There are multiple ads, targeting multiple audiences. This one is (in part) targeting those who need to be updated on charging tech.

Wow, really? Who would have thought that an EV with several thousands cells of battery lasted longer with a single 5 minute charge than a laptop or a cell phone... Not to mention that the IONIQ 5 needs a 200Kw supercharger to charge for 5 minutes to get a 100 km range. Not a fair comparison at all. Even if it is just a commercial.
Ioniq 5 is rated to be able to charge at 350kWh. only problem is those superchargers aren't really stationed anywhere yet.
and the commercial is not to prove a point but to be a funny advert albeit very cringe

I imagine the point that they are trying to make is that of all the gadgets you own it is going to demand the least effort to manage. That is a good point to make to people who are worried about having to charge an EV.

To now replicate every manufacturing process, supply chain, mining and refining business into every significant nation as a way to improve security would be an even poorer decision.
