Note: It holds 50 rounds. However held with 10 round helical mags. 5 mags in total
What is the point of having multiple mags
5 times the reloading process 💀💀💀
@@alfianfahmi5430 is it necessary to put multiple skullemojis in every comment I wonder
@@manender1020 IDK. Just a stylistic preference for typing a comment for some punctuation 🤷♂️
I mean, this comment section by no means needs a formal typewriting, so what is our right to judge how we type if it doesn't matter??? 🤷♂️
@@alfianfahmi5430 bro doesn't use invisible characters for punctuation, what a shame
so i looked it up, the wiki article says that the magazine actually held 50 rounds in 5 separate tubes with 10 each, which still only gives a single second of fire before empty
Proof of concept gun IG. Would love to see it modernized tho.
Probably the closest we've seen is the Glockinator from TABG. Two mags, 52 rounds. With the double-barrel attachment, it magdumps in one second flat.
1 second is all you need what's that like 5oz in lead hitting nearly all at once in different places equivalent to a 5 barrel 12g buckshot shotgun 😰.
Scary stuff I'd prefer the shotty for reliability though.😂
@@Nayr86 the individual rounds wouldn't be hitting nearly as hard as buckshot would, after all it is 22lr out of some fairly short barrels, not much velocity there, and buckshot pellets are larger diameter than 22, it would still be lethal nonetheless
@@TwiliPaladin I have an information for you. The Glockinator isn't from TABG. Some absolute madman actually created it in real life, and only then they put it into PUBG.
Yes, I had to sit down for a minute when I found that out as well.
Damn, I guess someone got a hold of Keltec's crack and a whole load of 22's.

10 rounds of 22 at 3000 rpm
I mean, we have a double barrel shotgun can hold 2 rounds that basically do the same thing…
It uses 5 10 rnd mags for some unholy reason
@@manender1020 50 round mags actually
"you know what, fck you" *rechambers your E-11 blaster rifle to .22LR*
HA
this
"Want to see me empty the magazine?"
...
"Want to see me do it again?"
Ok droopy
"rear grip on the left side and armrest to manage recoil" my brother in christ, its a 22 LR with 5 barrels firing at 3000 rounds per minute with a ten round mag, a mag dump takes a fifth of a second, you are out of ammo by the time you realize you pulled the trigger and given it never really left the prototype stage it would have been mostly if not all milled parts, meaning it was probably heavy as hell for what it was, so this thing probably didnt even have recoil to begin with
edit: so i looked it up, the wiki article says that the magazine actually held 50 rounds in 5 separate tubes with 10 each, which still only gives a single second of fire before empty, it would just barely begin to climb before going dry
+3000 rpm

Wolfenstein chaingun
The only use I could see for such a weapon is to be supplied to a resistance movement that has relatively easy access to rimfire ammunition.
It’s low caliber means as long as you can hit your targets with it there is little concern for your bullets piercing their target and causing collateral damage. So I could see use in civilian environments though it’s questionable how it compares to other submachine guns in that role
Me looking at my toolbox:

90s Video game type gun
They weren't inspired by nothing
This has got to be the *sniffles* stupidest design I’ve ever seen… so impractical, so excessive, *wipes tear* it’s beautiful…
Yup, this gun is definitely meant for gaming. It's a handheld mini gun that shoots really fast. But has a magazine capacity of only 50. That's balance.
I mean it’s .22 so it’s gonna do jack shit
However, for a time in COD MW2 .38 special snakeshot was able to run your shit, so maybe I’m not that far off
@@ZenithPeak1 You could be right.
@@ZenithPeak1 I don't think it doesn't use this type of bullet. But you're on the right track.
@@Footting1212they do make .22 snake shot. Downright anemic, but I don't think there's a single thing about the concept of those rounds or this gun concept that is a good idea anyways
Not too bad of a concept! The rotary design mechanism could help offset the heat generated by modern caseless cartridges, which in turn could offset the high weight and (relative to ROF) low capacity of brass-cartridge magazines.
Still unsafe and too complex
Could you get any less credible?
@@notachair4757 I think you've never seen actual not credible comments
Man really saw the allies switch to glorified pipe guns for ease of manufacture and said "Let's design a handheld gatling gun that shares none of the logistics of other models" and wondered why it didn't catch on.
This gun design is cool and curse at the same time
“It costs $400,000 to fire this weapon, for 12 seconds.”
With the prices of rimfire today.... you're not wrong....
I don't think 22 is that expensive
@QTwoSix 3000 RPM is about 500 rounds per second. A 25 round box in my area is about $20. I long for the days when a 500 round brick was $20. $40 for 50 rounds, $400 for 500. Give it another Biden term and the thought of cost going up 100x won't be out of the realm.

