Inspection run to Grasslands West

Eltham South Electric Tramway is a 45mm gauge electrified garden tramway, located in suburban Melbourne, Australia. Built by Alexander Jamieson, the line operates a range of trams and small heavy rail rollingstock. The overhead wiring is operational and compatible with both trolley poles and pantographs. This video shows a full return cab ride on a special train from the depot platform out to the current terminus at Grasslands, crossing some regular services along the way. We then proceed cautiously onto newly laid trackage for the extension to Grasslands West, which will ultimately lead to a new stabling and servicing area. No it's on private property, he might do an open day one day but nothing planned at this stage.

You mean the one at about 01:45? It used to form a loop back around to the depot, it's since been mostly dismantled.

But why, was the Material to be used for the Line down to Grassland!
