Mottainai is a fab game, am thinking this expansion is going to make it way more complicated. Would have been good if more cards would have been added to the base game to make more variety. Think the Om cards will make it more confusing???!!!! Just my opinion.
It'll add a bit more complexity, but it's not really complex. Om cards are a separate deck. You start with 1, and get 1 more whenever you use a Prayer action. They're the same as regular cards, with 1 difference: When you build an Om work, you can tuck cards from your hand underneath it which'll interact with their effect. They're quite powerful, but dumping a load of cards under it affects your tempo (you'd need to Tailor/Prayer up to replace the cards) and reduces your bluffing potential. Seems to be a potential high risk/high reward scenario.

Can't she also pray at 19:10? Taking the monk helper with Chris' monk task, and then having a monk task+helper on her side?
Legato you need to have the helpers before the first action starts.
