didnt say when the next one comes out yet

The animators strike pushed it back. (A strike Sony caused.)
The event that happened to Miguel just happened to Pavitr's universe. It started unravelling cause Miles broke the canon of that universe
We actually don't know what caused it in Pav's universe, Miguel's canon theory is just a theory (as he also can't really confirm how the multiverse actually works without putting people at risk, which he is unwilling to do)

Why does anyone think just cause uncle died.. No one else dies or spidey loses people, that's the point.. Great power, great responsibility nd needs sacrifice fr the greater good
Because most people aren't actually "fans" of Spider-Man, the uncle is quite literally the only loss they *know* about *at all*

You guys need to see X-Men 97 and you wont regret it

Please watch Sonic Next 🙏
Should have watched Venom before this one.
But I think there is a good Miguel sitting in a laser cage someplace, who will turn up in the third movie and stop this Miguel.
