I find it odd that Ian Garry is one of the most disliked fighters in all of combat sports yet is accepted to train with one of the most "picky" & infamous, due to their violent sparring sessions, fight camps of all time, "CHUTE BOX, ACADEMY" based in Brazil. 🇧🇷
EDIT - I'm aware that fighters train internationally. But for you, CASUALs that do not know, CHUTE BOX ACADEMY has been the fight camp for MMA LEGENDS primarily from Brazil, such as Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva, SHOGUN & NINJA Rua, etc. Ian training there is like Conor training in Dagestan in the sense he's training among a brotherhood foreign to him and only learned Portuguese to cover his ass. Is everyone a fan of Ian Garry suddenly? 😂
So what? Alex Pereira is Brazilian, and he trains in the USA. Johnny Walker is Brazilian, and he trains in Ireland. Diego Lopes is Brazilian, and he trains in Mexico. Arman Tsarukyan is Armenian, and he trains in the USA. Fighters train outside their home country all the time.