@@rogo7330 or if it must be .22 cartridge, at least figuring out how to fix the 50 round limitation. the biggest thing holding it back from being viable is the capacity limitation.
It would be an impressive weapon if not for the fact it only has ten rounds of ammo in that magazine. That's effectively a burst carbine that has to be reloaded after every burst.
The AM-180 only had one barrel and even then it's still more practical than this.
It had 5 magazines though iirc. Still, yeah
So if it has 5 10 rounds magazines in total, and fires at a rate of 3000 rpm, that means it fires at 50 rounds a second can dump its entire ammo load in one second, good lord
*Ah yes, Handheld Death Machine*

So someone figured out how to make 22 go BRRT before we had motors and never made it? That's a sin right there.
maybe in games, we can rectify this. we just need people to turn the concept into tangible motion. can you imagine a gun like this in a game like fallout, maybe with some adjustments? the .22 minigun for those who cannot spec into big guns builds.
We made up for it by taking a Thompson, crank up the rate of fire, and slap a dinner plate that holds 170 to 200+ cartridges of .22 on top. To top it off its called the American 180.
If this thing held more rounds i could actually see it being a good but of fun
WHATDEFAK IS KILOMETER 🗣️🗣️🗣️ 🔥🔥🔥 🦅🦅🦅🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
What's up with plenty of .22Lr guns having ridiculously high fire rates?
Most likely to do with .22 LR being very weak in terms of recoil and is very easy to control.
@@gustavferreira627It's also due to most SMGs chambered in it having extremely light bolts and a very short travel distance to cycle completely, which means they burn through magazines really, really quickly.
It's not just about practicality, it's also a matter of mechanics.
“.22 is weak”

Straight from the TR Republic
The closest thing we got to Cyclone from Perfect Dark.
Ah, this is perhaps the inspiration behind the gatling rifle in alpha prime game, albeit they modeled it in conventional config using box mags instead. You got some interesting sources, good sir.
maybe. i would love to see this gun appear as a weapon in a fallout game... slightly adjusted maybe. like a form of experimental .22 submachine gun that didn't quite make the cut for mass usage, but that did see some service or prototyping in some parts of the setting.
He got the patent so nobody else could replicate such a horrifyingly powerful weapon.
A handheld minigun is very awesome and cool!
fucking 10 rounds l m a o what was the plan? "There's germans! Grab the smg!" "Got it!" [BRRT]
edit: so i looked it up, the wiki article says that the magazine actually held 50 rounds in 5 separate tubes with 10 each, which still only gives a single second of fire before empty.
Could you imagine it reimagined into a more rifle ish shape. Think keltec KSG .. and chambering in 5.7x28 .. with adjustable fire rate ..in the hands of US space force soldiers
So... Like a Vector?
imagine the jamming...
MAYBE if it was somehow belt fed from a backpack. Otherwise it's just a shotgun with extra steps
It can be done . Something like Degtyaryov machine gun with drum magazine on top but with vertically put bullets and conical gear putting bullets in horizontal direction for entering chamber and barrel . Like old cassette deck loading for drum and handgrip below that because of mass . Also it has to use different complex springs mechanism ( 2 compression springs and 1 torsion spring are elementary spring that is aside of bullets . Several of such are system for pushing bullets ) because it gives the possibility to have about 200 rounds in magazine . It is heavy and it possibly needs to be made in 0.357 magnum with modified projectiles and limited 5 barrel system rotation . Also little problem is bullet dimension since drum goes above barrels.
Similar concept can be used for aircraft/drone pods but with adequate caliber because of fast maintenance and rearming .
Gas or recoil operated , translation movement to rotation by grooves .
Man...we could have had the M1-L1 rifle back then, now that we have 3D printing, maybe some madlad might try to create the gun and test the idea?
Meanwhile over at the us presidential election of 2024 - sleepy joe and convicted felon start arguing over golf and kiss afterwards because they both hurt each others feelings.
