I wanna see him fight one that has full bad intentions as well, somebody like Jon Jones has his mindset.
He is not, he wants to injure him he is using boxing rule illegal palm strikes hitting with full force with the bone where the glove is not padded. Strickland always goes full "I want to injure you" mode. Clueless opponents never notice nobody should spar Strickland before getting to know him, he doesn't care about sportsmanship, never did.
I wonder how you can jam up Sean. What if you stuck very close to him? Not clinch but just stay tight with him. Don't let him long guard or evade as much. Use a lot of body hooks, hooks and tight uppercuts. Would that work?
People making fun of the Japanese guy for being tired while Sean is not breathing hard need to remember the reason all of Stricklands fights are boring as shit. If the other person wants to get work they have to be the aggressor because Sean is happy to just walk around the cage the whole time. Being the aggressor who initiates usually takes a lot more energy. People are saying he gassed out but hes just trying to get work in. If he had Stricklands style and saved his energy we’d be watching Strickland vs costa pt 2 snoozeathon. People should be praising the man for being willing to create exchanges even though he’s in there with a dude that’s 2 or 3 weight classes above him. people are making judgements on small clips of a 15 minute spar, sean's making dreams come true and they act like he's mugging people..
@wheelmanstan Yeah. And most don't know that sparring with a bigger and better fighter is the fastest way of becoming a better fighter.
Wasn’t a mauling at all. Anpo held his own. Not many at all can say that going against Strickland. That being said Strickland is 40 lbs heavier and would wreck Anpo. People say Anpo was restricted from kicks. But Sean is restricted from grappling. Anpo was going around full 80% while Sean was going 50% to 80%. Japanese fighters like to push right out of the gate. Plus it seems they both have already been training or sparring. In the full video, they were already breathing heavy since the beginning. Good spar! Nice to see
Anyone have context, it looks like Strickland is helping him prepare for a fight or that guy got the last case of beer and smokes in the convenient store
I would like to see Sean vs Canelo boxing match
Before opening the video, I thought that was Naoya Inoue
I love Sean. Edit - Sean's cardio is fantastic. The Asian was the one breathing hard
Sean playing with his food
Wasn't a mauling.
The lighter guy gasses and also didnt exhibit high striking IQ for a K-1 Fighter
Bro he looked great. He was more impressive than Sean. He was tagging Sean all 3 rounds.
@@thedust850 Really? It felt like Sean got the better of him by far
@@questions9856 okay lets be objective like men here. Who landed the most body shots in the 1st round? Who had slicker movement? You mixed up the jabs to the body vs face? You also have to consider that Sean has atleast 30 lbs on this guy. It should not have even been close.
Technique wise this kid has way better boxing fundamentals.
like a cat toying with its helpless prey before devouring it.
They just boxing my guy Sean’s definitely got the advantage.. would love to see them with kicks bet ya it’s a lot more competitive
Not even close lol.. Dude just got tired
@@TTime685 homie got rekt. peek his face at the end. just sparing but he still got destroyed and with the headgear. he leaking.
@@genuflextStrickland fan definition of wrecked 😂 just like how he wrecked costa 😂😂
@@mr.purple250 yee, he do be wrecking all these noobs🤣

His breathing is all f’d up.
right man you noticed too, crappy cardio and or health issues.
Or just training hard asf. You gotta push yourself to actually improve.
🎯@@AGtipsy
It's called getting exhausted from training
@@AGtipsy I understand this, have better cardio.
Ok now let's see him with Inoue.
Well he was going hard. I do this to and I get back what I give the bigger man. That’s how it works. He was Just taping him at first but all of the other guys shots were like you said full of intensional force.
Where's the full video?

If it was the other way around Sean fighting the bigger guy hed be crying about some genetics bs disadvantage 😅
Sean spars light heavyweight and heavyweight guys all the time. He spars Francis every chance he gets.
Man put respect on the Japanese he is no smaller man he is former k1 champion
I think it was Hard Sparring and both guys were throwing hard and both landed solid shots,,,I guess Sean was battering him in the end but Good Showing by the smaller Japanese guy
Strickland plays his game. Dude walked right into getting pounded. Strickland just biding his time the whole session, thinking to himself, just wait, oh, you wanna throw?, ok, u just wait, then, Bam, was knocking him pretty good there. lol
All Japanese K1 guys seem to be explosive as fuark
The dude was trying to throw 100%. He's lucky Sean did not KO him.
The japanese started going hard
Wouldn't you go hard if somebody palm striked you? Not hitting with the pad of the boxing glove but instead with full bone contact? Thats how it be with Sean. The fight is never fair, his philosophy is that nobody deserves a fair fight, you are there to injure or get injured which i respect but I hate how ignorant his opponents are that he has always bad intentions.
I wanna see him fight one that has full bad intentions as well, somebody like Jon Jones has his mindset.
That little guy is a beast even though Sean out-technique and out-rhythmed him.
If strickland weigh 40lbs lighter, that body shots would’ve affect him more
I dont know if there was a 40 lb difference there.
That dude is a killer too
this small japanese man isnt some random guy,he is a whole k-1 champion, dont make it look ike he beat another streamer or something
Strickland looks like he is just toying with him.
If you visit him at Couture, I’m sure that Sean would be down to let you test your theory. Interested to see how that works out 😉
How many times do you need to say smaller man It really doesn't matter that much This dude is weird
It does, especially when the heavier dude destroyed adesanya
You don’t see volkanovski tryna go balls to the wall with Leon Edwards
Skill wise, Strickland doesn’t appear to be more technically skilled than the Japanese fighter. Japanese fighter appears to have gotten in his own head, and the stress caused him to gas out trying to force the knockout. Strickland advantage wasn’t his weight it’s his patience.
I think Rukiya Anpo probably alredy had previous sparring rounds, as he was breathing heavily from the start of the round, maybe they were throwing fresh opponents each round
Big Danthewolfman energy
You should do videos on the lee family in ONE
This mf is still getting caught with left hooks
Its because the philly shell is really not that good if you dont have really good back pedaling movement, thats why out of almos everyone in boxing only Mayweather has made it work for him. Most people should just high guard honestly unless you fight Canelo.
Pretty close to a real fight. Strickland does a lot of things right. Just keep working
He played it super calm and smart. Respect to both getting in the ring, but smaller guys cardio isn't there.
If reggie dudes dont know, you shouldn't spar with Sean bc he's not cutting slack when you in there
