- Having accomplished its mission as a test car, IONIQ 5 awaits a new transformation.
This IONIQ 5 went through numerous tests to ensure our safety.
Instead of taking the conventional route of scrapping it afterward, Hyundai envisioned adopting its technology into creating a new device: an air purifier.
Under the vision of ‘progress for humanity’, an adventurous makeover is about to take place.

The fact that the IONIQ and IONIQ 5 have electric seats with memory and profiles for each user on the infotainment, but still cannot link those profiles to the different keys - it just baffles me. I’ve had personal keys on 20 year old cars.

Wha? They took the air filter and fan from the car (climate control) and then bolted all a rim and tail light to it? Sounds like something that I would buy from a junkyard artisan. Did they also apply a rust patina to give it that aged look, or does the rim make this thing too futuristic? Cool... I guess? (Doin' it for the likes!)

Ioniq 5 출시 이전에 만들어진 실험용 차량을 기존에는 차량 강도 테스트, 전시장 전시, 대학교 기증 등의 용도로만 사용하고 나머지는 전부 폐기 처분했는데.. 현대차에서는 이것들도 재활용을 통해서 새로운 생명을 부여하고 있다는 것을 강조하는, 일종의 친환경 폐기물 절감 프로모션 영상 이죠.

Not sure what they are trying to say here ! Should we pay a fortune to buy the car to transfer it to an Air purifier ? Any car will have the same components and parts can always be used in the same way . So what is so unique here. ?? It would have been more impressive to show us how green is the process of manufacturing the batteries , how many workers had a decent wage and human working conditions to mine the raw materials for the massive battery !!

Hyundai rather should have put money into their battery management system than in advertisement. Pre heating only while charging 🤦♀️
and maybe on the automatic tailgate too. it wont stop closing by its own when its cold outside. both are things i didnt expect from a hyundai because hyundai should have a bit of experience in building cars.

배터리 성능 떨어져서 폐차해야 할때 마저도 공기청정기로 업사이클링해서 재사용한다는 거자나. 그만큼 훨씬 더 친환경적으로 활용요소가 많다는거지
자율주행이나 ota . 배터리 기술이 안되니 자꾸 다른쪽으로 승부수를 띄우는군.
