Even if the Russians didn’t realize they shot at Americans.. they knew about the Deconfliction Line. Americans on one side of the river, Russians on the other.
They agreed to the line to avoid misunderstandings. They crossed, they opened fire, their leaders denied it was their guys… US forces took their time testing multiple platforms.

The American people didn’t support either war. We went into Afghanistan and Vietnam to Support the local governments against insurgent forces. We pulled out of both countries because the American public didn’t support fighting anymore. 50,000 Taliban vs 2,000 Americans killed, the only thing we lost was trillions of dollars.

If I have read correct sources after being assured the russians had no assets in the questioned area we replied “Understood “. Then we proceeded to commit everything we had to an area about two square miles for about 12 hours. At the end of the bombardment we called the russians back and told them “Confirmed area clear of russian assets”. The affected area was described by some as looking like a moonscape. Another example of overkill is told by the Fat Electrician in a video called How America Destroyed 1/2 of Iran’s Navy in 8 hours.

When America takes the gloves off and sends in everything it’s a wrap folks, what most people don’t understand is the vast amount of combat experience the American military has from fighting for the last 2 decades in the Middle East is a game changer, combine that with the best aircraft, weapons, ships etc in the world, it’s unbeatable. Remember Russia and Chinese pilots for example have very little if at all combat experience as pilots. Wouid you bet on a race car with a rookie driver in a inferior car against a far supior race car with a driver that’s had 40,50 races in his belt?

Russia is using conscripts to fill ranks of what army it has left, because Russian didn’t learn anything after WW2. Russia also failed at changing its indoctrination to help its soldiers survive war. Russian military generals still think sending mass amounts of soldiers to take an objective is still relevant in this day and age, even tho it won’t win battles or the war! Just look at Ukraine to see the folly of Russian battle plans.

What alot of people dont realize is in most conflicts the us is involved with, there are so many rules of engagement (ROE) that the us armed forces has to follow, its unbelievable. This incident was one of the rare few times they wasnt held back.
For example in later stages of Iraq/Afghanistan, US troops could not engage ANYTHING without being fired apon first. But they also couldnt be agressive, as hearts and minds. So it boiled down to them literally walking around more or less in the open, waiting to be shot at just to engage the enemy.
Decades ago, in Vietnam, for another example all aircraft per ROE, were ONLY allowed to enter the area of operation through one air corridor, that the vietcong picked up on and lined with every pice of anti air equipment and guns that they owned and US was forbidden from attacking vietcong air bases.
If the US military was truly let off the chain...it could decimate entire countries within days, like when they did in iraq during desert storm.
Alot of people dont really realize that the us has been in armed conflict for most of its exsistance, whether through conventional open warfare, or strategic operations.
Edit: btw forgot to mention the single injury on america side, what video didnt mention was a springed ankle...

Recky you're a good man, very level headed with the right perspective! God bless you and your lady!
I'm not sure what's going on with this video, but as a former artillery soldier (US Army) something about it is very off so it must be an AI generated video. The narration sounds like it's describing a full scale long term battle. If there were 500 mercenaries then there were probably 100 vehicles at most so it doesn't take a reaper drone, field artillery 155 mm howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems, F-16's, F-22's, a B-52 that can launch 20 air to ground missiles or drop 20/500 pound guided bombs along with an AC-130 Spectre Gunship that fires a 30 mm Vulcan cannon and a 105 mm howitzer; all to just stop one little convoy. The whole thing could have been defeated with just the F-16's after the initial drone strike!
Another indicator of it being AI Driven was its non standard vernacular when it said "the oil field was not defended by any fighters" when US special Forces and the Air Force were obviously defending it! Upon watching it again I realized the narrator should have said "not just any fighters" The two statements are opposite in meaning.

Fun fact: Wagner had anti-air missiles, I believe it was an S-300 battery, further back that was supposed to be on. These were controlled by the actual Russian military, though, and not Wagner and apparently their Defense Minister, Shoigu, told them to turn off the air defense after the US military called asking if it was Russians doing the attack, which they denied. This is what Prigozin mentioned in an interview that took place somewhere in Ukraine before he was killed and part of the reason he held a grudge with the leadership of the Russian military. He said they 100% knew it was Americans the whole time.

My first visit to you all channel. The OLD saying is "mess with the best, DIE like the rest." Do you have a death wish? Mess with the United States military will grant your wish. 500 Russians just gives the special forces men and the airplane pilots more targets!!
Okay you two, may I suggest you locate and review --- AC-130 Gunship in Action Firing All of its Cannons. The U.S. has had a version of this beast since Vietnam. Called Spooky. I think of them like they are flying TANKS .. Check it out!!!! You will not be sorry, I promise!!! Just unreal firepower.......... ALSO review 5 reasons to not mess with the U.S. Military!!! Thanks you two!!!! Until the next time

They attacked the oil field from range. The troops on the ground held them off until they cleared it with Russia that they weren't attacking. That left them open to use force. It was overpowering and swift.
The reality of this is that Russia knew who was there. They sent Wagner (Russian Mercenaries) to gauge the response. They sent them into death knowingly. It's sad if you're Russian. There are interviews with the Russian troops that were there.

"Plausible deniability" is basically mercenary probes.
CCCP taught us that trick and now US friendly mercenary corporations are billion if not trillion dollar industries.
Great money but you need to live long enough to actually collect a check.
So I did cargo ship maintenance with security being a secondary response to hostile boarding.
Lots of pipe wrenches and welding but only manned a gun once agianst pirates. I am a very good marksman but hitting anything on a pitching ship would be luck...and only happened once and we managed to hit an outboard and they gave up and turned away.
I made between 162K and 241K in those 3 years. But the pay raises were for technical skills keeping her afloat more than military and those guys were doing between 80K and 110K and basically didnt do a damn thing but hang out.
I prefer to stay busy and make the time go by faster till I get my check. I was hoping for more sport shooting but most of my time was spent bitching about parts inventory and figuering out how to keep it afloat and toliets flushing...plumbing is exceptionally complicated. You'd be surprised what ordinary things on a ship are a pain in the arse complicated.😂

The wagner group is an independent military group that russia uses to have plausible deniability. They get a % of the profits from the captured oil fields. That's why they went after it.
